Kennedy knew very well that even for a special forces king like himself, it was not easy to enter WONDER. Leo, who was personally invited by Abel, showed how much WONDER valued him.
Leo explained with a smile, “Kennedy, you’re congratulating me too early. I haven’t joined WONDER yet.”
Kennedy was taken aback by this statement but soon realized that Leo’s chances of joining WONDER were high since he came here with Abel and the others.
Kennedy would never have thought that Leo had little interest in the highly coveted organization of WONDER.
If it weren’t for Hidden Vault in WONDER, Leo wouldn’t have come here with Abel and the others.
Abel waved his hand and said to Kennedy, “Take us to the plane.”
“Yes sir!” Kennedy replied loudly as he led them towards where the military helicopter was parked.
When they arrived at the helicopter, Abel instructed Muscle Man Tower, “Tower, you drive.”
“Yes!” Tower responded as he opened the cockpit door and sat in the pilot’s seat.
Abel sat in the co-pilot seat while Leo along with Thunder Dragon and Fire Rose sat in back row. Leo sat in between them.
When the helicopter started, Fire Rose took an eye mask and handed it to Leo, saying, “Put it on.”
“Why should I wear it?” Leo frowned.
Fire Rose glanced at Leo’s face and explained, “The location of the Hidden Vault is the most confidential place in WONDER. If you go there and don’t join WONDER in the end, it’s better to be discreet…”
Fire Rose didn’t finish her sentence because she knew Leo would understand what she meant.
Leo sneered dismissively, “If I really wanted to remember the flight route, do you think a mere eye mask can stop me?”
Fire Rose was taken aback by Leo’s response and was about to say something when Abel interrupted, saying, “Fire Rose, regardless of whether Leo joins WONDER in the end or not, we should respect and trust him.”
“Fire Rose, listen and learn how to talk to your superiors. If I were interested in the treasures in the WONDER Hidden Vault, I would just grab them when I arrive. If I were to sneak in and steal them, it would be an insult to myself.”
Upon hearing this, Abel, Fire Rose, Thunder Dragon, and Tower all had a speechless expression on their faces.
This guy really thinks WONDER is deserted.
As the helicopter’s rotor spun rapidly, it slowly lifted off the ground and flew north.
Before long, Leo could only see the Langstel city getting further and further away through the glass.
After two hours, the helicopter flew out of the Chiville territory and entered a stretch of lush mountains.
After about twenty minutes, the helicopter began to descend slowly and finally landed on a small airstrip on the edge of a primitive forest.
After getting off the plane and looking around, all they could see were tall peaks and a lush landscape.
“Hello, Commander!”
Led by a captain, more than ten soldiers raised their hands in salute.
“Lead the way,” Abel ordered.
“Yes, Commander!” The captain responded and his gaze lingered on Leo for two seconds before leading the soldiers in front.
“Leo, this is a military restricted area, so you must follow behind me,” Abel instructed.
Leo didn’t say anything, just nodded and followed behind Abel.
Although the mountain path was rugged, it had been well-maintained and wasn’t difficult to walk on.
Following Abel all the way, Leo could clearly sense hidden sentries at regular intervals.
At the end of the path, a heavily guarded military camp appeared.
Even with Abel’s guidance, the guards at the camp carefully inspected Leo and the others.
After passing through the camp, there was a towering mountain peak. They took a military off-road vehicle to the foot of the mountain, where they could see a huge tunnel entrance and a massive metal gate.
Abel stood to the right of the gate, and after a successful facial recognition, a fingerprint recognizer slowly emerged from the wall.
Abel extended his right hand, opened his palm, and pressed it on the detection area of the fingerprint recognizer.
The fingerprint recognition of all five fingers was successful, and the fingerprint recognizer retracted into the wall, followed by a deep rumbling sound.
The massive metal gate slowly opened, and Abel turned to look at Leo before stepping in first.
Leo, Fire Rose, and the others followed closely behind. Once everyone was inside, the massive metal gate closed slowly.
Beyond the metal gate was a short tunnel that was illuminated by overhead lights, making it bright as day instead of dim.
At the end of the tunnel, another metal door appeared, but this one was much smaller than the previous one.
This time, Abel entered a password, followed by facial recognition, and finally voice recognition.
“Hello, please state your name,” a mechanical female voice said.
“Abel Wells,” Abel stated his name.
“Voice recognition successful. Please enter.”
After the mechanical voice finished, the metal door opened automatically.
After passing through the second metal door and walking forward for a while, a third metal door appeared in front of them.
This time, it was iris recognition, and the metal door opened automatically.
“Leo, we have arrived,” Abel turned his head and said before entering first.
After passing through the third metal door, the field of vision suddenly opened up, as if entering a massive palace.
The most eye-catching in the hall were the huge support columns, followed by the neatly arranged massive shelves.
On the shelves, there were various shining and exotic metals and ores, so numerous that it was astounding.
Leo’s attention was instantly drawn, and he hurriedly approached for a closer look.
Leo’s reaction made Abel couldn’t help but show a hint of pride on his face and said to Leo, “This is the reserve of ores and metals. Since the establishment of WONDER, all the collected precious metals and ores are stored here.”
As Leo walked, watched, and muttered to himself, “Mysterious Ice Iron, Valyrian Steel, Polestar Iron Mine…”
These terms almost automatically surfaced in Leo’s mind.
Whether it was Mysterious Ice Iron or Valyrian Steel, they were both excellent materials for refining top-grade weapons.
As for the Polestar Iron Mine, it could add attributes to weapons.
These precious metals and ores, if seen by a Martial Cultivator, would definitely make them envious. But for Leo, they were just average.
As a Cultivator, the weapons used ranged from low to high, divided into magic tools, spiritual weapons, and Magical Artifacts, with each major level further divided into upper, middle, and lower grades.
Among them, Magical Artifacts were further divided into Primordial Magical Artifacts and Postnatal Magical Artifacts.
The so-called Primordial Magical Artifact referred to a Magical Artifact that existed before the creation of the world. They were more powerful than ordinary Magical Artifacts, with the highest level being the Primordial Divine Treasure.
As for Postnatal Magical Artifacts, as the name suggests, they were Magical Artifacts refined by powerful Cultivators themselves.
