Just as Leo was about to teach Naheim a lesson, Alvin appeared.
“Mr. Bloomer, I’m sorry I’m late,” Alvin quickly apologized to Leo in a low voice.
Leo remained silent with a cold expression on his face.
“What’s going on?” Alvin looked at Naheim and asked coldly.
Alvin’s appearance made Naheim nervous. But after thinking for a moment, he realized that he was a valuable employee that Alvin had paid good money for. He knew that Alvin valued his abilities and wouldn’t punish him because of one useless employee like Ron. At most, he would just scold him.
“Alvin, it’s nothing serious,” Naheim forced himself to smile and said.
When Alvin saw Ron with bruises all over his face, his heart sank. Doreen and her son were personally arranged by Leo to work in the factory. How could this blind fool like Naheim dare to bully them?
“Naheim, come with me to the office,” Alvin said coldly.
Naheim felt relieved when he heard this because getting scolded in the office wasn’t as embarrassing as being punished publicly. It seemed like Alvin still cared about saving face for him.
Following behind Alvin proudly, Naheim straightened up his back.
Leo told Doreen, “Doreen, take Ron to the hospital for treatment first before taking two days off from work.”
Doreen looked hesitant, “Mr. Bloomer, I don’t want to trouble you anymore. After you leave, Naheim will definitely make things difficult for us again.”
Leo smiled and said, “Don’t worry, from today onwards , Naheim won’t be seen around here anymore. If anyone dares bully you or Ron again, they will be fired immediately.”
Fired immediately?
Doreen was shocked; she never thought that Leo had such great power within Herbal Magic Cosmetics Company.
The employees who were watching sneered after hearing what Leo had just said; many of them knew that Naheim was hired by paying high price by Alvin from another factory so how could they fire him just because of Doreen!
“Don’t brag so much! How can you have personnel appointment power in our company? You are talking big without fear of being exposed!”
Leo calmly smiled, “Whether or not he gets fired, you’ll find out soon enough.”
After giving some instructions to Doreen, Leo turned around and headed towards Alvin’s office.
In the manager’s office…
Naheim smiled and said, “Alvin, thank you. I was a bit impulsive in this matter, but we can’t have someone like that fool around the factory all day and tarnish our image.”
“Naheim, you can leave now,” Alvin said flatly.
“Okay, I’ll go back to the production area to guide production.”
Naheim thought Alvin meant for him to go back to work.
“What I mean is for you to get out of Herbal Magic Cosmetics Company,” Alvin’s tone became dark.
Naheim’s face twitched twice. He laughed and said, “Alvin, don’t joke with me. I won’t do something like this again.”
“There won’t be a next time,” Alvin shook his head. This idiot probably had shit for brains.
Seeing that Alvin wasn’t joking anymore made Naheim panic. “Alvin…”
Before Naheim could finish speaking, Leo walked in through the door.
Naheim frowned at Leo’s arrival. Although he had a good relationship with Alvin, he didn’t have the right to interfere with internal affairs at Herbal Magic Cosmetics Company.
“What are you here for?” Naheim asked displeasedly.
Leo walked up to the desk and sat directly in Alvin’s seat without hesitation.
This action made Naheim angry! How dare he sit in Alvin’s seat so casually?
“You’re shameless! You should feel lucky that Alvin considers you a friend!” Naheim scolded coldly.
“Friend?” Leo smiled faintly and asked Alvin, “Are we friends?”
Nahiem’s words had already turned Alvin’s face iron blue as he quickly told Leo, “Mr. Bloomer, I’m not qualified enough to be your friend.”
Leo looked at Nahiem and shrugged his shoulders saying, “Did you hear that? He isn’t qualified enough enough to be my friend.”
Nahiem was completely confused by this statement – who exactly was this guy?
“Alvin, do you want me help teach this ungrateful guy a lesson?” Nahiem persisted.
“You stupid son of bitch, how dumb are you?” Alvin’s teeth were clenched tight from anger. There was no way someone like Nahiem would ever dream of teaching Leo anything!
“Why are you afraid of what he might do?” Naheim asked curiously.
Alvin glanced at Leo, his heart trembling with fear. He couldn’t let Naheim continue to spout nonsense like this, otherwise the consequences would be unimaginable if he was implicated by this fool.
“Mr. Bloomer, I have already fired Naheim,” Alvin quickly said.
Leo stood up from his chair and patted Alvin’s shoulder, “He is your subordinate, how you handle it is up to you. Anyway, I don’t want to see this kind of trash in Herbal Magic anymore. And that woman named Wendy should also be dealt with.”
“Okay Mr. Bloomer, don’t worry, I will handle it properly,” Alvin replied quickly.
As Leo left the factory manager’s office, he clearly heard Naheim begging on his knees behind him…
After leaving Herbal Magic, Leo drove to Harmony Mall.
After buying a belt and coming out of a leather goods store, just as Leo was walking towards the parking lot direction, his shoulder was lightly tapped by someone from behind.
“Leo!” A woman’s voice sounded from behind him.
Leo turned around and saw Renee and her girlfriend standing in front of him.
Renee’s girlfriend wore a light blue dress that wasn’t as good-looking as Renee but had an especially eye-catching figure.
“Renee, who is he?” Renee’s friend looked at Leo up and down before asking curiously.
Renee introduced, “He is my friend named Leo.”
“Leo…” Mila Dorothy made an effort to recall before suddenly exclaiming, “I remember now! He is the Henley family’s son-in-law! I’ve seen his picture in City Entertainment News!”
Knowing about Leo’s identity made Mila lose all her good feelings towards him.
At the same time she couldn’t understand why Renee would greet someone like Leo on the street without worrying about losing face?
Mila gave a disgusted look at Leo then took hold of Renee’s hand saying, “Renee, we’ve been shopping all day long and our feet are sore now. Shall we find a milk tea shop?”
Mila actually wanted to separate herself from Leo early so she wouldn’t be seen meeting with such notorious waste son-in-law by outsiders.
“Leo, how about treating me and Mila some milk tea?” Rene smiled brightly while suggesting so.
