“He’s going to out of town for a while . ” Camila said to me.
“What for? ” I asked him.
I have some basketball training sessions there. I’ll be there for at least three months. ” he said in a small voice.
“And what are you sad about? Don’t think we’ll not be there… When you come back, I and Cami will be waiting for you here. Yeah Ethan too. ” I tried to comfort him. He seemed really down today.
“We were when you come back after those years of Parting where will we go in this five months. Don’t worry and train well. ” Camila added.
“I know. ”
“”I’m waiting for the day I can finally see you playing in national. ” Ethan added.
“Yeah, we’ll get free tickets then. ” Camila said .
“Arhh, eat fast everything is cold already. “I urged them.
They nodded and I keep chatting with them and we all non stop laughed all the while they were having breakfast. ”
After we finished the breakfast, I and Cami went in to get changed for the office.
Jason was moving today so he went back early.
Ethan was still waiting for Cami in the living room.
I booked a cab for me because I don’t have a car or I don’t even know how to drive one.
In a while we all parted and I get in the taxi, and drove to the Golden Company . It was a while after I come to this area of the city.
Everything in my life seemed so fast forward, I don’t even know what is going on. In just few weeks, I worked here got kicked out from the job and then forced back to this office again.
In a while the cab stopped and I get off after paying him. I took a long breath. Phew I was here again.
Willis’s pov
When i saw her being bullied in there, I can’t take it in . Ray wanted to kill that woman. I dragged her out of the resturant and asked him to leave this work and work with me. But she said she didn’t want to.
I felt bad at that. She ran inside. I keep waiting for her there out of the resturant. She did came out in a while but she didn’t came in my car and hailed a taxi to her appartment.
I know she was fired and it was done by me. I did it so that she came back to work with me. I can’t, my wolf can’t handle our mate being bullied and how can i leave her alone when my mate bond want him closer to me each seconds.
Few days passed by and she still was ignoring me. She won’t came in front of me at all. She used to be inside her room. I was so worried at first that she wasn’t even talking to anyone or something.
She still used to cook for me but she will keep it in front of the door and ran away ringing the bell. I tried to catch her but I never could.
I don’t have other choice, I felt like I have put her into depression, so I hacked her mail and ids. But instead of being depressed she choose to look for another job. I was thrilled looking this.
Here I was thinking that she was going to depression because of me but this girl, she was mailing different office’s and all.
But whereever she would send her cv, I would make sure that the office don’t even reply her back. She thought that she was being rejected everywhere when the reason was something else.
I even keep an spy on her and make sure that she won’t get any jobs. She can’t have more options in any way.
It will soon be her birthday and she was turning 18 and she will be turning at her birthday and I can’t let her be alone. I needed to be with her. Turning alone might take one’s life.
So I gather up some guys and rang her bell. She didn’t open it at first. But I was so determined today. I rang her bell again and again before she finally open up a bit.
But she slammed the door shut as soon as she opened it. Don’t she liked it that her mate was here. I felt a bit pain I’m my heart . I quickly hold the edge of the door and pushed it open.
I pushed open the door and went inside.
“Why are you here? Aren’t you supposed to be in your office? ” she asked me as she turned away.
Wow, she really don’t like me here, does she?
“Why are you running from me? ” I said with a pained voice.
“What? No, I’m not. ” she said. She wasn’t looking at me even now.
“Oh really, ” I held her wrist and pulled her towards me. “Then what are you doing? ”
“Me? ”
“What am I doing? ”
She asked me back.
“Why don’t you come in front of me? ” I asked. All the time I missed her come back flooding in my mind.
“Is it because I asked you to work with me? ” I demanded for confirmation.
“No… I just don’t see any reason to..” she said…. And what? Reason? … I don’t what to reply her. I think her underage was keeping her safe from the mate thing when I was burning. But even though how can she leave me suddenly like this.
“You are my cook… Remember? ” I sat on the couch.
“I do make you foods everyday. ” she replied. She already have answer for my each questions.
“Is that so? ” I smiled trying to hide my real emotion.
“What if I say, I need my cook to cook for me at my house? What if I say I need you to cook breakfast, dinner and even lunch for me? ” I want you near me…
I can feel what she was feeling. Stupid mate bond.
“You don’t have other choice… ”
“What if I say… I want to resign? ” she replied me and now I’m tongue tied. But however I still need to keep her near me. Her birthday was coming.
” You still need to pay me… ” I tried to make her surrender.
“I’ll work somewhere else… ” she replied. If you are working anyhow why not with me?
“I won’t allow you… ” I blurted this time without thinking.
“You can’t control me.. ” Control? What does she think of me ? Fine then, you’ll be in my control…
“But I can make sure you don’t get job anywhere… ”
“Why would you do that…. What do you want? ” wow she was asking this after all this conversation.
“Work with me… ” I replied firmly.
“Why… ”
Because you are my mate. I can’t tell you yet.
“Because I’m saying ”
“I refuse… ” wow… Good. She refuse to work with me? Who does she want to work with then.
“Huh? You think you can? ” I tries to scare her. But she was my mate, how can she be weak.
“Yes… What will you do…?” she replied. And What will I do? You’ll see….
“Nothing more… I’ll just ask you to pay hospital bills within next month. ” I said.
“What? “Her expression changed and now it was pale white like a paper.
‘I don’t have money…’ she was saying in her mind. I know Riley, that is why I’m asking for it so that you’ll do as I say.
“Work with me… I’ll dismiss the bill, if you work for one month. ” I offered her an undeniable offer. As a businessman she’ll accept the offer, now or later. It was just a matter of time.
“I don’t trust… ” she said those words and I felt something hurting inside me.
“I’ll make a contract then. Liam will deliver it to you soon. ”
I got up from the sofa and went towards the door.
“And yes, you aren’t allowed to work anywhere else… ” I said before I opened the door and went out .
I went directly to the office. Later my spy said she was heading out for some interviews. Then I asked Liam to stop the both interviews.
No you have to be with me, at least untill your birthday.
My son keep me updating about everything, Liam had his work done and the director of the Rose she was interviewing wasn’t going to hire her.
When she took second cab to the next interview, I messed her. But she didn’t reply. As for that interview Liam had already taken care of that.
I know my responsibilities, everything is at its place but I can’t risk her life at any cost. She has to be near me on her first turning.
