“Guess.”
Derek suddenly stopped. He felt that it might be fun to tease her.
“Get out of here!”
Serina was almost collapsed. Derek kept teasing her. She would have shot him at his head if she had a gun!
“Try again. Maybe you can find out the answer.” Derek curled his lips.
Serina sat on the ground and wailed, “Why you bully me? Why do you keep asking me to guess?”
Serina had never lost on bickering before she met Derek. She had never prevailed since they met!
Derek was good at bickering!
Derek was amused after Serina sat on the ground.
“Come on, stop crying,” he said and squatted down.
Before Derek was about to wipe away her tears, Serina hardly slapped his hand away.
It was so hard that Derek’s hand had turned red.
“Stop crying. Then, I’ll let you know.”
“Tell me.” Serina immediately sniffed.
Derek was impressed that Serina could control her tears.
“Tell me now! You’re lying again!”
“No, I’m not.”
“What do you mean?”
Derek lifted Serina’s chin, “What a seductive woman you are.”
She was so alluring that he wanted to lay her down when he saw her.
“Tell me what it is?”
“Do you want to know?”
“Yes,” Serina said without any hesitation.
“Do it with me once more and I’ll tell you.” Derek horizontally picked her up and walked into the bedroom.
“Hey, stop it!”
Serina sat on the bed and wiped her tears. Derek started to take off his clothes. He pushed Serina on the bed after he only had his underwear.
“I promise that I will tell you after this.”
Derek’s breathing was uneven. He pressed Serina under him. He wanted to do it during the day but had to stop because something came up.
Soon, Serina lost in the emotion of desire.
Derek looked at her with heavy breathing while Serina shyly wrapped her arms around his neck.
His body was hot, and so was hers.
“Can you tell me now?”
Derek said with a smile, “A man will only make love to a woman when he loves her.”
“What?”
Serina heard it clearly but did not understand.
“Don’t you understand?”
Serina blinked and asked carefully, “Do you love me?”
“Guess.”
Derek didn’t speak out that he loved her, but he meant it.
“Again! But we did it when we first met.”
Did he fall into her when they first met?
Derek did not speak more.
“Did you fall into me when we met?” Serina wrapped her arms around his neck and looked into his eyes.
Derek didn’t ask her to guess again. He was in a daze.
“Is it really difficult for you to say you love me?” Serina continued.
“I’ve said it before.”
Serina curled her lips and turned her face away arrogantly, “What happened between you and Zoe of Webber Group?”
“It is about business.”
Derek answered simply.
“Business? What kind of business did you guys have?”
Derek did not answer. Instead, he reached out his hand and touched Serina’s face.
“Also, why did you agree to divorce me?”
If Derek loved her, why did he sign the file? Wasn’t it unusual?
“I haven’t seen you for a week. Are you sure you are going to talk about these boring subjects?”
“What else can we do?”
Derek kissed her again.
Ernest drove downstairs. He went upstairs humming all the way and opened the door. After walking in, he heard sounds coming from the bedroom.
It was a woman’s moan and a man’s heavy breathing.
As an adult, Ernest knew well what they were!
He walked to the bedroom and peeked through the crack of the door. He saw two people on the bed rolling.
They were Serina and Derek.
Ernest was shocked and shaking. He couldn’t believe what he saw!
“I love you, Derek. Say you love me.”
It was Serina.
Hearing these, Ernest felt chills all over his body.
He froze before could move and left the apartment several minutes later.
He sat in his car, putting his head on the steering wheel. His mind was empty!
Derek finally let Serina go after she begged.
He put on his clothes slowly and smiled with satisfaction.
“Are you leaving now?” Serina lay down on the bed.
After buttoning his shirt, Derek turned around, and pinched her face, “Do you want me to stay?”
Serina reached out her hand and pushed Derek’s face away.
Why did he come so close to her? Did he try to seduce her again?
“I’ll ask my mother to grand you the port cabotage right.”
“Why? Do you think that your husband is not capable enough to handle it?”
When hearing him saying her husband, Serina was surprised and happy.
“No. You are capable. After getting the S City port cabotage right, maybe you can spend more time with me.”
“What shall we do when we are together?” Derek asked with an evil smile.
Serina instantly understood. She immediately covered her face with the blanket, “What a shameless man you are.”
Derek removed the blanket and watched her flushed face.
“I will spend more time with you. Don’t worry.”
It sounded that Serina desperately wanted to be with him!
“I have to go back to the crew in a couple of days.” Serina nodded.
“Stay away from Ernest.”
“What?”
Serina wanted to remind Derek that they would be separated in a few days. Why did he mention Ernest?
“Are you jealous?”
Serina was excited about her discovery.
Derek snorted and did not reply.
“Are you jealous? Ernie and I are good friends. We are not in a relationship. We play games together!”
“What?” Derek stared at Serina. What the hell did she mean?
Could it be that…
“Yes, He’s my best friend. What’s wrong with that?”
“I’m your husband. You should keep distance from other men, even my nephew!”
Serina blinked, “But…”
“No buts!”
