Chapter 277: Despicable

Book:The All-powerful Son-In-Law Published:2024-6-3

Sophia and Martin had no choice but to wait on the side. After five or six minutes, Sophia’s phone chimed with a text message alert. She glanced at her phone, and her expression subtly changed.
She put the phone back and hesitated for a moment, then turned to Martin and said, “Dad, please wait here for Leo. I need to use the restroom.”
Martin nodded, telling her to be quick.
Sophia left the event hall and entered a nearby lounge. Inside the lounge stood a well-dressed, tall man holding a glass of red wine, wearing a trademark smile. It was Frank.
“Sophia, I thought you wouldn’t come. But it seems I guessed right; you haven’t forgotten about me,” Frank turned to look at Sophia and said leisurely.
“You’re mistaken. The only reason I came here is to tell you not to appear in my life anymore,” Sophia replied, her gaze cold. “Furthermore, I don’t care how you got my number, but from now on, please don’t call or text me.”
Sophia finished her statement, ready to leave, but Frank hurriedly reached out and grabbed her hand. “Sophia, please give me another chance. I’ll divorce Yoyo immediately if you’re willing to be with me. Back in school, I promised to cherish you, love you, and take care of you for a lifetime.”
Sophia shook off Frank’s hand, her voice icy. “There’s no need to bring up those past lies. Our relationship ended the moment you decided to leave. We were impossible before, and now it’s even more so.”
Pain immediately filled Frank’s face, and he remorsefully pleaded, “Sophia, I was wrong. I shouldn’t have left you for my family’s sake. I’m a wretch. Now that I’m back, I want to make up for the harm I caused you four years ago. Please give me this chance.”
“Make up? That’s ridiculous. There was nothing between us to begin with. Enough, this is where it ends. Goodbye,” Sophia gave Frank no room for any more opportunities.
But to her surprise, Frank grabbed her wrist again.
“You… you’re hurting me. Let go!” Sophia hissed in a low voice.
Frank looked into Sophia’s eyes sincerely. “Sophia, since we can never be, how about sharing one last drink with me? After this drink, I promise I’ll never appear in your world again.”
Frank released Sophia’s wrist and poured another glass of red wine from the table, offering it to her.
Sophia took the glass reluctantly. “You better keep your word.”
Frank nodded sadly and downed his own glass of wine in one gulp. Afterward, he closed his eyes, his expression filled with immense sorrow.
Seeing this, Sophia also finished her drink and placed the glass on the table without glancing at Frank again. She turned to leave.
But just as she reached the door of the lounge, her head suddenly spun, her legs gave way, and she collapsed to the ground.
Sophia realized immediately that Frank had drugged her drink. She tried to scream, but her throat produced no sound. She attempted to stand up, but her body felt utterly powerless.
What’s more, her breathing became rapid, and her entire body felt uncomfortably hot, as if a fire was burning inside her.
“Sophia, you ultimately belong to me. If I can’t have your heart, I’ll take your body!” Frank’s pained expression turned evil. He walked up to Sophia, who was now on the ground, and reached out to gently touch her cheek. “Sophia, I forgot to tell you, you’ve grown more mature and beautiful. It’s a shame you only see my true self today. In the wine you drank, I mixed a special potion I brought from abroad. Trust me, after drinking it, you’ll soon beg me to touch you.”
Frank lifted Sophia and placed her on a large sofa in the lounge. He then locked the door from the inside.
Frank had arranged with the lounge’s staff in advance. No one would enter this lounge until he was done.
Standing in front of the sofa and gazing at Sophia wrapped in her white fishtail gown, Frank’s eyes were filled with anticipation.
Sophia’s figure was already perfect, and under that white gown, she looked even more enchanting.
Because he had tried it abroad before, Frank was very confident in the power of the medicine, so he was not in a hurry and watched Sophia’s various reactions after the onset of the medicine.
Sophia was hot and her face was as red as a red apple. She kept writhing on the sofa, her eyes blurred, and her mouth could not help but utter some raving words.
This reaction greatly stimulated Frank and made him breathe faster.
Finally, Frank could not bear it. With trembling hands, he took off his clothes and unbuttoned his shirt…
Probably because he was too excited, Frank felt that his hands were not very good, and he did not unbutton his shirt for a long time.
During the four years he spent studying abroad, although he’d been with numerous beautiful exotic women, his heart had never let go of Sophia.
Even after marrying Yoyo, Frank hadn’t forgotten Sophia; if anything, his possessiveness towards her had grown stronger.
This possessiveness had turned into a disease over time, a disease that could only be cured by having Sophia.
To this day, Frank had never found another woman who fascinated him as much as Sophia.
Although Yoyo was also very beautiful, compared with Sophia, Frank would only choose Sophia even if he was given 10, 000 chances.
Until this day, until this very moment, Frank knew his ailment could finally be cured.
As Frank began to undress, preparing to take off his pants, a scream echoed from outside the lounge door.
Then came a loud thud as the door was forcefully kicked open.
The person who barged in was a uniformed server, who had used his body to break the door open. After crashing through, he lay motionless on the floor.
Frank swiftly turned around. At first, fear appeared on his face, but it quickly vanished as he realized that only Leo had entered.
