Derrick replied without hesitation, “Miss Browne, I can’t stand this kind of scheming woman.”
Renee nodded and didn’t try to save Mila.
Renee knew Mila, but their relationship wasn’t as close as best friends.
After Mila showed her dislike for Leo, Renee decided to end their already weak relationship.
Twenty minutes later, Mila’s father Kelford Dorothy arrived sweating profusely.
When Kelford saw Bob and Chasel, he didn’t ask what happened and immediately scolded Mila.
After Kelford finished scolding her, Bob put down his fork and poured him a bowl of white wine. “Mr. Dorothy, take a break and have a drink.”
Kelford wanted to slap Mila dead. After drinking the wine in the bowl, he was sure he would need to go to the hospital. But if he didn’t drink it… he’d still probably end up in the hospital anyway.
Finally, Kelford had no choice but to grit his teeth and finish the wine in his bowl before apologizing with a smile, “Mr. Abe, she doesn’t know any better. If she did something wrong please let me know your demands so that I can satisfy you.”
Bob sneered coldly then filled another whole bowl with wine, “Are you suggesting that I am trying to extort money from you?”
Kelford’s scalp went numb; quickly saying, “Mr. Abe, you’ve misunderstood me.”
“What do you mean then?” asked Bob with a smile while looking at the wine in front of them both.
Kelford looked miserable; after finishing one bowl of alcohol just now, his throat felt like it was on fire, and now there was another one!
Summoning up courage, Kelofrd picked up his cup again and drank it all at once causing an intense burning sensation in his throat afterwards.
“Mr. Dorothy, you know what they say about teaching children properly so they won’t make mistakes? Go home and discipline your daughter well or next time you might not be so lucky,” said Bob calmly playing with his glass cup.
Relieved, Kelofrd breathed out slowly before saying hastily, “You’re right Mr. Abe, I’ll definitely discipline her when we get back home.”
Mila left the hot pot restaurant sulking alongside her father.
In the car, Mila blamed everything on Leo, hating him more than ever before.
“Leo, you wait for me. I will make sure you die miserably!”Mila said through gritted teeth.
After Derrick ate enough food, he disappeared without any explanation.
During dinner, Derrick noticed that Renee’s attitude towards Leo was unusual, so he knew he wouldn’t be a bothersome third wheel.
“Leo, it looks like you have to take me home,” Renee said with a seductive smile.
Leo gestured his hand in invitation. “Please, Renee.”
Currently, Leo and Renee were considered neighbors because both of their families lived in the Cloud Dream Mountain villa area.

At the foot of Votmere Mountain in Orientia
A mansion spanning over ten thousand square meters sat on top of a hill surrounded by hundreds of hectares of cherry blossom forests. Pink petals danced through the air creating an incredibly beautiful sight.
The entire estate consisted only of wooden bungalows typical to Orientia’s architectural style. The landscape was adorned with mountains and hot springs as well as autumn leaves. Across from the estate stood Votmere Mountain covered in snow year-round.
This peaceful and beautiful place served as headquarters for the Harumitsu family.
Two figures sat opposite each other inside a central wooden cabin at a low table with warm tea emitting fragrant aromas. Outside the cabin lay a clear spring pond.
The two kneeling individuals were an elderly man and young woman respectively dressed in traditional Orientian clothing. The old man had white hair and serene features but his deep-set eyes revealed traces of life experiences that seemed too numerous to count yet also contained sharpness within their depths.
Having just finished discussing something together, they fell into brief silence before Kuki lifted up his cup filled with warm tea from the table taking small sips while looking directly at Maniwa who knelt across from him showing respect on her face.
“Atraria Onmyoji has finally reappeared,” Kuki said while flashing light through his profound gaze.
“Yes grandfather,” Maniwa nodded respectfully back.
The elderly man was none other than the current leader of the Harumitsu family, the acclaimed business legend of Orientia, Kuki.
Kuki single-handedly built the vast and powerful conglomerate that was the Harumitsu family, securing its position among the world’s major financial giants. His achievements were recorded in global financial textbooks, and the name Kuki was widely known throughout Orientia.
“Maniwa, you’ve done exceptionally well this time, uncovering such crucial secrets for our family,” Kuki said, looking at Maniwa with a trace of satisfaction in his eyes.
The emergence of the Atraria Onmyoji in the mortal realm presented a significant opportunity for the Harumitsu family. If they could obtain the true essence of Yin-Yang Spellcraft and integrate it into the family’s ninjutsu, the Harumitsu family’s strength would undoubtedly surpass the other two major families, making them the premier family in Orientia.
“Grandfather, there are too many secrets surrounding that Atraria person. One of the martial arts sects under him has fresh air, abundant vitality, and landscapes even more beautiful than our estate,” Maniwa added.
“More beautiful than here?” Kuki was slightly surprised.
The Harumitsu family’s estate was already considered the most beautiful in Orientia. With just a slight turn of his head, Kuki could see Votmere Mountain standing tall under the blue sky through the open wooden gate.
“Yes, grandfather. But that’s not important. According to Yuriko and Sakai, just standing there without practicing can improve their ninja power,” Maniwa continued.
“In addition, Yuriko said that if she practices there for about three years or so, she is likely to break through as a powerful Earth Ninja.”
Maniwa’s words made Kuki raise an eyebrow slightly before calming down immediately.
With Kuki’s intelligence he naturally understood what this meant.
It was extremely difficult for a Human Ninja to advance as an Earth Ninja; if Yuriko dared say this, then she must have great confidence in her abilities which showed how extraordinary that martial arts school really was.
If the Harumitsu family could occupy it and let their ninjas practice inside, then they would undoubtedly make rapid progress in strength even without obtaining Yin-Yang Spellcraft’s true essence; within two or three years, they might be able to surpass both other major families.
“Grandfather, according to Yuriko’s analysis, there exists an array formation which has abundant spiritual energy which helps improve ninja power,” Maniwa added.
This time Kuki couldn’t help but show surprise on his face, “Array formation?”
Orientia Ninjutsu primarily originated from the Atraria Onmyoji’s Yin-Yang Spellcraft. In addition, it incorporated some of Atraria Taoist spells and sealing techniques. However, when it came to the profound art of formation spells, there was little knowledge available.
