The hardest thing in life is having patience. They say the longer something takes the better the outcome. Well I say it is bullshit.
We have been waiting like what seems forever. Everyone is trying their level best to calm me down and assure me that everything is going to be okay. Well I have had enough.
Trayton ~”THE NEXT FUCKING PERSON THAT TELLS ME TO CALMDOWN IS GETTING PUNCHED.”
Mary ~”Trayton at least sit down then. That racing up and down is not doing your heart any good.”
Trayton ~”WHAT THE FUCK DOES WALKING UP AND DOWN GOTTO DO WITH MY HEART?”
Kenton ~”Trayton please come with me so we can get coffee.”
Trayton ~”NO. DID MOM NOT JUST SAY I AM RACING MY HEART UP AND NOW YOU WANT TO GIVE ME CAFFEINE?”
Mary ~”Can we get you a decaf coffee then?”
Trayton ~”NO. DO I LOOK LIKE SOMEONE THAT DRINK DAMN DECAF COFFEE?”
Kenton ~”Trayton come get some fresh air.”
Trayton ~”NO. I AM BREATHING PERFECTLY FINE. I DON’T NEED FUCKING FRESH AIR.”
Mary ~”Trayton please.”
Trayton ~”JUST LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE. GUNNER PLEASE FIND THAT DAMN DOCTOR BEFORE I BREAK HIS LEGS.”
Gunner ~”Yes boss.”
Trayton ~”DAMIAN PLEASE GO WITH MY MOTHER TO GET EVERYONE COFFEE WITH CAFFEINE.”
Damian ~”Yes boss.”
Trayton ~”DOMINIC PLEASE TAKE THIS GUN BEFORE I FUCKING SHOOT SOMEONE.”
Dominic ~”Sure man.”
Everyone fucks off with only Kaylin remaining. I walk on over and take a seat next to her. Before I know what comes over me, I burst out crying.
Kaylin ~”Shit Trayton, come here.”
She pulls me closer so my head is laying on her chest. I can hear her heart is just beating as fast as mine as she burst out crying too.
Trayton ~”Fuck Kaylin, I am so goddamn scared. I don’t know what I am going to do if something happens to the babies. Ava will not survive it..”
Kaylin ~”Oh Trayton, I just know she will be okay. You guys have been through so much shit and it always works out.”
Trayton ~”This is the kind of thing I cannot control. I can safe her, I can even fix her but my damn hands are tied here.”
Kaylin ~”Trayton she is a fighter, you both are fighters, those babies sure as hell is going to be fighters as well.”
Trayton ~”I am burning that fucking carpet when I get home. I am putting damn floors in that entire house that is near damn impossible to slip on. In fact I am buying a new house.”
Kaylin ~”See that is the spirit. Now keep on thinking positive like that.”
My tears dry up just in time as mom and Damian come back with the coffee. Dominic and Kenton are right behind them.
Mary ~”Here my boy, I put some extra sugar in for you.”
Trayton ~”Mom, seriously, do you want to kill me?”
Kenton ~”Well I don’t know what you did Kaylin but he seems a lot calmer now.”
Trayton ~”Wouldn’t you love to know? Why do you think I sent all of you away?”
Kenton ~”Hahaha you are extremely funny.”
Trayton ~”Oh? Well I was not trying to be.”
Just then Gunner comes back with the doctor. I did not quite think he will get it right but when I see how he got the doctor here, I am extremely shocked.
Trayton ~”Gunner, I did not mean bring the doctor here with a gun stuck in his back.”
Gunner ~”Boss he did not want to come so I had to find a way to get him here.”
Trayton ~”Who is with Ava then?”
Dr Johnson ~”There is another Doctor and a Nurse with her.”
Trayton ~”How is she? Is the babies okay?”
Dr Johnson ~”She and the babies are fine. Luckily the fall didn’t affect the babies but there is inflammation to the placenta which caused the bleeding.”
Trayton ~”I have no idea what you just said. All I care about is can I see her?”
Dr Johnson ~”She is resting. But you can go through, the rest of this crazy bunch can stay here. With your guns.”
Trayton ~”I am so sorry about that doctor, it is his first day on the job.”
Dr Johnson ~”I don’t want to know what his job is.”
Gunner ~”Believe me you don’t want to know because then I really have to kill you.”
Dr Johnson ~”Thank god I am in a hospital, at least someone can save me.”
Gunner ~”Trust me, if I shoot you then you are for sure as dead as a rock.”
Dr Johnson ~”And you sure have the personality of one.”
Gunner shoves his gun, which he still has not removed, even deeper into the doctor’s back.
Trayton ~”That is enough. Both of you. Can I please see my fiancé now!”
Dr Johnson ~”Come with me.”
I disappear with the doctor down this damn enormous long corridor to the maternity unit.
Trayton ~”Why is she in here?”
Dr Johnson ~”Just in case if we had to get the babies out.”
Trayton ~”But…”
Dr Johnson ~”Don’t even go there son.”
We stop at some godawful pink room where my baby and our babies are resting. The doctor leaves while I go inside. As soon as I step through the doorway she turns her head and sees me. Her eyes are puffy from all the crying, her mascara is rubbed all different ways over her face.
Ava ~”Hey you.”
Trayton ~”Hey you yourself.”
She bursts our crying.
Trayton ~”Hey, ssshhh, everything is okay.”
Ava ~”Baby we nearly lost the babies.”
Trayton ~”Not even close nearly. They just as strong and stubborn as their mom.”
Ava ~”Now you are lying, you are the stubborn one.”
Trayton ~”Well let’s hope both of them is not as stubborn as me.”
She take my face in her hand and give me a gentle kiss on the lips. A small little smile forms around the corners of her mouth.
Ava ~”Baby I need to tell you something.”
Trayton ~”Please don’t let it be bad news, I will go fetch Gunner to come really shoot this doctor.”
She chuckles softly.
Ava ~”I have never seen anyone go so pale so quickly in my life before.”
Trayton ~”The man is crazy. He is going to fit perfectly into this family.”
Ava ~”I agree but that is not what I want to tell you.”
Trayton ~”What is wrong baby girl?”
Ava ~”Nothing is wrong. You can go tell Kaylin she has one the second bet as well.”
Trayton ~”What do you mean? Oh. Is it a girl?”
Ava ~”Yes baby. We are having a healthy baby girl and a baby boy.”
Trayton ~”Then I guess the room is going to be yellow? Or perhaps green?”
Ava ~”No we can do one half blue and the other half pink.”
Trayton ~”I knew that you would come around to the idea.”
Ava ~”But baby…”
Trayton ~”Yes?”
Ava ~”Can we please go look for another house? That place is not baby friendly, fuck it is not even pregnant lady friendly.”
Trayton ~”Of course we can. When did the doctor say you can go home?”
Ava ~”He said in a day or two.”
Trayton ~”Well best they bring another bed in here because I ain’t fucking going home.”
Ava ~”Oh god. Here we go again.”
Trayton ~”Well I am not going anywhere. Why don’t you get some rest?”
I wait for her until she falls asleep before I pull out my cell phone to phone mom.
Mary ~”Tray, is she okay? Is the babies okay?”
Trayton ~”Yes mom, all three of them are okay.”
Mary ~”Thank god, can we see her?”
Trayton ~”No. Only I for now but I have some other news.”
Mary ~”What? Is something else wrong?”
Trayton ~”No mom. We know what sex the other baby is.”
Mary ~”Oh please tell me it is a girl?
Trayton ~”Yes it is.”
My mom screams so loud I need to hold the phone away from my ear. It even makes Ava stir.
Trayton ~”Mom! Control the noise levels there. I will speak to you later. You guys can go home. I am going to stay here with her for the next couple of day.”
Mary ~”Let me know if she needs anything.”
Trayton ~”Maybe bring her some pajamas. Oh and please bring some of that strawberry milk for her too.”
I drop the call and see if I can go find a Nurse or the Doctor. I see a very angry looking lady standing at the nursing station.
Trayton ~”Nurse, I need a bed please.”
Nurse ~”Son you don’t look pregnant to me.”
Trayton ~”No I need it for my fiancé’s room.”
Nurse ~”Why? What is from with her bed?”
Trayton ~”Nothing. It is for me.”
Nurse ~”I don’t quite catch what you getting at?”
Trayton ~”I want a bed in her room so I can sleep on it.”
Nurse ~”What is wrong with your bed at home?”
Trayton ~”Nothing. I don’t want to go home, I want to stay with her.”
Nurse ~”Then you can go sleep in the waiting room.”
Trayton ~”I am sorry but I can’t do that.”
Nurse ~”Well I am sorry but I can’t allow you to sleep in her room.”
Just then the doctor shows up.
Dr Johnson ~”Nurse I suggest you do as he says.”
Nurse ~”But Doctor…”
Dr Johnson ~”Believe me you want to do as he says.”
Nurse ~”Sure doctor, I will get a bed in there right away.”
Trayton ~”Thank you Nurse, Doctor.”
I give the Doctor a sneaky smirk and go back to Ava’s.
The next few days goes by quickly, Ava is back to her normal self. One thing I must say is that she has learned how to get back on her feet very quickly again. All she wants to do is go house hunting but the doctor wants her in bed for at least the next week.
Ava ~”Baby I can’t stay in bed for so long. What am I going to do?”
Trayton ~”Watch TV, sleep, fight with me, sleep some more. Oh and don’t forget eat.”
Ava ~”Trayton.”
Trayton ~”Yes baby girl?”
Ava ~”You can be glad my wobbling ass moves so slow.”
Trayton ~”And your hands are swollen.”
Ava ~”Oh thanks for reminding me. I will get Gunner to slap you against the head.”
Trayton ~”Baby girl, I think he would much rather shoot me.”
Ava ~”Do you know what he called me this morning? Mrs Boss.”
Trayton ~”Hahaha that is fucking hilarious.”

Trayton ~”Hey, I think you will be a great Mafia Queen.”
Ava ~”Just scrap that idea right off your head.”
Trayton ~”Oh I forgot to tell you. Your dad phone. He was worried because he did not hear from you.”
Ava ~”Shit. Did you tell him everything?”
Trayton ~”Yes, now he is worried even more. He did ask when he can see you.”
Ava ~”Fuck baby, I don’t know if I am ready for that.”
Trayton ~”It’s fine baby girl, take your time.”
Ava ~”What about when we have settled in our new house. When we can find it.”
Trayton ~”That is what you can do. Look online so long then when the doctor says it is okay, then we can go look at them.”
Ava ~”See that is why I am marrying you. Not for your body but for your brains.”
Trayton ~”Geez baby, you really know how to make a man feel special.”
The Doctor finally gives her the all clear little less than a week later. She is near damn excited over the moon as we get ready for our day of house hunting but first I get a call from Jackson.
Jackson ~”Hey Trayton. How is Ava and the babies?”
Trayton ~”Well, how is your ones?”
Jackson ~”Absolutely adorable and that includes the crazy wife.”
Trayton ~”Don’t let her hear you say that, she will whack your ass.”
Jackson ~”Yes that I know all too well. She is my reason for phoning, she wants Anthony gone. When do you think you can do the job?”
Trayton ~”Give me another week, I just want to get this house hunting out of the way.”
Jackson ~”Good luck with that, that girl of yours is full of shit when it comes to picking things.”
Trayton ~”Trust me man, I had a week to prepare myself for this day.”
Jackson ~”I will let you know sooner to the time where you can find Anthony.”
Trayton ~”Perfect. Speak soon.”
I see Ava looking at me funny as I drop the call.
Ava ~”I don’t know if I should slap you for you prepare comment or ask you what you two are up too.”
Trayton ~”Neither of them. Come, let’s go.”
Ava ~”Are we bringing Gunner and Damian with?”
Trayton ~”Yes baby girl, we have to.”
Ava ~”Okay then let’s go.”
I watch as her wobbling ass makes its way out the door. Yes I know I say that a lot but I don’t think I will ever get enough of how funny it is.
Ava ~”Trayton!”
Trayton ~”Yes baby girl, I know.”
We all pile into the car and head off to the first place.
The first house is a stone grey mansion with seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms, two reception areas, large kitchen, two lounge areas and of course don’t forget the long oddly shaped pool.
The second one is a Mexican style three-story mansion with eight bedrooms, seven bathrooms, an even larger kitchen, two lounges, a huge entertainment area and a bar.
The last place is a more modern looking mansion with loads of windows. It has six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, two kitchens, an office, a bar, entertainment area and two lounges.
Once we are done looking at a couple more places that are not quite so impressive we head on back home. Everybody is sitting around in the kitchen patiently waiting for us.
Mary ~”Come let’s see the photos.”
Trayton ~”We only took pictures of the ones we really liked.”
Ava shows them around to everyone, everyone clearly having their favourite.
Ava ~”So guys, what do you think?”
Mary ~”I say one.”
Kenton ~”I say three.”
Kaylin ~”I say two.”
Dominic ~”I agree with Kenton, I say three.”
Trayton ~”And you two?”
Gunner ~”Mmm tough one but I say two.”
Damian ~”I like one more.”
Trayton ~”You guys are really not helping.”
Ava ~”Well baby, what do you say?”
