The old man bowed slightly ” Hello miss, tell me if you want to have something . I will be at your service at any time “. The man said politely I smiled a little at him even though he was unfamiliar to me I didn’t felt scared as Mr. Gold belived him I peeked at Liam before I shrink even more in his arms.
He took me upstairs from where I had fallen earlier. I was holding him by his neck and my head was rested in his wide and strong chest. I could hear his heartbeat through the only thin layer of shirt he was wearing, his smell was so intoxicating and refreshing at the same time. I snuggled into his chest smell even more of his wonderful sent. I closed my eyes and let him lead me wherever he want.
After a long time he stopped. I opened my eyes and we were standing in front of a door. He pushed it gently and we were back to the big black room. He gently put me down on the bed. I looked at him and saw his face was just so near to me. I took a deep breath and tries to inhale his scent. He smiles as I do so.
He sat right next to me and caressed my hair softly. It was so nice to be true. I had never felt like this before. I hold one of his hand tightly and didn’t let it go. It felt so safe like that in his arms.
He took out his phone from his pocket and dialed a number. It ringed before the phone got picked.
“Hello Mr. Gold. You need anything? ” It was Liam on the other side and his voice was something that I was familiar with.
“Send her some porridge and ask Frank to make dinner” Mr. Gold said calmly. I looked at him in shock as he said these words. What was meant to be by dinner. Wasn’t it only morning? I looked at the window and there, It was still bright outside.
“It’s going to be dark in a while” Mr. Gold said. It was always like this, he always know what I’m thinking. He surprisingly gave answers to whatever I think. Was those things got written on my face?
“Arrhhhhhhh” I screamed as he pulled my hair from one side. I looked at him in confusion when he smiled at me. What was he doing?
I covered myself with the blanket from top to bottom but didn’t let of his hand. Thankfully he didn’t said anything to me. I hold his hand with both hands and tried to sleep. As I closed my eyes, I saw those scary faces so close to me that I freaked the hell out of my body. I opened my eyes in a flash while pushing away the cover from me.
I sat on the bed and shrieked making a small ball of myself when Mr Gold’s magic voice came from aside “Don’t be scared. They are gone and I’m here with you” he put his hand on my head and calmed me down a lot. Not only calm but I feel so safe with him around.
I didn’t said anything but hot tears rolled down my cheeks as I thought of the monsters that sucked my blood out of me. I could still feel the evil aura of then when I closed my eyes. I could still saw them pounding on me.
I couldn’t close my eyes after that, I covered myself from the quilt and stayed there as Mr Gold hold my hand.
In a while there were some foot steps outside the room, I was so scared that I hold Mr. Golds arm tightly in my hand.
He softly patted on my hand and said in a gentle voice “Don’t worry, it’s Frank. He is here to give you some food. Come on let’s have something” he said to me trying to cheer me up.
“I… I’m not hungry at all” I said in a trembling voice.
“Frank set up the table over there” Mr. Gold pointed at the tea table beside the room.
He nodded and put the tray of food there. Mr. Gold get down from the bed and pulled me. But I didn’t want to go anywhere. So as I resisted he picked me up from the bed like a kid in his shoulder and landed me on the couch there.
“Riley, I and Frank decided to accompany you and Mr. Gold. I hope you wouldn’t mind us joining dinner later at night.” Liam said.
I looked at him and shocked my head “Of course not, why would I object anyway” I tried to force a smile at him.
Mr. Gold put his hand on mine and reassured me. And to be honest that worked, I felt so much more fine with his touch.
“Well then, I’ll be off now. I have lots of things to take care of at the office since you are not there to help me” Liam said.
I looked at him and he gave me a warm smile before he turned to Mr. Gold for a bow. “I’ll be here at dinner” He said as he walked out.
“I’ll go and see him off. Besides I need to still prepare for the dinner tonight.” Frank said “I’ll see you two in a while”
He also left after Liam. Now there was only me and Mr. Gold at tje big room. I looked around the big and dark room. I wonder whose room was this? And why was it decorated so scarily?
“It’s my room” he said. I looked at him and asked “Your room? Is it your home too? ”
He nodded at my question. “It is purple gold villa” he said..
I agreed to it since I had already seen some of the places here. It was indeed suited to be called an villa. He had such a big villa but why did he decorated it with all black here….
“I love black color and it is my room. So….” he stopped talking as he looked around.
I also looked at his big black wardrobe, black bed with black sheets and quilts. Black pillows, black wall and even black painted table. It was so clear that he loved black. I looked at the window with questioning eyes, there was a white curtain hanging in front of the big window.
“I don’t think lights should be blocked. They are necessary for us” he said . “I’ll show you around tomorrow. I have a big garden at the front and forest at the back.. The air there is so fresh” he said as he inhaled some of air inside him.
I was silent. It was so stupid of me I know but I couldn’t help but think of how did he save me? What had happened to them? And why were we here? I really need answers to my questions.
“How did you save me? Where did you find mee? ” I asked him.
Now it was his turn to be silent. After a few minutes of silence he spoke. “You remember, you called me that day. I was at a meeting but since I heard so much noise at the other side. I felt as if something bad was going on. I called you again but the call didn’t get connected at alk” he said.
“And then? “I asked him.
“I went running to home since it was your land line number. But when I reach there, everything was mess there. Things were here and there, door were broken and bloods were there. And then we find you lying unconscious on the one side of the bed. So we called ambulance and take you to hospital.” he said.
“You had lost lots of blood by than, so we did a blood transfusion. But you didn’t get up even after that. However the doctor said everything was fine and you were recovering so fast. He asked us to leave us for rest. And i didn’t felt safe to leave you alone there. So I take you here with me. Doctor will come in a while and check you once since you got up. He might be here in a while ” he added.
Everything was fine but what? I was alone there? What about the vampires? What about that wolf? Where did the wolf came from? It wasnt beast fir sure… Then who was it.
As I was thinking all if those Mr gold spoke “You can ask anything if you want to” he said.
I looked up to him but I didn’t know what to say to him.
