“How the hell do you possess and use talismans?” Even the experienced Darcy Bush couldn’t help but be surprised at Leo’s tactics.
“A dead man doesn’t need to know these things,” Leo sneered at Darcy Bush.
“Kid, don’t think having talismans gives you free rein. Today, I’ll show you the power of my Fiery Blaze Sect!” Darcy Bush snorted.
Darcy Bush’s entire body surged, his aura exploding as a master who had reached the pinnacle of the Advanced Martial Master realm.
“Fierce Flame Shadow!” With Darcy Bush’s command, his body transformed into multiple shadows resembling flames, all rushing towards Leo.
Leo faced this without fear; he knew it was just a visual deception created by a martial artist’s internal energy.
“Qi Blade, Swift!” Leo pinched his right hand and pushed forward. Over a dozen Qi blades condensed in mid-air.
As Darcy Bush’s shadows attacked, the Qi blades shattered the illusions and then struck at Darcy Bush’s real body.
In a panic, Darcy Bush rapidly circulated his inner strength, consecutively clapping out Black Fire Palms, attempting to disperse the Qi blades.
A cold smile played on Leo’s lips. He manipulated his right hand to form a fist and struck the ground. “Earth Spike, Pardon!”
Simultaneously with Darcy Bush dispelling the Qi blades, sharp spikes suddenly protruded from the ground beneath his feet. Startled, Darcy Bush leaped into the air, realizing that if he had reacted a bit slower, he might have lost his life.
Fearful of the spikes, Darcy Bush dared not land back on the ground. Initially planning to jump and use the leverage to get onto the tree, his distraction caused him to misjudge the force and angle. His skull collided with the trunk of a maple tree.
With a muffled bang, Darcy Bush’s head broke the trunk. He then fell to the ground, a large bump forming on his head. In pain and embarrassment, he grimaced.
Violet, who was watching the fight, couldn’t help but clap and laugh. “Master Jennifer, this Sect Master of the Fiery Blaze Sect is just stupid. If he can’t beat Leo, he jumps into a tree. Haha…”
As the Sect Master of the Fiery Blaze Sect, Darcy Bush found himself in such a pitiful state for the first time. To add insult to injury, he heard mocking laughter from a little girl.
“You brat, today, you’re done for!” Darcy Bush gritted his teeth.
“Or let me send you to hell first,” Leo said, forming hand seals, and dozens of Qi blades gathered before him.
“Qi Blade Storm, Swift!” The Qi blades, like a giant net, with sharp sonic booms, attacked Darcy Bush.
“Fierce Fire Shield!” Darcy Bush shouted, mobilizing his inner strength. A fiery red shield enveloped his entire body.
The Qi blades struck the shield, causing a series of explosions but failing to break through.
Brian, who had fallen to the side, had already taken a hemostatic pill and stopped the bleeding from his chest.
Whether it was Leo showing mercy or Brian’s luck, the dagger wound, just a few centimeters from the heart, spared Brian from the afterlife.
Enduring the pain, Brian sat up from the ground. With the treatment from the two elders and another dose of a healing pill, he replenished the energy and blood in his body. Gripping a black sword, he unsteadily rose to his feet.
Throughout the healing, Brian’s eyes were fixed on Leo, harboring endless coldness in his gaze.
After finishing healing Brian, Elder White, Elder Black, and Brian, along with Darcy Bush, surrounded Leo.
“Dad, today, let’s crush this bastard into pieces!” Brian’s chilling voice echoed.
Violet’s petite face subtly changed. “Master Jennifer, it looks like these four villains from the Fiery Blaze Sect want to join forces to attack Leo!”
Master Jennifer knew it was time to intervene. Drawing her Frosty Ice Sword, she said to Violet, “Violet, you stay here and watch the fight. I’ll go help Leo.”
Violet nodded. “Master Jennifer, be careful.”
Darcy Bush, realizing Leo’s prowess, dared not underestimate him anymore. He sternly commanded, “Use the Fierce Flame Four Symbols Seal!”
As Darcy Bush finished speaking, the four of them began to make hand seals simultaneously in perfect harmony.
As their hands moved, a fiery red color surged from their bodies. Along with it, a scorching heat spread in all directions.
“Fierce Flame Azure Dragon Seal!”
“Fierce Flame White Tiger Seal!”
“Fierce Flame Vermilion Bird Seal!”
“Fierce Flame Black Tortoise Seal!”
Four low voices resonated, and the fiery red colors surging from their bodies transformed into the images of a dragon, a tiger, a vermillion bird, and a black tortoise.
“I can’t believe it… This is… a combined martial skill!”
Henry, concealed in a maple tree, saw this scene, his pupils involuntarily contracting. He never expected that the Fiery Blaze Sect, merely a third-rate martial sect, would possess such a combined martial skill!
“The combined martial skill unleashed by these four from the Fiery Blaze Sect would probably give even Martial Monarchs a headache.”
Elliot, perched on a tree, wore a solemn expression. Even from a distance, he sensed an extremely dangerous aura.
Elliot had no doubt that if he faced this combined martial skill, he would be obliterated.
“Kid, you can go to hell!” Darcy Bush’s cold gaze locked onto Leo as his hands formed seals.
At the same time, Brian, Elder White, and Elder Black also made hand seals.
The illusions of the Azure Dragon, White Tiger, Vermilion Bird, and Black Tortoise charged towards Leo simultaneously.
“That kid is done for!” Elliot asserted.
Henry, uninterested in Leo’s fate, focused on Master Jennifer. A sly smile played on his lips. “It’s best if Leo dies, but Elliot, that woman called Jennifer, I don’t want her to die.”
Elliot nodded slightly, stroked the beard on his chin, and said, “Rest assured, young master. I won’t let Fiery Blaze Sect kill her.”
Sensing the imminent danger, Leo’s expression turned serious. Simultaneously flipping both hands, two talismans appeared in each.
Seeing the talismans in Leo’s hands, Henry and Elliot couldn’t help but widen their eyes. Their expressions were genuinely astonished.
“How many talismans does this kid have on him!?” Henry couldn’t comprehend it. If Leo accidentally acquired one talisman, they could understand, but now he took out four talismans, which seemed excessive.
After all, in their understanding, talismans were supposed to be precious, magical items found only in mystical realms, more valuable than any spiritual herbs or plants.
Yet, in Leo’s possession, it seemed like talismans could be pulled out casually.
