Archie’s words were shocking enough. More importantly, he seemed to have suffered some kind of grievance.
The helplessness and unwillingness in her tone were revealed. Emma was like a fool.
Her beautiful eyes stared straight at the man leaning against the railing. He wore a gray-black handmade suit, and his long legs were wrapped under his straight and smooth pants. He crossed them casually. His posture was casual, but it also revealed his unique coldness.
The smoke between his fingers had accumulated a long gray line.
Emma subconsciously bit her lips and bit the pink lip until it turned white. She suppressed her voice and said, “Archie, do you regret it? Regret for falling in love with me, regret marrying me, is that so?”

Emma let out a tight breath, as if she was relieved because of his words!
She walked in front of him with light steps, with a trace of self-blame in her eyes. “Archie, I really don’t want to make things difficult for you. I really want to try to get rid of everything that has nothing to do with our love. But I can’t do it. Grandpa has raised me up, no matter how bad he is. . . I can’t just watch him go to jail. . . ”
“Stop talking, I know everything!” Archie saw that she was so anxious that her eyes were red. Tears rolled in her eyes. He gently lifted her chin and cut off her explanation that she did not know how to continue.
“Archie, I promise you. If I had not been forced to speak to you, I would not have made things difficult for you in the future. Sorry to trouble you.” Emma was still very uneasy, afraid that he would blame her for being too insensible. Marrying her was equivalent to marrying a burden. She threw herself into his embrace. Tears slid down like a straight line, and her voice carried a sobbing tone.
Archie sighed slightly and gently stroked her long hair and trembling shoulders. Finally, his hand was fixed on her waist. “Don’t cry. How could I not know about your difficulties? After all, you are not a ruthless person. You are the one who is the most real yourself. This is the Emma that I like.”
The words that fell by her ears were the most comforting to Emma’s frightened and helpless heart. She sniffed and laid in his arms without moving.
She just used her nose to echo and did not want to raise her head again.
The man’s arms were dyed with a faint scent of tobacco. It was warm and strong, and it was worthy of her support.
“The matter of the presidential election has been settled. Next, do you have anything you want to do?” Archie’s hand seemed to rub twice on her waist, and then he patted her to ask her what she wanted to do.
Emma naturally heard every word of his by her ear. After thinking for a while, she replied in a muffled voice, “I want to go to work! Can I?”
“Return to Civada?”
“I don’t want to go back there. I want to work in your company. I want to see what you look like when you work.” Emma already knew that Civada was not his company and had been monopolized by Yoseph. How could she dare to go back?
Archie chuckled softly beside her ear. His tone carried a hint of playfulness. “Are you sure you don’t want to go to the company to supervise me?”
Emma’s entire body froze slightly. She quickly lifted her face and her beautiful eyes met the man’s smiling eyes in a panic.
“I did not mean that!” Although she said that she did not mean it, but in the bottom of her heart. . .
Archie saw that she had been seen through and panicked, so he dotingly scratched her wet little face. “If you want to see me work, it’s also good. It saves me the time to think about you when I go to the company.”
Emma’s cheeks immediately turned red because of his words.
“Do you really miss me?” Emma felt a sweetness in her heart which made her heart tremble.
When Archie said love words, he was sincere and serious. It made people want to scold him for being glib-tongued, but they could not find an excuse.
However, they had to admit that what he said was very lethal.
“Of course, other than working, I miss you all the time I have!” Archie was telling the truth.
Emma became even more embarrassed. She turned around with her back to Archie and her eyes were blinking. “What do you want me to do?”
“Thinking about the past, thinking about the present and the future. Maybe this is what a man thinks after getting married.” Archie shrugged his shoulders. For a moment, it was hard to say what he was thinking about her.
“But we have already divorced. This is not what you think after getting married.” Emma’s heart was hurt whether intentionally or not.
Archie’s eyes focused on her hair and laughed lightly. “Are you reminding me that we should remarry?”
“I didn’t dare to remind you!” Emma was teased again. She turned around and looked at him with a red face. “Your grandfather hasn’t agreed yet.”
“I will visit him in a few days. Do you want to come with me?” Archie asked her opinion because he respected her.
Emma’s small hands twisted together uneasily. She thought for a while and shook her head. “I don’t know. I’m afraid that if I go, I will make your grandfather angry.”
“Even if my grandfather is angry, we shouldn’t avoid this matter. The sooner we remarry, the better!” Archie held her tightly clenched hands and passed her thick and hot palms to encourage her. “Come with me. Okay?”
Emma’s beautiful eyes gently looked up until they met his eyes. She bit her lips and finally decided, “Alright, I will go with you. Regardless of whether your grandfather is willing to accept me or not, I will not shrink back.”
“En, when do you plan to go to my company to work?” When Archie heard her say that she would not shrink back, his brows relaxed a little.
“In two days. I want to rest for another two days. Oh right, I want to return to Sandford Family tomorrow to see my grandma.” Emma said in a low voice.
