As the knife was about to pierce Leo’s abdomen, Demarien suddenly felt a blur in his vision, followed by a heart-wrenching scream of pain.
Leo stood still in his place, with the spring knife that was originally in Demarien’s right hand now embedded in Demarien’s left arm for some reason.
After the scream, seeing his left arm covered in blood, Demarien turned pale with fear and collapsed onto the ground.
Looking at Demarien’s miserable state, Leo pretended to be surprised and said, “Are you crazy? Why would you stab yourself with a knife?”
“This guy looks careless but he is actually ruthless. He got so angry that he even stabbed himself!”
“I think he is insane. Does he really think stabbing himself will scare others?”
“If someone uses a knife on themselves at our school, will our school be responsible for it?”
“Of course not! It wasn’t someone from our school who stabbed him!”
The teachers and students watching were once again surprised and discussing what had happened. They didn’t really understand what had happened; they only knew that when Demarien tried to stab Leo with a knife, the spring-loaded blade ended up piercing into his own arm instead.
To be honest, even as he sat on the ground groaning in pain, Demarien was confused. He clearly wanted to stab Leo – how did it end up being him getting stabbed instead?
“You must have done something tricky!” With one hand still clutching onto his injured arm and gasping for air due to pain, Demarien accused Leo hoarsely.
Leo put on an innocent expression as he shrugged, “Don’t slander me like that! Everyone here saw it – you used your own knife against yourself.”
“Leo is right. We all saw it – you used your own knife against yourself.”
“After losing so much blood and yet still having energy to argue here… this person is truly an idiot.”
The words from the students and teachers served as a reminder for Demarien. He extended his right hand, angrily pointing at Leo, “I’m telling you clearly, you’ve just stirred up big trouble.”
After saying this, Demarien gritted his teeth, got up from the ground, and then ran towards the school gate.
“Mr. Bloomer, thank you,” Willow expressed her gratitude to Leo, then went to the pharmacy to get a mop, preparing to clean up Demarien’s bloodstains on the floor.
Leo took the mop from her hand, saying, “I’ll handle it.”
After Leo cleaned up the bloodstains, Willow hesitated for a moment before softly saying to Leo, “Mr. Bloomer, do you have some free time? I’d like to invite you for a meal.”
If it weren’t for Leo’s help today, she didn’t know how far that troublemaker Demarien would have gone.
Demarien had been bothering her for over a month now like a piece of chewed-up gum that just wouldn’t come off.
Willow had reported him to the police before but since Demarien was only harassing her and not committing any crimes, they could only give him a warning.
After the police left, Demarien went back to his old ways again.
Leo looked at his watch and thought about it. He didn’t have anything else going on so he nodded and said, “Sure. It’s lunchtime anyway. Let’s go.”
As they walked out of the school gates together, they attracted quite a few passing students’ attention.
“Mr. Bloomer, what do you feel like eating?” Willow asked casually.
“I’m not familiar with this area either. You recommend something,” replied Leo.
Willow thought for a moment before saying, “Then let’s go to Sunlit Haven. It’s not far from here and their food is pretty good.”
Not far from the school gate, the sound of screeching brakes filled the air, and three cars pulled over. The doors swung open, and the occupants poured out.
“Zakari, it’s this guy. You’ve got to help me kill him!” A sharp and malicious voice rang out, and the speaker was none other than Demarien, who had been dealt with by Leo earlier.
Demarien, with his injured left arm bandaged after some basic medical treatment, was now accompanied by around ten burly men. They all wore identical black tank tops with the embroidered words “Fierce Tiger Boxing Gym” on the left chest.
Seeing this menacing group, Willow’s face changed, and she couldn’t help but push Leo, whispering, “Mr. Bloomer, you need to run!”
“Ms. Calder, don’t worry. I haven’t put these guys in my eyes yet,” Leo smiled indifferently, speaking with confidence.
Over a dozen men immediately surrounded Leo and Willow.
The bald leader of the group fixed his gaze on Leo’s face and menacingly said, “Did you stab Mr. Ted’s arm with a knife?”
Leo shook his head with a smile, “It’s Mr. Ted who couldn’t figure things out and stabbed himself.”
“Rubbish!” The bald man cursed angrily, reaching out with his iron-like hand to grab Leo’s collar.
Leo acted lightning fast, grabbing the bald man’s two fingers and twisting them sharply.
There was a crisp crack as the bones in the bald man’s fingers broke.
“Ah…!”
The bald man screamed in pain, looking at his two broken fingers hanging limply from his right hand. He roared, “Damn it all! Let’s get him and kill him!”
The rest of the bald man’s men gathered around, shouting and rushing towards Leo.
Leo calmly pushed Willow aside before stepping forward to meet them.
Then something strange happened.
Leo seemed to blur slightly as he took on more than ten burly men one after another. They fell one by one to the ground either clutching their chests or holding their thighs while wailing in agony.
This scene greatly stimulated the nerves of the bald man and Demarien, causing their faces to turn deathly pale, and cold sweat dripped continuously from their foreheads.
This… this guy’s speed and attack power are too terrifying, too frightening…
The bald man, understanding the wisdom of not pushing one’s luck, wasted no time and turned around, fleeing almost without hesitation.
Stunned, Demarien, seeing the bald man run away, dared not stay for another second. He also turned around and ran.
However, Demarien had barely taken a few steps when he suddenly collided with something with a “thud.” He then sat down, holding his forehead, in pain.
When he raised his head, he saw Leo mysteriously appearing in front of him.
Demarien, trembling with fear, quickly got up from the ground. Ignoring everything, he ran to the right.
But just like before, as he ran a few steps, Leo’s body once again appeared mysteriously in front of him.
Ghost!
This guy must be a ghost!
Demarien’s legs went weak, and he fell to the ground again, his eyes filled with terror.
“What, what do you want!? I, I’ll tell you, I’m Louvell’s nephew!” Although Demarien’s courage had been shattered, in order to prevent further harm, he quickly brought up the name of Louvell.
