“Eitoku, you’re amazing today. Don’t worry about those Atraria people, let’s enjoy ourselves,” the woman in Koken Eitoku’s arms exclaimed.
Eitoku sneered, “Those Atraria people are getting paid top dollar by my family and yet they’re always thinking about leaving work early. If I don’t squeeze them a little bit, they won’t understand who they’re working for.”
As Eitoku finished speaking, he looked up and suddenly froze in place.
There was someone in the room who had appeared out of nowhere and was now watching them with interest.
“Eitoku, what’s wrong?” The woman asked irritably.
“Who are you?” Eitoku scrambled to his feet in shock and panic.
The woman finally realized what was happening and quickly stood up straight before pointing her right hand towards where she saw the figure of Leo standing.
Eitoku was a direct member of the Koken family while the woman served as both his bodyguard and personal assistant at the same time.
With a crisp sound of “ding,” the dart thrown by the woman landed on the ground.
Not hitting her target, the woman reached out to grab her bag placed on the side.
A swooshing sound broke the silence as the woman quickly retracted her hand, followed by a loud “bang” as the corner of the table, along with the bag, fell to the ground after being sliced off.
Startled, Eitoku shouted, “Who are you!?”
Leo emerged from the shadows, his cold gaze fixed on Eitoku as he replied, “I am the one who has come to take your miserable life.”
“It’s you!” Eitoku’s face turned pale as he recognized Leo’s face, remembering the previous order he received from Maniwa to investigate Leo.
“Hamamatsu, he is an enemy of the Koken family. Kill him quickly!” Eitoku exclaimed urgently.
Before Eitoku finished his sentence, a woman named Hamamatsu, with her hands forming seals, released a crescent-shaped flame from her hand, slashing towards Leo.
Leo simply flicked his right hand, and the crescent-shaped flame dissipated into the air.
At the same time, Leo’s figure flashed, appearing instantly in front of Hamamatsu. His right index finger swiftly touched the center of her forehead.
Leo’s Spiritual Power directly destroyed Hamamatsu’s consciousness, causing her gaze to become vacant.
Hamamatsu, only a middle-ranked Ninja, was no match for Leo at all.
Seeing Hamamatsu motionless with a vacant and foolish expression on her face, Eitoku’s eyes filled with deep fear.
“You… don’t…”
Before Eitoku could finish his sentence, Leo also tapped his forehead.
Then, Leo grabbed a bottle of medicine from the desk and poured it all into Eitoku’s mouth.
The medicine quickly took effect, and Eitoku, who had lost consciousness, was now controlled by instinct and pounced on Hamamatsu…
After leaving Refong Group, Leo drove to a large Orientian restaurant.
The restaurant was called “Saffron House,” decorated in a completely authentic Orientian style. The prices of the dishes were expensive, and it was a well-known upscale restaurant in Langstel.
Based on the information collected by Bob, the person in charge of Saffron House was also one of the main members of the Koken family, named Koken Shuko.
Just as Leo was about to enter, Shuko and his manager, Hasegawa, came out of the restaurant with two bodyguards and headed towards a Lincoln car parked nearby.
The Lincoln started its engine, and after more than ten minutes, a voice suddenly sounded behind Shuko, “You’re Shuko, right?”
Shuko and Hasegawa’s faces changed dramatically as they quickly looked back, only to see a person sitting in the last row of the Lincoln car, whom they didn’t know when had boarded.
The Lincoln car had a total of four rows, with the driver in the first row, Shuko and Hasegawa in the second row, and the two bodyguards in the third row. The sudden appearance of the person was in the fourth row.
Upon seeing a stranger unexpectedly appearing in the car, the two bodyguards reached for their guns from their waists.
However, before they could draw their guns, Leo extended his hand and crushed their necks.
“Who… who are you?” Hasegawa’s face was filled with horror at the sight of this unknown person’s swift and decisive action.
“You… you are Leo!?” Shuko recognized Leo.
“Yes, I am Leo.” Leo sneered and flicked his finger.
Two streams of Spiritual Power shot out-one attached to the Lincoln car’s accelerator, while the other destroyed the brakes and steering system.
The Lincoln car roared loudly as its speed suddenly surged.
The sudden burst of speed caused both Shuko and Hasegawa’s faces to change drastically.
“Oh no, Lord Shuko, the brakes are not working!” the driver panicked, shouting in Orientian language.
His voice carried a sense of terror because there was a bridge pillar ahead.
Leo coldly glanced at them, performed a teleportation jutsu, and disappeared inside the car.
After Leo left the car, the Lincoln vehicle crashed into a bridge pillar at an extremely high speed, producing a deafening sound.
The fuel tank ruptured, and due to the violent impact, sparks ignited, causing the Lincoln car to explode, giving rise to a towering inferno.
The entire car turned into a ball of flames, burning fiercely in the darkness of the night.
The surrounding vehicles came to a halt, shocked by the scene unfolding before them.
Leo glanced at the raging fire, knowing that Shuko and the others had met their inevitable demise.
Shuko’s death was Leo’s warning to the Koken family!
The next morning, at the Refong Group headquarters.
Maniwa, Yuriko, and Fukutsuchi appeared in Eitoku’s office.
Outside the office door, there was a police cordon.
In the early morning, when a department manager came to report to Eitoku, he witnessed a horrifying scene and hurriedly called the police.
On the office desk lay Eitoku and Hamamatsu, their breath already ceased.
Maniwa clenched his fists, veins bulging on her forehead, her eyes burning with anger.
Given Eitoku’s status, such a major incident had occurred, and Deputy Chief Matias Jasper personally led the investigation team.
“Miss Koken, we have already determined the cause of death. Both individuals died from excessive indulgence and exhaustion,” Matias said to Maniwa.
As Matias spoke, he glanced at the two individuals on the desk.
These two from Orientia must have gone mad, actually consuming that substance and playing themselves to death.
“Of course, the cause of death I mentioned earlier is only a preliminary autopsy report. Later, we will transport the bodies to the morgue for a detailed examination by the forensic team,” Matias added.
“I understand. Thank you, Mr. Jasper,” Maniwa replied, trying to suppress her anger and speaking harshly to Matias.
