Leo chuckled, “I’m not a fan of making choices, so I’ll give you an option. Get down on your knees, sincerely apologize to me, and then let me and my wife have a free meal inside. I won’t hold this against you.”
Sophia’s eyes widened. She wondered if Leo had been possessed by something. His previous timidity had completely vanished, replaced by a dominating presence, the kind that could make a woman’s heart race.
Abraham, infuriated, sneered. A hint of malice flashed in his small eyes. He believed that if he didn’t teach this young man a lesson, he wouldn’t be able to hold his head high in Langstel anymore.
Abraham turned and instructed the restaurant manager, “Clear the restaurant. Comp all the bills for everyone.”
The manager, realizing that the big boss wanted to deal with that young man, quickly responded, “Yes, sir.”
The customers who were enjoying their meals inside the restaurant were more than willing to leave when they heard they could dine for free. After all, dining at Imperial Feast was not cheap.
As they left, some curious onlookers lingered outside, expecting a spectacle. However, when they saw the stern expression on Abraham’s face, they decided against sticking around.
In this area, people understood that crossing Abraham meant facing dire consequences.
Seeing the sympathetic looks from the departing customers, Sophia couldn’t help but feel nervous. She instinctively grabbed Leo’s hand.
Leo reassured her softly, “Don’t worry; I’ve got this.”
Those simple words, “I’ve got this,” calmed Sophia’s nerves. She found herself increasingly reliant on Leo. Wherever he was, she felt safe, even if the sky were to fall.
Once everyone had left, Abraham addressed Leo, “Kid, if you want to come inside, let’s make a deal. You’ll face one of my men, and if you can last five moves against him, I’ll only take one of your hands, not your life.”
Inside, the waitstaff quickly cleared away the tables, creating a spacious area for the confrontation.
Abraham clapped his hands, and a massive man, nearly two meters tall, emerged from a room inside.
Just from their physical size and build, it was clear that Leo and this man were not in the same weight class.
“Kid, you clearly don’t know how to write the word ‘death.’ You dare to provoke Mr. Hood? Today, I’ll teach you how to spell it,” the man said, cracking his knuckles, producing a series of bone-cracking sounds.
Leo, staring at the giant before him, grinned. “I think you don’t need to teach me. Showing me by dying would be more scientific.”
Standing on the side, Sophia couldn’t help but feel a bit nervous when she saw the tall man. However, when she heard Leo’s teasing words, she couldn’t help but smile.
She noticed that the more critical the situation, the more relaxed Leo became. This seemed to be a display of his strong self-confidence.
Without further ado, the man lunged at Leo with a thunderous punch, producing a whistling sound as he aimed for Leo’s head.
Abraham, arms crossed, watched with a smirk, fully expecting his hulking bodyguard to make quick work of the young man. In his eyes, Leo was about to be put in his place.
With a slight tilt of his head, Leo effortlessly evaded the man’s punch.
In an instant, Leo retaliated with a lightning-fast punch to the man’s chest.
“Thud!”
The impact sounded like a sledgehammer striking a drum. The man was sent flying and crashed into the wall. After sliding down, he lay motionless on the ground, unconscious.
Abraham’s cold smile froze on his face. He stared in disbelief, as if he had seen a ghost.
Just one punch, just one, and his prized bodyguard, who had recently joined his ranks, was defeated!
The restaurant manager was equally stupefied. He thought he was witnessing a hallucination.
He had witnessed the skills of Abraham’s bodyguard before. To see him knocked out with a single punch was beyond comprehension.
“Trash,” Leo muttered nonchalantly, then turned his sharp gaze to Abraham. “If you’re not satisfied, you can call more people. I can handle all of them.”
Arrogance exuded from Leo. Abraham was taken aback by the young man’s audacity but refused to back down. He had to save face.
Abraham reached for his phone and started making calls.
Soon, Abraham’s men arrived, but the outcome was still predictable. Just like the previous man, they either got punched by Leo and sent flying or were kicked away with a swift strike from him.
It didn’t take long, and the entire Imperial Feast echoed with the sounds of groans and cries. Abraham’s back was drenched in cold sweat.
“How could this bastard be so strong? A monster, he must be a monster!” he thought.
The restaurant manager was equally terrified. However, he knew he had to salvage the situation. After all, he had caused this mess. If he didn’t appease Abraham, he might face dire consequences.
Amidst the tension and fear, a thought suddenly struck the manager. He whispered to Abraham, “Boss, I heard Scar recently took down Philip, and he surely has some skilled men under him. How about we ask him for help?”
Abraham didn’t want to back down, and the manager’s suggestion played right into his plans. He quickly dialed Scar’s number.
After hanging up the phone, Abraham turned to Leo, his voice dripping with malice. “Kid, I admit you’re strong, but you’ll soon be begging me on your knees. Prepare yourself.”
There’s a saying on the streets, isn’t there? “In this society, it’s Scar’s world. He doesn’t talk much, but when he steps in, things get done.” Abraham knew that if Scar intervened, Leo would likely become cripple.
On the other hand, Sophia was no longer worried. First, she had witnessed Leo’s incredible fighting skills during the recent brawl, assuring her of his exceptional abilities. Second, she had overheard the restaurant manager’s words, knowing that Scar had helped Leo before and held no ill will toward him.
In a matter of minutes, Scar and his associates arrived at Imperial Feast.
When Scar saw Leo, he involuntarily trembled. He had never expected that the person Abraham wanted to deal with would be Leo.
Scar quickly approached Leo, respectfully addressing him, “Mr….”
