Derek hadn’t fully recovered yet. His ribs were broken, and it would take him a long time to recover.

He propped himself up on his arms and stared at Serina who was sleeping soundly on his thigh.
She was in a deep sleep.
Derek really didn’t want to wake Serina up.

“Did you sleep well?”
