Chapter 840 Ugly Heart

Book:The All-powerful Son-In-Law Published:2024-6-3

“Mr. Bloomer…” Doreen turned around and saw Leo’s icy face.
Although Leo didn’t know what had happened, he saw the injuries on Ron’s body.
“What’s going on?” Leo asked in a deep voice.
Doreen was about to speak, but she couldn’t say anything.
She suddenly realized a problem, that even if Leo helped her today, it wouldn’t be useful because he couldn’t help her every time she was bullied. She couldn’t keep relying on him.
“Who are you? You’re not an employee here. This has nothing to do with you. Get out of here!” Wendy sneered at Leo.
“Doreen, tell me what happened and I’ll help you.” Ignoring Wendy, Leo asked Doreen again.
Wendy laughed, “You want to help her? Are you trying to make me laugh? Where did this crazy person come from? Are you also mentally challenged like Ron?”
“Slap!”
Leo directly slapped Wendy in the face, “You have no right to speak here!”
Wendy couldn’t believe it as she covered her face. How dare this guy hit her!
“What are you all waiting for? Can’t you see he hit me?” Wendy shouted at the two security guards.
The two security guards looked at each other and rushed towards Leo from both sides.
In just two seconds, both security guards were lying on the ground groaning in pain.
“Doreen, now can you tell me what happened?” Leo looked back at Doreen again.
Doreen didn’t expect that Leo would be so powerful. After coldly glancing at Wendy with her eyes again, she told him what had happened.
Meanwhile, Wendy took advantage of the situation and ran straight into Naheim’s office.
Naheim was coaxing his girlfriend over the phone when he saw panicked Wendy rush in without knocking. “Why didn’t you knock before coming in?” He said unhappily.
“Naheim, Doreen’s helper is here. He beat up our security guard!” Wendy said anxiously.
Naheim frowned. How could Doreen have a helper?
He still can’t figure out why such an old woman who only knew how to clean came to work there with a mentally challenged son.
“I’ll go check it out.” Naheim left his office with a stern expression on his face.
After learning about everything that had occurred, Leo comforted Doreen, “Don’t worry, Doreen. With me around, no one will bully either of you or Ron.”
When Naheim saw Leo, his neck involuntarily shrank down.
He had met Leo before, although he didn’t know his exact background and identity. But one thing was for sure: Alvin, the factory owner, was very polite to him.
“Who are you?” Naheim wasn’t stupid. He didn’t want to offend this guy until he figured out his relationship with Alvin.
Leo asked back, “Who are you?”
“I’m Naheim, the production supervisor of Herbal Magic Cosmetics Company,” Naheim replied loudly.
“Oh, a production supervisor? What would you do if your subordinates bully their colleagues?” Leo asked coldly.
Naheim’s mind raced. This guy knew Alvin. If things got back to him, it would be trouble.
“This is an internal matter of our factory. You have no right to interfere,” Naheim argued in front of so many colleagues as he tried not to lose face against Leo.
“If you don’t handle it properly, then let Alvin handle it,” Leo took out his phone threateningly.
Naheim panicked and quickly said, “It’s just a small matter; there’s no need to bother Alvin about this. I’ll take care of it.”
Leo looked at Wendy behind Naheim and said, “Then ask the woman behind you why she slandered Ron.”
Wendy became unhappy when she heard this question because she thought that Naheim could protect her from any accusations against her character or actions. She became arrogant and said, “What makes you say that I slandered him? That idiot Ron has been peeking at me countless times already! As beautiful as I am – my natural beauty causes men like Ron react instinctively – not only did he touch me but also tore my stockings!”
Leo sneered, “Hasn’t anyone told you how ugly and disgusting-looking you are?”
“You dare say that I look ugly?! Are your eyes blind?!” Wendy shouted while jumping up and down in anger.
Naheim’s expression was uncomfortable like someone who had eaten feces; under normal circumstances nobody dared act arrogantly in front of him but, with Leo, things were different because his relationship with Alvin was extraordinary.
After thinking for a moment or two, Nahiem gritted his teeth, turned around and slapped Wendy across the face.
There were no other options left except making Wendy take responsibility for what happened.
“Why did you slander Ron?” Nahiem questioned coldly while looking directly into her eyes.
Wendy covered her face with both hands looking shocked by what just happened!
This incident had been instructed by Nahiem himself but now instead helping her get away from trouble, he actually accused her!
“Nahiem, why did you hit me?” Wendy yelled loudly trying desperately to defend herself.
Naheim gave Wendy a wink and said, “Explain the situation clearly, and I’ll let you off the hook.”
Wendy didn’t understand why Naheim was afraid of this guy who seemed to have come out of nowhere. She noticed Naheim’s signal and stuttered, “I… I…”
“What do you mean ‘I’? Spit it out and explain everything!” Naheim demanded coldly.
Wendy knew that if she didn’t take the blame for this, Naheim would hold a grudge against her. She could also benefit from taking responsibility for him now and use it to blackmail him in the future.
Finally, Wendy gritted her teeth and said, “I don’t want to work in the same environment as Doreen and her idiot son. That’s why I intentionally tore my stockings to frame Ron as a pervert. I wanted them both out of Herbal Magic!”
The colleagues watching were stunned by what they heard. Although they also despised Ron, framing an intellectually disabled child like this was too much.
“Apologize to Ron and Doreen,” Naheim ordered sternly.
Wendy walked up to Doreen and Ron with deep bows before saying apologetically, “Sorry.”
Leo frowned deeply when he saw Wendy’s faint smile while apologizing.
Because he saw through Wendy’s insincerity when she apologized.
Leo walked up to Ron then squatted down pointing at Naheim asking, “Has he ever bullied you or asked you do anything?”
Ron timidly raised his head but quickly lowered it again after glancing at Naheim.
Leo saw fear in Ron’s eyes.
“Don’t be afraid, Ron. Tell me anything, you can trust me. I will speak on your behalf.” Leo reassured him.
Ron had been saved by Leo once before so he trusted Leo very much. He lowered his head saying, “He made me perform dog barks for him, but mom told me that I’m human, I shouldn’t kneel down casually learning how dogs bark.”
Hearing this, Nahiem’s face changed drastically. He yelled at Ron, “What bullshit are you talking about? When did I ask you learn how to bark?”
Naheim’s loud voice scared Ron’s body shaking all over. He quickly hid behind Doreen, daring not say another word.
Leo understood what happened today even though it was started by Wendy. Naheim was actually the real culprit here.
