Chapter 867 Tracking Talisman

The attitude of the boss made the middle-aged woman grit her teeth and shout, “I’ll ask you again, are you going to refund or not? If you don’t refund, I’ll call the police! I’m going to sue you for fraud!” She pulled out her phone from her pocket as she spoke.
The short and chubby boss shrugged his shoulders and said indifferently, “Sure, go ahead and call the police. Let’s see who they will help!”
This kind of thing happened almost every day on Antique Street in the old alleyway. Leo lost interest and left the crowd.
After buying some materials for making Talismans paintings, Leo left Antique Street directly by taxi back to his clinic.
Everything was ready to start making Tracking Talismans.
Leo took out a yellow tablecloth and placed it on the table. He picked up a wolf hair brush dipped in cinnabar ink with Spiritual Power gathered at its tip before starting to paint.
Making level one Tracking Talisman was simple; he finished five of them quickly.
The essence of Tracking Talisman was not in painting but rather activation or awakening. Only when activated could it track targets according to their requirements.
Originally Dog Treasure was needed for activation but with Bronze Little Crane around activating became simpler than ever before.
Leo took out Bronze Little Crane next to Talismans while chanting incantations under his breath as he stamped an imprint onto it.
Suddenly a streamer shot from Bronze Little Crane’s beak covering all red cinnabar lines on Talismans then completely merged into them.
At this point tracking talisman production had been completed.
Immortal crane leads way which is what makes Tracking Talisman effective.
Continuing, Leo started crafting various types of Talismans for different needs.
Around eleven at night, outside a bar named “Zero Degrees Bar,” a middle-aged man stumbled out, swaying as he walked. Instead of calling a cab, he wandered along the street with blurry eyes.
Not far along, he reached another bar called “Forest.” At this moment, a swaying figure emerged from the bar, coincidentally colliding with the middle-aged man passing by.
“Damn, can’t you see where you’re going?” The intoxicated man, not bothering with formalities, immediately started cursing.
Only after finishing his tirade did he bother to look at the person he had collided with. This glance brought some sobriety back. The one who bumped into him was a young woman, approximately in her twenties, who seemed even more intoxicated than the middle-aged man.
Seeing the young woman struggling to stand, the middle-aged man quickly reached out to support her.
The young woman looked up with a dazed expression and exhaled a mouthful of alcohol. “Do you… do you have a car?”
With his arm around the young woman’s petite waist, the touch was exquisite. In that brief moment of lowering his head, the man caught a glimpse of fair softness.
As the saying goes, alcohol emboldens timid hearts, and a fierce desire had already surged into the man’s mind.
Almost without hesitation, he replied, “Yes, I have a car.”
The young woman’s entire body pressed against him, the scent of alcohol mixing with perfume filled his nostrils. The young woman coquettishly continued, “Could you please take me home? I’ll pay for the cab fare.”
“No problem.” The middle-aged man, now mostly sober, wouldn’t miss out on a chance like this. Nodding confidently, he added, “Come with me. I’ll take you home.”
Assisting the young woman to the roadside, he then hailed a taxi. Once inside, the middle-aged man informed the driver of the name of a nearby budget hotel.
Continuing with the story in the medical clinic’s backyard room, after finishing the crafting of Talismans, Leo took out a neatly folded Talisman, opened it, and retrieved some hair from the corpse’s head.
Placing the hair strands on the Tracking Talisman, he activated his Spiritual Power, and the hair quickly merged into the Talisman. The Tracking Talisman ignited, and a white light beamed into the Bronze Little Crane on the table. The Bronze Little Crane immediately came to life, flapped its wings twice, nodded at Leo, and flew off the table towards the door.
Leo collected the Talismans on the table, stood up, and opened the door. The Bronze Little Crane led the way.
At this moment, the Bronze Little Crane was invisible to ordinary people, except for Leo himself.
Hailing a taxi outside, Leo directed the driver based on the path indicated by the Bronze Little Crane. After half an hour, Leo got off the car in front of an old village alley.
Using a hand gesture, he retrieved the hovering little crane in mid-air.
Knowing that the supernatural creature must be nearby, Leo’s plan was to lure it out.
Swaying into the alley, Leo mimicked the behavior of a drunk person to avoid alarming the creature. The alley was dimly lit, and Leo refrained from using Spiritual Power to probe, choosing to walk casually.
After a short walk, he saw a figure lying on the road ahead. As he approached, he found a woman dressed in vibrant colors, seemingly asleep.
Leo squatted down and patted her shoulder, saying, “Hey, wake up!”
The woman made a soft sound and slowly opened her eyes. With a blushing oval face, curved eyelashes, a straight nose, and red lips, she was extraordinarily charming. When she woke up, she struggled to sit up and looked around in confusion, murmuring, “How did I fall asleep? Where am I?”
As she spoke, a scent of alcohol wafted into Leo’s nose.
“Lady, you passed out here. You should go home quickly,” Leo said with concern.
The woman nodded and tried to stand up but exclaimed, “Oh, my foot seems to be twisted. It hurts.”
Leo helped her stand, and she pointed to her right foot, looking pitiful.
“Good-looking guy, my home is nearby. Can you help me get back?” she pleaded.
Leo nodded, and the woman expressed gratitude, saying, “Thank you!”
Supporting her, Leo walked into the alley. After a few steps, he felt the woman getting closer and eventually putting her entire weight on his shoulder.
As they walked, the woman whispered into Leo’s ear, “Handsome guy, do you like me?”
Leo smiled and replied, “Sure, who wouldn’t like a beautiful woman?”
“Then spend the night at my place tonight,” she said directly, her voice full of endless temptation.
Leo could only nod in response.
Guided by the woman, Leo helped her into the village. It was a partially demolished urban village, extremely dilapidated, with some houses half-demolished and appearing like ghost buildings in the night.
The woman took out keys and opened an iron gate ahead. They entered a small courtyard.
Inquiring about her living conditions, Leo couldn’t help but ask, “Miss, why do you live in a place like this? It’s quite eerie.”
