I moved towards the lake passing the long green grasses. I can feel those grasses swiftly touching me through my clothes. And it made me remember the fur of Beast. That was so warm and soft and cozy. I could have live my whole life sitting on his fur.
As I move forward I was seeing the blue and calm lake in front of me. I remembered the yesterday’s play. I played a lot in this lake with Beast. I was like splashing water on him again and again. And he too did it. Like jumping on his two front legs and splashing water on me. We really had a lot fun yesterday. I forgot that I was attacked by some weird creature while being with Beast.
But today Beast was not here. I don’t where he was. Was he still upset or what? I was standing alone in this beautiful and huge lake.

I tried calling him but there was no response. There was not even a bit of movement anywhere near. I started moving forward with hope that he’ll be somewhere here. I moved here I moved there. I shouted for him but still he was not here.
I feel so bad. I don’t know where he was. And I’ve searched where I thought he could be. Maybe this wasn’t the place where he resides. Maybe he was somewhere else.
But what if he is here and don’t want to meet me? What if he isn’t coming in front of me because I asked for some answers that definitely was not his responsibility or related to him?
I know he was one of those creatures because he too had turned into a human in front of me. I don’t know what this creatures even were and why they were showing in front of me again and again. Were they magicians? Or were they monsters like in the movies? Maybe a mutant like the drama my amazing boyfriend 2 ? Whatever they were but they were in form of human and could change themselves as their wish.
But the problem wasn’t that they exist, the problem was why they were again and again showing up in front of me and to be very exact they were literally trying to kill me. It was happening and happening . I think if this continues I was going to be inside the lap of earth before my eithteenth birthday.
If Beast wouldn’t be here I would have been already dead. I became afraid of other creatures but not him. I felt something inside me is there that made me feel no like he won’t harm you and I believed it and it was right. Beast never harmed me. Maybe this is why I asked him if he could help me to sort whatever was going on. But o made a mistake. I guess he didn’t want to came to help me. Maybe he didn’t want to reveal himself to me which was necessary to answer my questions.
While thinking this and that it was already 5 and soon it will be getting dark and I was in the middle of the forest . I can’t find him today. Maybe I’ll come another time. But today I need to go back now.
I got up. And looked all around for last time before leaving. I wasn’t in the best mood because what I thought didn’t happened and I couldn’t meet beast.
Anyhow I got back to the apartment before the darkness took over . When I got back I saw Cami wasn’t still there.
“Are you coming today? ” I messaged her.
Then I changed my clothes and freshen myself. When i got back to room I saw my mobile was lit up. I went there and pick it up. There was a unseen message from Cami.
“I’ll came after we had dinner ”
So, it was all me today. Dinner was all mine, kitchen was all mine. How I hate eating alone. It sucks. But still I need to fill myself up.
I went to the kitchen and opened the freeze. There was not much inside. There was indrigrents for baked beans so I didn’t think much thought and made it.
It was dinner for only one, so it was quick. I had my dinner and went to do the dishes. While I was doing dishes I hear a roar of car down the apartment. Maybe Cami and Ethan were here. I do the dishes and cleaned the kitchen quickly.
While I was done, I went outside of the kitchen then the apartment door opened . It was them for real. I went to Cami for a hug. I looked at them and they both were so happy.
“Riley, I got your BFF safely back to you ” Ethan says looking at me.
“Keep her safely till I came for her. ” He said as he looked at Cami.
“What? ” I was confused. What was he saying? Coming for her?
“Bye Cami ” Ethan hugged Cami and kissed her forehead. In that Cami blushes so much.
“What’s going on? ” I looked at them confused. They were friends at the morning and now they are acting as a couple.
“Bye Riley ” Ethan waved at me and got out of the apartment leaving me in confusion.
I took me a while to came back to my senses. What was going on?
I dragged Cami to the room. I make her sat on the bed as I sat on its edge. I took a deep breath and calmed myself then I busted out “What the heck is going on? ”
She tried to got up. I again forced her from shoulder and made her sit on the bed.
“First, tell me why did he kissed you? What is going on…. You two were friends and now suddenly you guys are acting like couple. ” I asked her
“He… ”
“And you didn’t stop him from kissing. Instead you blushed. ” I cut her off and started blabbering again.
“Will you let me speak …” she said making her eyes bigger. ” If you don’t want me to speak then keep blabbering ”
“OK tell me ” I said closing my mouth with my both hands.
“He…. He proposed me. ” she said. I was amazed by what she said.
“I thought it was a meet up with his friends but it wasn’t… He proposed me today. He liked me from the beginning and me too… I know he was … i mean I liked him and today he made this official. ” I was listening.
And she continued… ” You know what? When I got there there was a beautiful set up at a beautiful hill top. You know his friends were there too. And his brother too was there. First it was just meeting with each other. And in a while everyone got up and went to a side…. I didn’t knew what was happening then he got on his knees. Look he got me a beautiful ring “0 she showed me her ring.
“I didn’t ever thought he would propose me… I mean i wanted him to but you know we liked each other from the very start and he didn’t have to propose me. Because I knew he would… ” She looked at me.
I was listening silently. I was happy for her but…
“Aren’t you happy for me? What happened? Why are you so… So silent? ” She asked me shaking my shoulder.
I shook my head and looked at her. There was nothing that I think or I should hide with her. I could talk to her even if I want to say no…
“Cami… It’s not like I’m not happy for you. I’m just concerned for you. OK? Don’t get me wrong but you guys have just met and love is a big commitment. It’s okay being friends, it’s okay dating each other but why so fast…? You could have get to know each other Lil more, right ?”
She stared at me and keep staring.
” Cami, you know I won’t wish bad for you. It’s just… It’s just you met him just a while ago and you are in a committed relationship with him. What if, what if he isn’t as he seem or what if he hurt you or left you… What if he is a bad guy.. What if he didn’t love… ”
She pulled me into a hug. She made it tight and whispered ” It’s okay Let. I know you are just worried for me. I know how much you love me. And i know you don’t want me to get hurt or anything. I know OK? I know what you are worrying about ”
She released her hug and hold me from my shoulders.
” Ley, I love him. You know that you and I never been in a relationship because we were waiting for that love, we were waiting for that special person to come, right? We saved ourselves for a special right? ” she asked me.
