Aleena’s POV
.
“I know that most of the people here can hear me, but still, I’m using this mic so that even those who haven’t shifted yet can hear us.”, Stephen started, speaking, and throughout the time, his eyes were on me, making me uncomfortable and weird.
I meant the person who barely used to look at me was giving all his attention to me was hard to digest. But then, I knew this was the effect of the portion.
“First of all, congratulation to the Alpha of our pack for finding his mate and also claiming her as his. Second, thank you so much, Luna, for not just accepting our Alpha and also for saving his life. And third to all of us, that we were blessed with such an amazing Luna.”, he said, and everyone cheered at that news while I rolled my eyes, thinking even though he was under the effect of the potion, his Alpha and Luna thing was not going to change.
“Now I know that you all be asking me to choose someone as my chosen mate because a second chance mate is quite rare. In fact, they are the rarest in our world. I can ignore your request for a while, but from the day my brother has found his mate, everyone in my family has been asking me to choose a mate for myself.”
‘They are right.’, Everyone started screaming.

“Silence, please! So, finally, I have decided to choose someone as my mate.”. He announced.

Not just pack members but even the family members were taken back by this news.
“No. She is not from our pack, but everyone knows her because she has been staying with us in our pack for a week now.”, he said and then looked at me again. And trust me, this time, he wasn’t the only one who looked at me. A lot of eyes followed the direction in which he was looking at.
I would have been jumping in happiness if I had gotten this attention from Daniel, but through the Beta, everything was different, even the feelings.
‘Is she the one?’
‘She made Beta Stephen apologies in an insulting way.’
‘I thought they hated each other.’
‘It means it’s true that sometimes the love story starts from hate.’

“I guess most of you have already guessed it. Still, I will announce her anime in front of everyone that she is none other than the younger daughter of Alpha Francis Williams and Luna’s younger sister.”, he announced. A lot of gasps could be heard from this announcement.
‘What are the crowd talking about, Aleena? Why did you make Stephen apologize in an insulting way? And why did he do it because of which he apologies in the first place? Is there anything that I don’t know? Because as far as I remember, Eva only told me about Daniel’s incident, nothing else.’, Dad asked through the mind link.

‘Dad, actually…
I started speaking but was disturbed in between when I heard my name being called. “Aleena, I’m sorry for doubting you. I thought it was you behind the attack which happened on Alpha and Luna..” Stephen said, stepping down from the stage and started walking toward me.
There you go, he himself answered the question that dad asked me. “I’m really sorry for that. I should have kept you in the cell for more than half a day.” I heard a lot of gasps again. These were from the guest that was here to attend the luna Ceremony. “To be honest, that day when I apologized to you, I wasn’t at all sorry. But tonight, the crowd present here are the witness that I meant my each and every word with the whole heart.”, he added and came near me.
“That day, I knelt in front of you for apologizing, and tonight…” saying this, he got on one knee for me. “I’m here on my one knee to ask you that please give me a chance so that I can spend my whole life to make to realize that I’m indeed sorry.”, he finished. I would be lying if I said that I didn’t stop breathing for a few minutes.

I wanted all this attention and love wanted from Daniel. Not some low-class version of Daniel. I looked at my dad, who was highly impressed by his speech and not at all mad at him for keeping his Princess in the cell.
“Aleena, answer him your decision.”, Dad reminded me with a big smile on his lips, which indirectly wanted me to say YES. Not that he would be mad if I would say NO.
‘Say YES, Aleena. Are you going to take months to answer him?’ Mom’s voice rang in my mind. I didn’t want to do this. ‘Don’t forget that he is the bridge for you who will take you near Daniel.’, She reminded me.
“Please get up on your feet, Stephen.”, I muttered, looking at him.
“Not until you forgive me by saying me YES.”, he said lovingly. I literally couldn’t digest his overflooded love.
I bent a little and grabbed his arms, pulling him to stand on his feet. “Then it’s a YES. Now, please get up.” hearing my words, his smile widened, and he got on his feet and then looked at my dad. “Alpha Williams, would you mind if I will say that I want to marry her, right now, right here? Because I don’t want to spend a day without her. And now that Luna Ceremony is over, I doubt you will let her stay here.”, he proposed.
Woah! He was faster than the bullet train of Japan.
Hold on! Man. I wanted to say, but again, Mom’s voice rang in my mind again, ‘The faster you will marry him, the faster you will get a chance to be with Daniel. What are you planning to get married to him? After a month, huh? By that time, Daniel and Eva will announce the heir of the pack. You have to make sure that you will have to sleep with Daniel and get pregnant with his child before Eva.’
“Well, what can I say about it? That should be Aleena’s decision.”, Dad said, looking at me.
‘Agree to marry HIM right now, right here.’, Mom said. I closed my mind link because she was disturbing me a lot. She had never pressured me to do anything like this. I wanted to marry and claim Daniel, and in the end moment, everything changed. Before marrying him, I also needed to take Leia’s thoughts over this, not because I wanted to give her priority but because I didn’t want to land into trouble when she would be in control.
‘Leia, I hope you don’t have any problem marrying him because he doesn’t have any mate. In that way, I’m not snatching anyone’s love or mate.’ I talked with her, knowing that she wouldn’t speak a thing whenever I would be in control of this body.
‘Going to marry him and thinking of sleeping with his brother, huh?’, She growled angrily. ‘I don’t have any problem if you marry him, but as long as I’m here, that wouldn’t happen. I won’t let you do that with him or anyone.’, She added with another growl.
‘But you said that you won’t interfere in my time.’, I reminded her.
‘Yes! I remember what I had said. But I didn’t remember anything that I promised to make your life a living hell if you stoop this low. I swear to Moon Goddess, I will make your life that miserable that you will be begging to die, but I won’t let you even die. I dare you, Aleena, that if you act like whore then the next morning you will find yourself at the brothel.’, Growling for one more time, she blocked me.
