The leading man was taken aback. His voice had changed, and he wondered how the kid recognized him.
Since he was exposed, Jim didn’t want to waste any time. He gestured behind him and said, “Go cripple that guy’s leg first, and deal with those two women later.”
Hearing the boss’s orders, over ten men armed with knives and clubs closed in on Leo and the others.
As for the guys behind the Land Rover, they were keeping an eye out and ready to turn away any passing vehicles.
Leo’s first fight had been with the thugs that Gilbert had called. These men were much stronger than the previous ones he came across, and despite Leo possessing spiritual power, he couldn’t afford to be careless.
“Stand behind me and don’t run around. Let me handle these guys.” Leo’s gaze turned cold as he instructed the two women behind him.
“Leo, don’t be impulsive!” Coral couldn’t help but exclaim. In her eyes, there was no way Leo could take on those ten-plus armed men.
Nevertheless, Leo charged forward, delivering a swift kick to the first man’s chest.
The first man clearly didn’t expect Leo to be so quick, and before he could react, he spat blood and flew backward, unconscious after hitting the ground.
Leo knew these guys probably had blood on their hands, so he wouldn’t hold back.
The others hesitated for a moment after seeing their companion sent flying.
Nicola was also surprised by Leo’s impressive kick and wondered, “Could it be that Leo knows martial arts?”
“Attack together! Disable him!” Jim was taken aback by his subordinates’ hesitation, so he bellowed at them.
With so many people, it was hard to believe they couldn’t handle one unarmed guy.
They surrounded Leo again, wielding their weapons erratically.
In the darkness, faint shadows could be seen moving, accompanied by the sound of fists hitting flesh, steel pipes striking bodies, and blades clashing.
Coral couldn’t bear to watch any longer. Even though she had only known Leo for a few days, she had brought him here and felt responsible for his safety.
“Stop fighting! I’ll give you the jade and money!” Coral shouted, hoping someone would respond to her. However, the fighting sounds soon stopped.
By the light of the car’s headlights, Coral saw numerous people lying on the ground, writhing in pain with blood stains all over them.
As for Leo, he stood there as if he hadn’t moved at all.
In truth, Leo had also taken two hits to the shoulder during the chaos. To his surprise, he found that his ability to withstand blows was exceptionally strong. Normally, anyone hit like this would be left lying on the ground, unable to get up, but Leo only felt a slight ache in his shoulder.
Trying to use his spiritual power to heal the area where he was struck, the discomfort quickly faded away.
“I didn’t expect you to be skilled in combat. You’re interesting.” Though his men were defeated, under his mask, Jim remained unafraid, showing a hint of surprise at Leo’s prowess.
“I advise you to disappear from my sight immediately, or you’ll be lying here today.” Leo’s voice was icy.
“Oh, really?” Jim’s voice was full of disdain, and in a flash, he pounced at Leo like a fierce tiger, aiming a punch at his head.
Before his fist made contact, Leo felt an unprecedented sense of oppression.
This guy was no ordinary person!
As Jim’s massive fist was about to strike Leo, Leo threw a punch in response.
A loud thud rang out, much like a fist hitting a sandbag.
After the exchange, both of them staggered back.
“This guy’s strength is impressive! Could he also have spiritual power in his body?” Leo felt a chill as he shook off the slight numbness in his right hand.
“Kid, you’ve got some power, but in a fight, strength alone won’t cut it!” Jim’s biceps suddenly swelled, and he lunged at Leo again.
In the dark, the two men were once again locked in combat.
The sound of fists hitting flesh continued incessantly, but their actions were too fast to be discerned.
Although Leo possessed spiritual power, he lacked the combat experience and fighting skills that Jim had. After just a dozen moves, he had already taken two hits.
Jim’s strength was formidable; his punches felt like being hit with a sledgehammer.
Even though Leo had taken a few hits, he still managed to stand and fight, which astonished Jim. Most people would be knocked down if they took even one of his punches.
Jim grew tired of their scuffle and deliberately showed his weak spot.
Leo punched Jim’s cheek, but Jim retaliated with a powerful kick to Leo’s chest.
Jim used all his strength in that kick, and Leo was sent flying before crashing to the ground.
Jim rubbed his sore cheek and walked toward Leo step by step.
Leo struggled to get up but failed.
Jim approached him and squatted down, saying coldly, “Leo, your fighting skills are pathetic. Even though you can take a hit, no one can withstand my kicks.”
Jim didn’t notice Leo’s right hand sneaking into his pocket.
“Now, I’ll break your right leg. Bear with it; it’ll hurt.” Jim reached out and pressed down on Leo’s right foot, raising his left hand to deliver a deadly chop.
“Leo!” Coral panicked, “Let him go, and I’ll give you the jade and money!”
Coral and Nicola wanted to rush forward, but two men in black suddenly appeared, blocking their way.
These two men had been on watch behind the Mercedes. When they saw over ten of their men knocked down by Leo, they came to help.
“Stay put, or else…” One of the men warned, his tone somewhat sleazy.
Coral and Nicola dared not move, but they kept their anxious eyes on the direction where Leo was.
Jim raised his hand, gathering strength, preparing to chop at Leo’s thigh.
In Jim’s view, once this strike landed, Leo’s thigh bone would definitely shatter.
However, at that moment, Leo’s right hand swiftly jabbed at Jim’s waist.
The hand Jim had raised stopped halfway, and beads of sweat appeared on his forehead. A peculiar pain quickly spread from his waist throughout his body, causing him to shiver involuntarily.
Leo broke free from Jim’s grip on his right foot and got up from the ground. He took off Jim’s mask while saying casually, “I didn’t do anything. You have a condition in your body, excessive resentment. I just gave you a little jab to help.”
