“Chasel, what are you waiting for? Drag them all out and give them a good beating,” Bob had zero tolerance for people who tarnished his reputation.
Chasel signaled his subordinates and had Kyle and his gang dragged out of the bridal shop.
“Mr. Abe, please spare me. I won’t dare to do it again next time. I’ll give you all the management fees I’ve collected,” Kyle pleaded, but Bob waved his hand impatiently.
Outside Red Candle’s Beauty, there soon echoed the sounds of pig-like wailing and moaning.
Bob glanced at Eden and said, “You should thank Mr. Bloomer.”
Eden promptly said, “Thank you, Mr. Bloomer, for coming to our rescue.”
Leo merely gave a nonchalant smile and turned to Sophia, “Sophia, how about we do an impromptu bridal photoshoot in this shop? The location will be Maplewood Shore. What do you think?”
Sophia nodded and said, “I have no objections. Please arrange it for us when the shooting plan is ready.”
Eden was more than happy to comply and said, “Mr. Bloomer, I will start working on the shooting plan immediately. I’ll inform you as soon as it’s ready.”
Once everything was settled, Leo patted Bob’s shoulder and said, “Bob, we’ll head back now. As for your so-called cousin, that’s your business to handle.”
Bob nodded, “Rest assured, I will make sure he never forgets today.”
“Thank you!”
“Among friends, we don’t need to thank each other. If you ever need anything, just let me know.”
After Leo and Sophia walked away, Bob approached Kyle, who was lying on the ground and still moaning. He squatted down beside him, his words laced with menace as he said, one word at a time, “You worthless piece of trash. How dare you commit wrongdoing in my name? It seems you have a death wish.”
Kyle and his subordinates had already been severely beaten by Chasel and his men, leaving them with only half a life. In response to Bob’s words, they continued to beg, “Mr. Abe, I truly know I was wrong. Please spare me. I can serve you like a slave.”
“Serve me as a slave? Is that even possible for the likes of you?” Bob sneered and smiled coldly. “Disable their limbs.”
“Mr. Abe, please, don’t-Aah!”
Bob stood up from the ground and gazed into the distance, his eyes profound.
Three days later, atop Cloud Dream Mountain, at the highest point, on the Heaven’s Extreme Stone.
A tremendously powerful and shocking force erupted from the Heaven’s Extreme Stone, similar to the shockwave produced when a bomb exploded.
Leo slowly opened his eyes, and they were filled with joy.
He had finally broken through to the Mid-Level Spiritualist Master realm.
Leo was ecstatic about reaching this stage because it meant he could now try his hand at alchemy. After descending from Cloud Dream Mountain, he went straight to the clinic, gathered the necessary herbs, and locked himself in a room at the clinic’s backyard to attempt to concoct a pill called the Vitality Pill.
In front of Leo floated the Mystical Sky Bagua-Patterned Alchemical Furnace. Its purple jade body was lustrous, and intricate patterns adorned its surface, exuding an aura of nobility and mystery.
Leo enlarged the furnace, gently let it touch the ground, and then lifted the top cover to place the prepared herbs inside.
Leo’s valuing on alchemy was due to the magical properties of elixirs. Some elixirs could replenish spiritual energy, while others could heal injuries or assist in advancing one’s abilities. The Vitality Pill was a low-level elixir that could support cultivation and restore spiritual energy during battles.
“This is my first attempt at concocting. I wonder if I can succeed in one go,” Leo muttered softly, a glint of excitement passing through his eyes.
Leo steadied his mind and called out, “Spiritual Fire, Condense!”
A crimson flame rose in Leo’s palm. He directed it towards the alchemical furnace.
Boom!
As the flames entered the furnace, its interior was dyed red. Since Leo was only a Mid-Level Spiritualist and hadn’t developed his spiritual sense, he relied on his eyes to monitor the process inside the furnace.
Leo focused, channeling spiritual power into his eyes, giving them a faint bluish hue. With Leo’s manipulation, the herbs in the furnace were incinerated, their essence purified and then condensed into pills.
Pill condensation was strenuous and crucial, requiring the transformation of herbal essence into pill form.
“Converge!” Leo flicked his fingertips repeatedly, sending streams of crimson spiritual fire into the furnace.
The flames inside the furnace soared, raising the temperature to an extreme level. Were it not for the Mystical Sky Bagua-Patterned Alchemical Furnace, which acted as a spiritual tool and controlled the temperature, the room’s temperature would have risen significantly.
With a bluish light in his eyes, Leo carefully monitored the situation inside the furnace, using his spiritual fire to nurture each pill.
Time flowed by, and an hour later, the bluish light in Leo’s eyes faded. His face revealed an expression of excitement.
“Pills formed, open the furnace!” Leo changed his hand gesture, and the furnace’s lid flew off. The room was instantly filled with a rich medicinal fragrance.
Leo withdrew the spiritual fire inside the furnace and gestured with his right hand. Several round pills floated out, hovering in front of him.
A hint of fatigue crossed Leo’s face. The process had consumed both his mental and spiritual energy.
“Ten Vitality Pills successfully concocted, and their quality is quite good,” Leo said as he gazed at the floating pills, a touch of joy in his eyes. He didn’t expect to succeed on his first attempt.
“Unfortunately, my cultivation has its limitations. If I were a Grand Spiritualist Master, I could activate my spiritual sense. In less than ten minutes, I could create Advanced Vitality Pills,” Leo mused quietly.
The Vitality Pill was a low-level elixir, which made it relatively easy to concoct. Higher-level elixirs would likely result in many wasted ingredients.
Leo took one of the Vitality Pills and began cultivating to recover his spiritual energy. Ten pills wouldn’t be enough to advance to the High-Level Spiritualist realm.
His limitations were due to his cultivation and the lack of advanced herbs and medicines required to create higher-level elixirs. Regular medicinal herbs wouldn’t suffice.
