“Louvell, what is it?” Leo frowned.
“My third uncle is Louvell Ted, the founder of Ted Group. He’s known as Mr. Ted in the business world,” replied Demarien.
At the mention of Louvell, Demarien regained his confidence instantly. In Langstel, whether in the underworld or mainstream society, Louvell’s reputation was well-respected.
“I don’t know who this Mr. Ted guy is,” said Leo coldly to Demarien. “If you dare to harass Ms. Calder again, I’ll break your legs.”
Leo then turned around and walked towards Willow, “Ms. Calder, let’s go.”
Watching Leo and Willow leave, Demarien clenched his fists tightly and spat out a curse under his breath, “Whether you’re human or ghost doesn’t matter; you’re dead!”
Demarien took out his phone from his pocket and dialed a number.
“Uncle Louvell! Someone beat me up…” he cried over the phone.
“What trouble have you gotten yourself into now?” roared Louvell on the other end of the line.
Louvell knew all too well about his nephew Demarien; calling him a spoiled brat would be an understatement at best.
Ten years ago when disaster struck their family suddenly and without warning, Louvell’s second brother (Demarian’s father) lost his life while trying to save him (Louvell).
Since then, Louvell had raised Demarian like he was one of own sons since he didn’t have any children himself. However, Demarian’s terrible personality traits soon became apparent, and so did Louvell’s decision not to hand over control of Ted Group to him. Instead, Louvell just made sure that Demarian would never want for anything for rest of his life. This way he could make peace with himself regarding what happened with his brother ten years ago.
“Uncle, I really didn’t do anything wrong this time. I told you before that I have a girlfriend, right? Today, I went to see her specially, but some punk dared to harass my girlfriend. I couldn’t stand it anymore so I cursed at him. Turns out he not only hit me but also stabbed me!” explained Demarien quickly yet vaguely twisting the truth slightly.
“What? He stabbed you? And harassed your girlfriend?” Louvell was usually calm but now anger showed on his face.” Are you hurt? Call Zakari right away and tell him to teach that guy a lesson!”
Fierce Tiger Boxing Gym may appear to be just a regular gym, but in reality, it was funded by Louvell as a place to train bodyguards and fighters for him.
Demarien’s face fell as he replied, “I’ve already called Zakari and the others, but that guy’s martial arts skills are too strong. Zakari and the others can’t beat him.”
“What!? Even Zakari can’t beat him?” Louvell’s expression darkened on the other end of the phone.
Louvell knew well enough about Zakari’s abilities. Although he couldn’t compare to retired special forces soldiers, teaching an ordinary person a lesson was child’s play.
If what Demarien said was true, then this situation became quite mysterious.
“Yeah, Uncle. You have to help me,” Demarien pleaded.
After remaining silent for a moment or two, Louvell asked, “What does he look like? What is his background?”
“He definitely doesn’t look as handsome as your nephew here. As for his background… all I know is that he is a teacher at Langstel Medicine University with no significant connections,” Demarien quickly replied.
“Tell me your location; I’ll send Arkell over to find you.” Louvell sounded displeased. “You can’t even keep an eye on your own woman! You’ve disgraced our family name!”
“Uncle… I think it would be better if you came personally instead of sending Arkell over. I have a feeling that even Arkell might not be able to handle him,” thinking back on how Leo had taken down Zakari and company in mere moments made Demarien shudder slightly with fear.
“Do we really need me there in person just to deal with some punk?” Louvell couldn’t contain his anger anymore.
“Uncle … It’s true! That guy has terrifying martial arts skills! And when I mentioned your name earlier, he insulted you!” Demarien quickly explained himself again.
“What did he say about me!?”
“He said that even if you came yourself, he’d still take you down without hesitation!”
The color drained from Louvell’s face on the other end of the phone call; his tone turned fierce, “That little brat dared say such things?”
“Really, you can ask Zakari and them if you don’t believe me. I’ve completely clarified your identity to that guy, but he just doesn’t take you seriously at all. He even said you’re not even worthy of fetching his shoes!”
Demarien quickly exaggerated his words, aiming to enrage Louvell successfully. If Louvell could be provoked, Leo would be in deep trouble.
As expected by Demarien, Louvell became furious, “Arrogant! Tell me the address; I’ll personally pay that guy a visit!”
Louvell had been focusing on cultivating his temperament recently and rarely got angry. However, this time, a wild guy from who knew where dared to call him that, and Louvell couldn’t tolerate it.
Hanging up the phone, Louvell instructed a man standing next to him, “Arkell, bring your guys and come with me to a place.”
Sunlit Haven restaurant, a window seat.
After ordering food and thinking about Leo beating up Demarien and others earlier, Willow looked at Leo curiously and asked, “Mr. Bloomer, you’re really amazing. Did you practice martial arts before?”
“I did.” Leo nodded simply.
Just then, Demarien appeared again with three men in black suits wearing sunglasses behind him.
“Arkell! They’re over there! That girl is my girlfriend and that guy harassed my girlfriend and stabbed me!”
Louvell was the last one to come in. After hearing Demarien’s words, he pointed his cane towards where Leo was sitting and ordered, “Arkell, make him disabled.”
Looking around nervously, Arkell said, “Boss Three… there are too many people here… it might cause trouble…”
“Don’t worry about anything. I want everyone to see what happens when they offend Mr. Ted!” Louvell’s self-cultivation had completely broken down as anger took over his face.
Louvell’s words excited Demarien instantly, “What are you waiting for, Arkell? Go beat that guy up!”
Arkell coldly nodded and signaled the other two men in suits. The three of them touched the items at their waists and walked toward the table where Leo and Willow were seated.
Demarien swaggered along behind Arkell and the others. As he approached Leo, he proudly and arrogantly shouted, “You actually have the leisure to dine here with my woman. Wait until you’re a useless piece of trash; let’s see if you dare to still flirt with my woman!”
Leo had already stood up from his seat, shielding Willow behind him.
Just as Arkell and his two companions were about to draw their weapons, Louvell, who stood behind Demarien, suddenly exclaimed, “Mr. Bloomer!?”
