So, it turned out there was beautiful women here, exceptionally beautiful.
Just look at that figure, appearance, and demeanor. It’s a solid ninety-nine points out of one hundred for sure.
By comparison, Gary suddenly felt that all the women he had played with before were mediocre at best.
No wonder Reg looked like he’d lost his soul, staring over there.
Gary cleared his throat, “Rex, do you have an interest in those beauties over there?”
Reg withdrew his gaze, nodded, and gave Gary a look that said, “You know.”
“Those two beauties are truly stunning, and I wonder which one you prefer?” Gary asked.
“Both.”
“If you’d like to get to know those two ladies, I can help you.” Gary had done this sort of thing many times before and volunteered without hesitation.
Reg’s face displayed satisfaction, and he gave a slight nod. “I appreciate that.”
“Waiter.” Gary called out.
“Sir, may I assist you?” The waiter asked politely with a smile.
“Go and bring a bottle of Lafite Rothschild for the guests over there,” Gary pointed, “the gentleman and the two ladies at that table. Then tell them that this wine is a gift from Mr. Reg Russell who wants to be friends with them.”
“Very well, sir. I’ll take care of it,” the waiter’s face brightened. A bottle of Lafite Rothschild sold for four thousand here, and selling just one could earn him a high commission.
After the waiter left, Gary retrieved a stylish wooden box from his bag.
“Reg, coincidentally, I bought two jade bracelets with bright green hues from an old friend in the jade business today. Jade matched with beauties, later on, you can give these two bracelets to those two ladies,” Gary pushed the box towards Reg.
Reg accepted it, opened it, and indeed, there were two beautiful bracelets inside. He thought that this Gary was indeed thoughtful.
“Gary, these jade bracelets are quite valuable, isn’t it inappropriate for you to just give them to me?” Reg deliberately said.
“Thirty thousand for each, it’s not much money, as long as it reassures you about entrapping the beauties, it’s nothing,” Gary said insincerely.
In fact, the two bracelets in the box were meant for his wife and his mistress.
But sometimes you have to sacrifice the small for the greater. In order to please Reg after completing his grand project, Gary could only be bold.
Anyone in his line of work knew that the Director of the Municipal Construction Bureau doted on Reg, his only child.
After taking the bracelets, smiling, Rex said, “Gary, I’ll also help you in some way.”
For Leo and the two ladies, the food was already served, and the three of them began to eat.
After Nicola took a bite of fish, she unexpectedly said, “The taste of this fish is good, but it’d be even more delicious if Leo made it.”
“Nicola, what do you mean, Leo can cook?” Coral glanced at Leo with some curiosity.
Nicola didn’t think much and blurted out, “Coral, you don’t know, the tonic meal Leo makes is really tasty, it’s the most delicious thing I’ve ever eaten in my life.”
“Leo makes its for you to eat?” Coral looked at Leo, then at Nicola, unbelievably asking, “Are you two living together?”
“Ah!” Nicola blushed deeply, “Coral, where did you get that idea? How could I be with him?”
Leo was also embarrassed, he didn’t dare to explain, afraid that things would get worse if he tried to clarify.
“How could he cook for you, Nicola, be honest!” Coral teased.
“Leo and I really don’t have anything, that day I invited him to play football, he was injured, so I had him come over to my place and he showed me his cooking skills, that’s all,” Nicola explained.
“Really?” Coral expressed doubt.
Nicola pointed at Leo, “Don’t believe me, ask him!”
Coral looked at Leo, and the latter nodded repeatedly.
“Guests, hello. Mr. Reg Russell over there sent you a bottle of Lafite Rothschild. He said he wants to get to know you,” just as Coral was about to continue teasing the two, a waiter’s voice sounded.
After the waiter finished speaking, he placed the red wine on the dining table.
Leo raised his eyebrows, turned his head to look, and saw a man of similar age holding a wine glass, gesturing towards them.
Leo didn’t think he was interested in himself, which meant this guy had his eye on Coral and Nicola.
Nicola also looked over, her face expressing disinterest, “Take this bottle of wine away and tell him not to disturb our meal.”
The waiter’s face showed a troubled expression.
“What? You’re not leaving? Then I’ll throw it in the trash.” Nicola grew more dissatisfied.
Leo, however, said, “How stingy, don’t you see there are three of us here? Go back and tell Mr. Russel, either don’t send anything or send ten more bottles, otherwise, we can’t be friends with this kind of guy.”
Hearing this, the waiter was surprised, thinking that Leo was joking.
A bottle of wine cost four thousand, but ten bottles would be fourty thousand.
“Why are you just standing there? Go tell him.” Leo waved his hand.
After the waiter left, Nicola couldn’t help but wink at Leo, jokingly saying, “Leo, you actually have the potential to be a bad guy.”
“Nicola, I think he’s already the bad guy.” Coral also chuckled.
Upon successfully delivering the wine and returning, Reg eagerly asked, “How was it? What did they say?”
“Sir, they said,” the waiter hesitated, wondering whether she should relay the words of the guests at the table.
Gary, however, was impatient, “What did they say? Don’t hold back.”
“The guests at that table said that sending just one bottle is too petty, they’re three people, and they want ten more bottles if you want to be friends with them,” the waiter said.
Hearing this, Reg suddenly began to cough intensely, choking on a piece of meat he’d just eaten.
Gary hurriedly handed him some tea, “Reg, are you okay? Are you feeling alright?”
After a bout of coughing, Reg finally caught his breath and pointed at the waiter with a loud voice, “What did you just say?”
The waiter was getting nervous, but she still gathered her courage and said, “The guests at that table said that sending just one bottle is too stingy. If you want to be friends with them, you should send ten more bottles.”
“Did they actually call me stingy?” Reg suddenly burst into laughter, he had never heard anyone dare to call him stingy in his life.
He was Reg, the only son of the Director of the Municipal Construction Bureau. In his circles, he might not be spending money freely, but he was at least generous.
