The next day he was still staying at mine, he didn’t go back to his hell hole. He was assuring me that when Robbie came he would be there and that he was marking his territory.
Damn Alphas males.
But you like those kinds of males don’t you?
My wolf was starting to come out from his hiding.
“How’s Durwin? he didn’t get into any trouble because he decided to go back right?”
“No I just send him back to his quarters, he was brave enough to question my decision. He really does care about you. Definitely not just a pretty face.”
“I don’t get why you’re not jealous about Durwin and me, but gets so worked up with Robbie kissing me?” I finally asked him, the thought just cross my mind the minute I asked about Durwin.
“I permitted him to love you, he knows his boundaries. He would step back anytime I ask him to. But this Robbie guy, he’s just plain annoying. It’ll be easier if I just kill him, can I kill him?”
“Ranulf! no.”
“Why? do you like kissing him? do you want him with us, like Durwin?” he asked pulling me closer with his wings. We were still laying in bed, I was snuggling in closer to his side not wanting to be parted from him.
“No, Grey actually likes him. But the brute didn’t even know it…”
“Yeah, because he’s busy buttering you up.”
“Wow, you’re jealous aren’t you?”
“You think?!”
“I think so, and I’m liking your jealousy,” I said pulling myself on top of him, straddling him. He groaned but was letting me explore his body as I started kissing his chest.
I was taking both of his arms to each side of his head, then whispered telling him to keep them there.
“What are you planning to do to me little wolf?” his eyes looked at me, and I was about to start ravishing him when my front door was knocked.
I groaned then get off of my king of hell and put on my pants. I looked at the clock knowing it was probably Robbie, we have a training session scheduled for that morning.
“Hey… you ready?” he asked looking fresh and handsome in his own way. He would be a perfect match for Grey.
“I was thinking that we could skip today’s training?…”
Before I could explain further Ranulf was already behind me, wrapping my body with his arm possessively.
“He won’t be doing anything else except me today.”
I would laugh, but Robbie was looking at me with his questioning look.
“Really Rain? It took you days to even function, and now you’re taking him back?” he was pissed at me, then looked at Ranulf with his ‘I’m ready to take you down’ face.
“Rain seriously, can I kill him now?” he kissed my hair, saying his words loud enough for Robbie to hear.
Oh crap!
“Oh, buddy you can surely try.”
I was about to pull Ranulf back when he was pulled out by Robbie. His wolf was quick in overtaking his body, while Ranulf’s dark wings spread out majestically showing off its strength. His well defined upper body was enhanced as he landed gracefully, and his wings touched the ground in an elegant yet powerful manner.
If they weren’t about to get into a fight, I would definitely think Ranulf was showing off for me and it was actually working. I cursed myself for being slightly turned on by his show of power. And for a fraction of a second, I could see that my King of hell looked at me smirking. He knows that I have the hots for him just seconds earlier.
Damn freaking mind reader!
But it only took me seconds to be taken back and sees Robbie’s wolf. His lush grey colored coat was another stunning feature of his. There was something about his pure aristocracy that made him looked powerful. I was sure he was the leader of his pack just by seeing his appearance, no wonder Grey was smitten by him.
His loud feral growl took me back to reality, making me turned my back to Ranulf who was clearly upset that I was checking him out.
What? I shrugged at him. Perfectly aware that he had just slipped into my thoughts. That should teach him not to sneak into other people’s minds.
“Guys, seriously I’m flattered that you would fight over me. But what are we fifteen? tuck your dicks back in and slow your testosterone level down. Let’s just get back inside and have some beer.”
And then I relaxed when I see Grey pacing his steps faster towards us.
“What is going on?” Grey asked fully alert, looking at Ranulf’s fighting stance.
“Hi Grey, thank you! could you calm him down, while I calm the grumpy angel down?” I said walking to Ranulf’s side and told Grey to go to Robbie’s side.
But Robbie was too fast for Grey when he pushes his way to Ranulf. I was still walking a couple of steps behind when the grey wolf let out a loud growl and latched his sharp claws to the grumpy angel’s chest making him grunted to his attack.
Then Ranulf retaliated and kick the wolf, causing him to stumble a couple of meters back. His chest was dripping blood, but he gracefully walked to him and the large grey wolf was quick to stand back on his feet and growl forcefully.
He was putting both of his front paws in a fighting stance, his posture was tense and his ears were up and alert to his surroundings. The wolf was about to jump him when Grey interrupted him while still in his human form.
Oh, Fuck!
I quickly ran to them, knowing that a wolf strength would be too great for a human. And it was terrifying, knowing that I was right when I see his claw embedded deep to Grey’s shoulder just inches to his neck.
Or so I thought, cause seconds later blood was pouring down quickly darkening his baby blue shirt. I hurriedly took off my shirt, and put it over his wound, and planted my hands trying to give him more pressure and stop the wound from sipping out more blood.
“Damn it, Robbie! quick go get Amos here! I’ll try to keep him alive.”
Robbie finally snapped out of his shocked state, then was fast to run towards the packhouse.
“Grey, stay with me okay… why did you do something stupid like that?”
”Rain, I’m… good, I’ll be good. Need to… stop the fight. He could get hurt…”
“Damn it Grey!… keep talking to me…” I was upset that he would be so stupid, and get in the way of a werewolf.
“Ranulf! help me carry him inside. This is all on you boys if both of you would just listen to me…” I was babbling, panicking trying to stop the bleeding while Grey keeps on getting paler with each minute passed.
I was casting my healing spell and had told Ranulf to take my place and put pressure on the crook of Grey’s neck. The healing circle was made the candles were lit, but my healing power was nothing to Amos. And I finally relaxed when I saw Amos barged into the living room, where we lay Grey in the middle looking even paler than before.
Robbie was quiet, the guilt on his face was obvious. He was still naked from the human transformation, and he didn’t even seem to care.
“Ran, can you get one of my pants for Robbie. Just do this for me okay, I need to help Amos with Grey. Go… now, please…” I said taking his place in keeping Grey’s wound pressured with my shirt which was now all soaked with his blood.
Amos was quick in chanting his spells, and carry on with his intricate ritual. He was finally done half an hour later, the room was foggy from the incense, the candle had melted halfway through. But Grey was still pale and lethargic though his bleeding had stopped.
Robbie was dressed and continue pacing back and forth in my living space, trailing his fingers to his hair over and over again. Amos had convinced him that Grey would be fine, and he would be able to move back to his house in an hour or two. Robbie just nodded.
It was two hours later when Robbie decided to move Grey back to his place.
“This is my fault. I’ll take care of him, and will report everything to Grant.”
His words were short and full of emotion, and I could feel something more to his sudden attentiveness towards Grey.
He was gone with Grey in his arms before I could even reply to him.
“Come on… let him be.”
Ranulf was by my side, taking my spent and tired body under his wings and kissed my cheek. He was whispering his loving words while closing the door after Robbie, finally separating us from the rest of the world.
