We reached a villa outside the city area after hours of traveling. At first, Liam had wanted to take me for a honeymoon making an excuse that he wanted to punish me alone by taking me somewhere else. But who would have thought that Barbara wouldn’t accept this thought and instead, she would end up being suspicious of us? She even sent a spy after us!
Even after hours of traveling through a deserted path, the black Audi still followed us, making it crystal clear as to why that car wanted to keep coming after us. But I pretended that car didn’t exist and continued to sleep my way through the entire time. I would have to act frightened and make it seem like I hated Liam from the depths of my heart after getting out of the car. This would be mentally exhausting. It was a better option to take a rest for a few hours.
But once stopped, I groggily woke up, rubbing my eyes. I yawned as a groan escaped my lips. “Now we have to act again. Great!” I glared at Liam. “What’s the point of coming down here if we still have to act like that?”
He sighed and pursed his lips, still looking at the black Audi that stopped a little away. “This way, Barbara won’t be able to make you angry.” Then he glanced at me. “And we have to teach you to control your power for the time being.”
“But what about that spy?” I pointed at the car behind us.
“Let him be.” Liam unlocked his seatbelt. “He won’t be able to enter the villa.”
I was confused by this sentence. I didn’t know what kind of protection layer Liam had applied at this villa. By looking at it, this place looked more like a big two storey house in a horror movie surrounded by trees. Even the gate was covered with pines. I narrowed my eyes and doubted the ability of this dark place to protect against the spy.
But soon I realized that what Liam had said was true. This place did protect us after all. As soon as we entered, the car paused for a moment until we disappeared inside the gate before coming toward us. But before they could enter the boundary of the gate, the electricity sparkled, making the car stop in an instant. The driver seemed to be surprised, and he increased the accelerator, but the car didn’t budge.
I looked at the entire phenomenon from the car and let out a surprised gasp. “Why can’t they enter?”
“That’s because this place was specially designed for the royal family. Only people with father’s blood running inside them can enter.” He paused for a bit and continued. “He had found a magician to create such a barrier around this place.”
“But how did I enter?” I tilted my head and watched the car still struggling at the gate.
“That’s because you had previously sucked my blood and it mixed with yours to create a completely unique bloodline.” He turned around to glance at me. “Isn’t that how your power skyrocketed suddenly?”
My face heated at the reminder of the moment when I had sucked his blood in the car after marriage. I averted my head and tried to hide my blushing face.
Just like that, once we entered the place, the spy’s eyes couldn’t follow us anymore, and he ended up being frustrated. I could hear his loud curse from the distance as I closed the door behind me. Just as I closed, Liam suddenly stopped and pinned me on the door.
I was surprised by this attack and glanced at him in confusion. “What…”
“There’s no third person in this place.” He muttered softly against my lips. “We can do whatever we want.”
Thump. Thump. The second sentence made my heartbeat faster against my chest. My lips parted as tongue slipped over the bottom lip, licking the area. But who would’ve thought that the tip of the tongue nearly touched Liam’s lips? Just as he sensed my soft touch, he acted instantly, grabbing my tongue between his lips, sucking it.
I was stunned and reacted the next second, kissing him back. After a long time of smooching, sucking, and licking each other, we parted and gasped for air.
“Let’s go to the bedroom.” He said against my lips and kissed again before picking me up on his shoulders.

We spent three whole days inside this old building without any intention of getting out. Outside, I glanced at the car just outside the boundary wall with two men in black with black goggles staring intently at the main door. Their eyes that stared at the invisible were so frightening that I couldn’t help but shiver and shut off the windows with the curtains.
And everytime the curtains would close, Liam would be lurking behind me, punishing me with a high dose of sex in the name of bring distracted from my “magic practicing sessions”.
I had originally come to this place to practice my magic and control myself. After continuously practicing for 3 days, I was able to get a hang of it. Even though I would still go rampant, I could at least maintain my consciousness. Earlier, I used to be so blinded by my thirst and hunger for blood that I would forget who I was attacking. But now, I was conscious enough to run away and release my power in an empty space.
This was a huge step toward stability. Even though it couldn’t remove my problem from the root, I had confidence that I wouldn’t kill anyone from this moment. Not until I was angered to the point of having killing intent for other people.
But there was a difference when controlling myself before Liam knowing he would suppress me and controlling myself in front of someone who was angering me to death. I really had no confidence to be conscious enough to not kill random people in the later scenario.
The third night, I kept thinking about my power with furrowed brows. Liam had slept while keeping his arms around my waist. His face was closer to my neck as his hot breath fanned my skin, but I couldn’t focus on that at all.
I was worried that if I were to encounter an enemy, would I be able to save the situation even after going on a rampage? I really didn’t want to kill another person again and make things difficult for my husband.
My fingers traced his cold hands that tightened around me, but he didn’t wake up. Sighing, I closed my eyes and tried to count sheep to get some sleep. But no matter how much I tried, I stayed wide awake.
Peeling his arms off of me, I got up from bed in frustration. What’s the point of staying on the bed when I was wide awake? Shaking my head, I walked toward the kitchen to drink some water.
The entire corridor was engulfed in darkness. Pin drop silence surrounded me that made the night creepier. I knew people outside were still there, waiting for us to cross the border of the main gate.
I shouldn’t think about those men in black! Shaking my head, I opened the fridge and took out the bottle. Just as my fingers touched the cap, I heard a loud noise of something crashing. I jerked as the bottle filled with water fell on the floor. If the cap was off, it would’ve spilled on the floor. But I wasn’t too worried about it. I ran toward the window and squinted my eyes.
Everything was dark outside, but the direction where the car was there was covered with yellowish light as if something was burning. I frowned at that. Since I was on the ground floor, I couldn’t see what was beyond the boundary wall because of the height of the walls. But I knew that was where the men in black were standing.
Why did it suddenly start burning? What was that sound? I tried to remember what type of sound it was and suddenly realised that it felt almost like a crash.
I was surprised at that. Without thinking twice, I ran outside to take a look. But just as I was about to take a step outside the border, I halted my steps and froze after seeing the scene before me.
In front of me, two men stood, pointing guns at me. Seeing the guns, a wave of fear flooded my heart as I widened my eyes. I took a step back and stumbled, falling on the ground. But my eyes were still on the gun. I stared at the weapon unblinkingly.
