Even though she had been to that shop, she didn’t reply to my message. And i couldn’t wait for message for long because I had an important meeting with a VIP client. So I left my phone to Liam and went to the meeting room.
I was in there for an hour, during that time I wasn’t focused on the meeting at all instead Intrested on my phone. When i came out of the meeting room, I take my phone back from Liam and check on the first second I took the phone in my hand.
No, not, nope….
She haven’t messaged me back. I keep checking the phone but she seemed to be vanished somewhere.
I had her all day in my head and was a bit upset while she didn’t reply. But I wasn’t that much unhappy either because it was an unknown number. Right?
Later that day, I went home earlier. I looked at the room in front of me and I know she was in. I smell her sweet scent inhaling deep breaths and boy, I felt so relieved. And all the complaint and the tiredness from the day had left me in an instant.
I was so relaxed after a while and then I pressed the doorbell. I tried to make myself seem fresh, fit and fine. I set my hair, brushed off dirts from my clothes and then I pressed the door bell again.
She came to the door in a while and then opened it. She looked at me with her beautiful eyes and she was a bit surprised.
“What are you doing here? ” She asked me as she stood there puzzled.
Is it her waiting for someone else? A question pop on my head.
“I’m very hungry. ” these words escaped my mouth unexpectedly.
Then I feel a strong scent of meat coming from inside. I got very excited. It had been a while since I eat any animals. I haven’t gone for a hunt and she barely makes meat.
I couldn’t help but took a deep breath to inhale as much as I can.
“Pork? ” I asked. I could tell it was a pork from the smell.
She nodded a bit and stromed in. I went up to the kitchen and she followed me just behind like a lost puppy.
I know she was feeling weird looking at me that I got so excited to eat the meat but now I this point I really am. I opened the cover of the pot and a line mesmerizing scent rushed inside me once again.
“I’m even more hungry now. ”
“please go and seat there and I’ll put them on the plate. ” She said with a smile on her face. I couldn’t help but smile back at her.
I went to the chair and sat there as if o was some six year old child. I felt like I was not a rich nor a mature guy. I know it’s a bit opposite of my image but I was quite enjoying behaving like a kid so why not ?
She came out after a while and she had brown rice and pork and salad. And they looked amazingly appetizing. I couldn’t help but gulp down a bit of saliva.
She then set the table gracefully. I couldn’t help but keep looking at her. She was the person choosen by moon goddess for me, to take over my life to a new direction.
“My luna” Ray said smiling. She looked so pretty as she set the table. Only if it was for my lifetime…
As she finished setting my table, she moved a bit and stayed there.
This is when I realised that Yhere eas only one plate on the table. I looked at her and she was smiling at me.
Where was hers?
Is it because I call her my cook?
But… I want to eat along with her.
“Go get your food. Let’s eat together. ” I tried to be sound as a gentleman.
She didn’t reply but nodded at me before she went back to the kitchen. And soon she came over with a plate of food for her. I was waiting for her to come and haven’t even touched my food. She came over and say in front of me.
“I’m digging in. I’m very hungry. ” I said ready to dive in. When i took the first bite, I froze with the super yumm taste being melt inside my mouth. She had amazing skills on cooking. I can’t stop myself and I finish the whole plate in a while.
Even though I was full, my mouth don’t want to stop tasting those. So I decided to have more.
“Is there any pork left? ” I asked without hesitation.
She just gave a small nod at my question.
“Can I have a bit more? ” I said as I extended my hand towards her.
She smiled as she took the bowl from my hand went in to the kitchen once more. She filled the bowl and came out in a while.
“I never have this much of food before. ” I said. I was actually trying to say that the food was amazingly delicious.
When i started to fill my mouth with those yummy meats again, she went back in and came out with some dessert in her hand.
I have that sweet too along with her in front of me. I was all away from negativity and sadness. I feel so good in there.
After finishing, I bid goodbye to her and came out. She still was thinking about me even though I wasn’t there anymore.
I went in and look at my reflection in the mirror and find myself laughing to myself. Shit what was it?
I was behaving out of myself. Was i gone crazy?
This wasn’t how the world know Willis Gold.
I keep thinking about the pack, her and my mate till midnight. I have to go back to pack another day. It wasn’t something important but I need to go. I wanted to visit my people my family. Even meeting them gave me a kind if new energy.
When i got up next day, I got ready to go back to the pack. When i was coming out, I was in confusion if I should tell her or not. I came out of my door and went up to her door.
I was feeling a kind of uneasiness in my heart as if I’m desperate to know something. But What?
“I think she wanna know about something not you?” Ray said.
Shit, I almost forgot about this mate bond. It must be her, but what she wanna as much as this?
Then I remembered her interview from yesterday . She might be desperate for this.
I took out my mobile phone and then message d her saying “Don’t think too much, the job isn’t yours. You’ll be working me. ”
I messaged her and went far from her appartment. When i was down the building, I got a notification on my phone. When i opened it, to my surprise Riley had messaged me.
It was three words. Just three “Who are you? ”
I looked at the mobile phone and smiled. This little fellow was asking who I was.
“Didn’t we just had our dinner , together? How can you forget me so fast? ”
Then she didn’t reply for a long time and then u typed another message.
“I’m not at home and won’t be home tonight. ”
She didn’t replied this either. I waiting for at least few couple of minutes. But when there was no sign of getting a reply from her, I didn’t stay still. I just slipped the phone in my pocket and hopped in my white Mercedes Benz. I put the key in and it roared up firing flames out of it and then it fled up in the busy road.
Soon I was on the road to my real home. Ohh that child whom I saved last time, I was definitely going to visit her. And maybe I’ll be visiting unkle John too.
In the way, there were some shops and malls thay was common territory for human and wolves. I went in there and bought a big packet of chocolate.
A lot of memories came back flooding as I went near and near to the pack territory. The fresh smell of it was making my nerves cool down.
I can feel how much Ray wanted to came out and feel his home under his feet.
But I didn’t let him out untill I entered my pack. When i got in the pack I went to the orphanage.
