“I think we should go to the place , where they are coming from to track down the alpha rogue. ” I said.
“Dad you look out for here. We’ll go to track that damn thing. What do you say? ”
“Well, I’m in. ”
“If you guys are going take some of our fighters with you. They all are coming from northern side… You go find that alpha, I and gamma will stop them here. ” dad said fighting a rogue.
My dad was a gray wolf while my mom was brown one.
“Don’t go through the crowd they’ll grow as you go forward, go from a side till you saw their base camp.” dad said fighting one of the rogue.
“Roger that. ” Ethan said with a playful smile. This boy is always in his own world. He think very confident and never takes anything seriously.
“Can you handle them here dad? ” I asked out of concern because those rogues weren’t being finished. They were just increasing.
“Don’t worry about me, I have already called few of the neighbouring packs before I came. They should be here anytime. Once they are here, we’ll came to you. ” Dad assured us.
“Well than take care. ” Ethan said.
“Follow me. ” I said through the pack link and then I moved towards the northern part. Some wolves along with Ethan followed me.
There were lots of rogues in the way, we have to fight them to go through them. Somehow we fight with those and came but far of the war field.
We were around fiveteen wolves in total, thirteen trained fighters of the pack, Ethan and I.
“Keep an eye on your left and right. And don’t came in sight , I don’t want to get into unnecessary fight. Our mission is to find the base of those rogues so that we can kill the alpha rogue. Is that clear? ”
“clear. ” they replied.
All of us ran through the dark jungles. We were hiding as much as we can, we killed those few rogues that we met on our way.
We were on the left from the war field. We could see the rogues on the right. They were increasing in number as much as we went further…
Some of the rogues came to us as they get our scent and we were killing whoever saw us because we don’t want to get exposed before we reach their base.
We were out of the territory in a while and from here those rogues were huge in number. They were so angry and they have so much hatred in their eyes.
But even though, we haven’t reach their base yet. They were coming from somewhere else.
The atmosphere was getting dark , I looked at the sky and dark clouds were gathering . But we could’ve stop there. We had to find alpha rogue anyhow.
In a while , it started raining with the loud thunders. The nature was also in a bad mood. There was lighting and the sound of thunder.
While we ran more than an hour, those rogues seemed to be in large numbers but they weren’t running. Some of them seems to be standing like guarding something.
I alerted everyone and we stopped there. In front of us were some tents in real…
I gave never thought that rogues will unite and attack on the most powerful pack. I wonder who was that so daring leader…
It was dark and raining. Sometimes the flash of the thunder was lighting the whole environment.
We decided to take advantage of the dark and get into their tent.
“But our scent will alert them. ” one of the pack shoulder said.
“Let’s roll on the muds, our scent will be clear for a while. ” Ethan suggested.
“But it’s raining , it won’t cover for a long time. ” another wolf said .
“We have to take the risk. We don’t have a choice. ” another wolf next to him replied.
“It doesn’t matter how much time we got because that’ll be enough for us to kill their Alpha. ”
They nodded at me.
We rolled down on the muds to cover our scents. Thanks to the rain, those muds were soaked and easily sticking in our furs. In a while we all were covered in mud, and oir scent had decreased a lot.
“Don’t fight with them unless they recognize you. First find the alpha. ” I said.
“Yes ” everyone nodded at me.
“Let’s go. ”
We got ourselves mixed in the crowd of those rogues. The good thing was it was raining and we won’t be suspicious for our fur because of raining. We separate and went to different ways to search the alpha.
“Don’t stay roo far.” Ethan said throgh the mind link.
“Ohh, is the always confident Ethan tge great scared? ” I teased him.
Others laughed at that too.
“Shut up, I’m saying because I won’t be able to help you guys in time if you are too far.” He said.
We were in between them, we were searching for the alpha beast in between them. But we haven’t found that alpha yet. There were lots of tent and rogues were so full outside and inside.
I ran through one of the tent and directly went inside one of the tent. There were two rogues and they were in their human form eating something.
“Who are you ? Who allowed you to enter here ?” one of the rogue asked pointing at me.
I was in my wolf form so I couldn’t say anything to them. I don’t want any unnecessary fights. I turned around trying to leave.
“Wait” one of the rogue get up from his seat.
“We don’t have any black wolves. Rogues are red. Who are you ?” he asked me.
Anoyher rogue also get up from his seat after listening to his friend.
“Let’s alert others. ” rhe second rogue said.
I quickly transformed into my human form and went to his side.
He was shocked to see my speed. But I had no time to entertain him. I quickly covered his mouth and prevented him from screaming.
He tried to fight back but i hold his head with both hands and cracked his head. And he died right on the spot. I throw him on the floor softly so that not to make any sound.
Another one tried to get into his wolf form but I hit him on his chest. He got pushed back and I catched him before he hit the wall of the tent and pulled towards me and he landed on my arms before he could react.
I quickly broke his head as well with a crack sound.
I hold him and slowly put him on the bench making his back towards the opening of the tent. Anyone who’ll pass from here will think he’s sleeping.
I take the anoyher rogue on the floor and made him stay on the floor with the support of the tent wall. But still his face was hanging down.
“Why were you guys eating, while there is a big fight going on outside? ” I asked them before I turned to my wolf and get out of the tent.
“What happened? ” Ethan asked.
“Two of the rogues were having dinner and now they are sleeping. ” I said getting out the tent.
I lurked into the dark shadows before the others rogues could notice me.
I ran to the another tent and looked inside but there wasn’t anyone. Then something caught my eye.
A bit far from me was a big tent at the last. It was bigger than the tents around me. There were no more tents behind that one.
“There is a big tent. ” I alerted everyone “Alpha could be there. There are so much security out there. ”
“Yeah, there are lots of rogues inside. And they seemed to be the bigger ones than the rogues that we killed. ” Ethan said.
“Ethan? Where are you? ”
“outside the tent. I need to eavesdrop them, I can’t hear what they are saying. That one must be the alpha. He’s talking too much. ” he said.
“What? ” I got a bit panicked. What was this stupid boy doing alone in between of them.
“Why didn’t you tell us if there was something suspicious ? And how did you crossed so much security? ” I asked.
“I just wanted to confirm. ” he said as if it was nothing a big deal.
It was not like I was afraid or some cowerd but I don’t want to see him in danger.
“Everyone to that tent. ” I said through the pack link.
I ran towards the tent. There were lots of rogues at the front.
“Where are you Ethan? ” I asked him.
“At the back. ” He replied.
