The moment they saw the scene inside the room, both of them froze. Their faces showed not only nervousness but also fear.
On the bedroom floor sat a disheveled woman, wearing a long red dress. In her arms was a little girl with rolled-back eyes, foaming at the mouth, and trembling uncontrollably.
The woman in red wept, occasionally calling out a name, “Momo… Momo…”
If this scene were placed at night, it would be incredibly terrifying.
Harry rushed in and exclaimed, “Page, what happened to you?”
“Mr. Toby, don’t touch her!” Leo shouted urgently.
Harry’s outstretched hand froze in mid-air.
Leo quickly approached and pulled him away. “For the safety of your wife and child, you must not touch them now.”
Just as Leo finished speaking, the woman in red lifted her head and looked at Harry with a creepy smile. “Honey, you’re back. Look, our Momo is sleeping so quietly.”
“Mr. Bloomer, what’s happening? Please, save them,” Harry pleaded, terrified.
Leo took out a silver needle he carried with him and crouched in front of the woman.
“Who are you?” The woman’s face turned cold, her expression vigilant.
Leo’s hand moved like lightning as he inserted a silver needle into the woman’s forehead. Her eyes closed, and she fell to the ground.
“Page!” Harry exclaimed in panic.
“She’s fine. Take care of her. I’ll save your daughter now.”
Leo gently laid the trembling girl on the ground. The girl seemed to sense something as her body suddenly stopped trembling. Her previously rolled-back eyes revealed pupils, which dilated and turned completely black.
Leo took out the silver needle and inserted it into the girl’s Baihui, Dicang, Shangguan, and Qishe acupuncture points.
Only then did the girl’s pitch-black eyes close, and her rapid breathing returned to normal.
Leo picked up the girl named Momo and placed her on the bedroom bed.
At this point, Leo had a bold conjecture about the cause of the girl’s illness.
If the things recorded in his mind were true, this girl had likely been possessed.
Children had weak yang energy and were most susceptible to evil spirits. If the root cause was not eliminated, even adults would eventually suffer.
Harry’s wife was the most direct example.
As for Harry himself, because he was male and had strong yang energy, it was not easy for evil spirits to invade him. However, he had still been affected, which was why Leo had sensed the aura of evil when he was outside the Henley family mansion’s gate.
“Mr. Toby, I have temporarily relieved your daughter’s symptoms, but for a complete cure, I need a bowl of rooster’s comb blood,” Leo said to Harry.
Harry was startled upon hearing about using rooster’s comb blood for treatment, something he had never heard of. However, he had complete trust in Leo’s ability to save lives. He took out his phone to call the servants and arrange for it to be bought.
At that moment, Momo, who had been lying on the bed with her eyes closed, suddenly jumped up and ran towards the door, saying, “I’m fine!”
Leo swiftly grabbed Momo’s arm and inserted a needle into the back of her neck.
Momo collapsed to the ground.
Page, who had awakened, thought that Leo had knocked her daughter unconscious and, driven by maternal instinct, became furious. “Who are you? Why did you hurt my child?” she angrily yelled at Leo, trying to attack him.
Harry quickly grabbed her, holding her back.
Leo lifted Momo and explained, “Your child is possessed. We need to treat her immediately, or her life will be in danger. Mr. Toby, quickly have someone bring rooster’s comb blood!”
Upon hearing this, Harry immediately called the servants to buy the blood fromthe comb of a large rooster.
Page broke free from Harry’s grasp and glared at Leo, scolding him with a stern expression. “Where did you come from? You spout nonsense. Momo is just sick. How dare you say she’s possessed! Harry, get him out of here!”
