I pick her up and hold her in my arms…
She hugged me tightly as I hold her up…
It was so weird that there were no longer anyone around there.
“Where is everyone? ” I asked to that little pup.
“I don’t know, I was playing hide and seek with my friends and it was my turn to hide. But they didn’t came to find me for a long time. When I came out by myself, there was no one here… And then.. That monsters tried to kill me… Woo-hoo… ” the child in my hands started crying…
“Hey, don’t cry… I’m here now. And you are safe OK. ”
She sobbed silently…
I wiped her tears… ” What’s your name pup ?”
“Lilly.” she answered sweetly and smiled at me.
“Nice name… ” I said to her and she smiled. It was good to see her smile but I had no time to play with her…
I looked around and saw the building in front of us… it was an orphanage… So this was why she was left here because she had no parents to look for her…
I mind linked my dad ” Dad, I’m inside the pack territory… Where is you all… ”
“I’m at North east side of the territory… Came fast here… ” dad said to me…
Then I mind linked mom… ” Mom ”
“Son… You’re finally here. ” mom said through the mind link.
“here is a child at the southern border… She is alone and was already haunted by those wolves… I need to go to Dr. Came and pick her up. ” I said without wasting time. There was no time to be wasted.
“OK, I’ll come over. Just keep her somewhere safe. So that no-one can find her. ” mom linked back.
“Lilly ” I called out.
Let’s play hide and seek once more. OK? ”
” will you also left me once I go to hiding? ” she asked innocently.
“No, I won’t. You are so pretty, who could left you. ” I pinched her cheeks as I entered the orphanage.
“Lilly, I need to go and help others. You need to hide somewhere in a safe place. I’ve called my mom to pick you up. She’ll came in a while. ”
She nodded at my words.
“Don’t worry, I’ll not anything happen to you. All you have to do is to hide until my mom came to you. OK? ”
” I’m afraid uncle. But since you have said that I’ll do that. Please came fast to take me with you. I’m afraid to be alone. ” she said pitifully.
“Don’t be scared brave girl. ”
I took her to one of the room and then put her in the wardrobe.
“Don’t make noise and don’t came out by yourself. I’ll tell my mom your location. ”
“Uncle what if bad monsters came again? ” she asked me.
“Nop they won’t come. They all were in coma right now. And I’ll lock the door from outside. OK? ”
“Uncle what if I got scared ?” she asked me again.
“my mom will came in less than ten minutes OK ? OK you count till 100 and they’ll be here. I’d that OK ?” I asked rubbing her cheeks.
She was barely six years yet she was so understanding. She nodded her head.
“I’ll close my eyes and count tilk hundred then. Please ask them to came fast. ” she said.
“Sure pup. ” I closed the wardrobe. There was a hole on it so breathing won’t be a problem for her if she stays calm.
I get out of the room and locked the door from outside. And then came out of the orphanage. I looked around for the last time to confirm no rouges were alive and thankfully there was no rogues left around.
“Mom, I have kept her inside a wardrobe of a too in the orphanage here. She is just a child . Come fast or she’ll be scared. ” I mind linked my mom.
“If there is no rogues around that won’t be a problem. Two of our people are already on their way. They’ll arrive there in few minutes. ” mom linked me back.
I then sifted back to my wolf form. I was at the southern border and the war was at the north east side of the territory. It was going to take so long if I ran there. Blue moon pack is the most powerful and largest pack in the world. It has its territory to very large area. I couldn’t reach there on time…
I had no way but to do it…
I used all my powers and focused on them… I felt all the energy started collecting in a place inside my body. My body heat up instantly as if it was a fire ball.
I closed my eyes and feel the north east territory… In no time I felt like I’m weightless and then as if I am falling from somewhere.
After a few seconds, I felt my body as before… I can listen to the fights and growls around me.. I opened my eyes and I was at the war zone…
Yes, I had power to teleport myself… But it would take half of my energy…
I looked around and there were bloods, dead bodies and wounded rogues fighting with our pack members…
As I saw them hurting my pack members, surge of anger ran through my veins. I wanted to kill each of the rogue that dare to attack my pack… Many of my pack members were also on the ground… Some were wounded while some seems to be dead…
I looked around while running to those rogues… I pounded on one off the rogue and bite his neck off his shoulder… Another wolf came towards me running as I landed on the ground… He jumped on me and I dodged his attack easily, then I bite his right leg from back and throw him off…
While I was charging into another third wolf, one more wolf jumped on me and bite my neck, but it was shoved off by my pack member. I looked at him and nodded, a silent thank to him. Then I got back to that third rogue and bite off his leg… He screamed loud in pain.
I left that wolf and ran to another… There three wolves again circled me, that knew who I was…
I smirked at their petty strategy… And then I pounded on one wolf and scratched his neck from my sharp claws… Blood ooze out from his neck…
I quickly rolled to another side as another rogue had been already marched on me… I then quickly got up and jumped on third one… I clashed my long claws on that rogues shoulder and bite his neck off…
Then I jumped from its body to another rogue directly on the top off it and I bite his one hand and shove him far away.
When I was finished with the three wolves, more wolves came in front of me and surrrounded me from every side.
Before they could attack , a brown wolf came and attacked one of the rogue from behind. It bite that rogue on the neck and killed him right on the place.
I looked at him and I smiled.
“Here he canes ” I said inside my head.
” Having problems?? ” he teased me.
“Shut up, I have no problem at all. I can do this all day. ” I said as I pounded on a wolf that was coming for me. I hit him with my claws and then pushed him away.
“Let’s see. ” the gray wolf said as he jumped on one of the wolf in front of him. Soon that rogue was killed too.
We were killing rogues, but again and again they were increasing. I don’t know where they are coming from.
“They are not going to be finished like this. ” I said biting off neck of one rogue.
“how many off them were gangging up against us. Heck they aren’t finishing at all. ” he replied, clashing his paws at one of the rogue with frustrated manner.
“We need to find the alpha rogue. ” I said… (Hey we are talking through mind link here. Remember they are in their wolf form. )
“Is anyone seeing alpha rogue… ” I asked through the mind link.
“No”
“No”
“Only the rogues are here. There is no any sign of alpha rogue here. ”
“They are keep increasing alpha. ”
“We need to track her down, or else they’ll keep increasing in number no matter how much we kill them. We won’t be able to win the war like this. ” dad said .
“I think we should go to the place , where they are coming from to track down the alpha rogue. ” I said.
