Book:You Are Smothering Me, Handsome Published:2024-5-1

Serina did not know how long she had been walking.
She had walked from dawn to dusk.
She did not drink any water or eat any food.
Finally, she was tired of walking and sat in the corner.
She stared at ants on the ground in confusion.
At this moment, she realized how important a family was!
But she had no home.
Ever since her mother moved out of the Norris’, her home had already changed, and when she signed letter of disowning, she was completely out of home.
As she thought of this, she cried out.
Usually, she looked carefree, as if she never had any worries, but she was still a girl who had just graduated from university.
Suddenly, a coin was thrown before her.
Serina looked up, and a man riding a bicycle passed by her, glancing at her without saying anything.
He was probably treating her like a beggar, right?
She looked at her own body, and she did look like a beggar.
Her face was covered in dirt and her hair was messy. No one would recognize her as Serina.
Another old man came over, threw her a coin, and a girl also gave her a coin.
Serina’s heart was slowly warmed by these people.
There were actually good people in this world. When she was besieged just now, she thought the whole world was full of bad guys!
But she got the warmth as she was mistaken for a beggar.
Serina held the coins in her hand, feeling lost.
Suddenly, two pretty girls walked over. One of them was wearing a light blue dress with loose hair. She looked to be around twenty-five or twenty-six years old. The other was wearing jeans with a ponytail. She looked to be around twenty years old.
“Jessica, look at the beggar.” The girl with a ponytail pointed at Serina and said.
“Don’t talk nonsense. How do you know she is a beggar?”
“Look at her, she’s in a mess, and she is holding coins in her hand. If she is not a beggar, what is she?”
“Maybe she was just robbed, or something happened.” “Why are you here alone?” asked the girl in the blue dress.
The girl with the ponytail pulled the girl in the dress, “Jessica, it’s better to avoid unnecessary trouble. Let’s not get involved.”
“What’s wrong? I’m not a bad guy.” The girl in the dress ignored her.
Serina raised her head and looked at the beautiful girl in front of her. Why did she feel that she was somewhat familiar?
But for a moment, she could not think about who this person was.
“I was beaten,” Serina said slowly.
“Beaten? Why didn’t you call the police?”
Serina sneered. Call the police? Who would the police arrest? All the people around her?
“Where is your home? I can send you back.” The girl in the dress said.
“Home?” When she thought of home, Serina wanted to cry. She had no home.
No, she still had a mother!
“In S City.”
The girl in the dress was a little disappointed. “I’m so sorry. I have some work to do later. If your home is nearby, I can send you back. S City is too far away.”
Serina did not say anything.
The girl in the dress thought for a moment and asked the girl with the ponytail for her wallet. She took out some money and stuffed them into Serina’s hands.
“Take this money. It’s too far from the train station. I’ll send you to the bus station and buy a ticket to S City. You should be there in seven to eight hours.”
Serina looked at the money in her hand and looked at the girl in front of her blankly.
“Jessica, we can’t afford to delay. If we send her to the bus station, we have to hurry!”
The girl in the dress pulled Serina up from the ground and pulled her to the car.
The car drove all the way to the bus station, “The ticket office is right in front of us. Hurry up and go, or else I’m afraid there won’t be a ticket later.”
Serina got out of the car, smiled at the girl in the dress, and went straight to the ticket office.
The ticket seller packed up his things and prepared to get off work. The business hours of the bus station were not longer than the train station.
“Hello, I want to buy a ticket to S City.”
When the ticket seller heard the weak voice, he looked up and found she was disheveled and had a face full of wounds. Could she be a criminal who had escaped?
“Please show me your ID card.”
“ID card?”
“Yes, the rules have just been changed. If you don’t show me your ID card, you are not allowed to buy tickets.” The ticket seller said coldly.
Serina took out her ID card from her bag. Fortunately, she had always had her ID card.
The ticket seller looked at Serina’s ID card but did not find anything fishy. He returned the ID card to Serina and gave her a ticket.
“One hundred!”
Serina obediently paid the money.
“It’s that car. It’s the last one. Hurry up and get in. It’s going to be driven!” The conductor pointed to a blue bus not far away.
“Thank you.” Serina took the ticket to the bus, checked the ticket, and got on.
After sending Serina off as the last passenger, the ticket seller closed the ticket window, and it was time for the regular day to order.
As for Derek, he was crazily searching for Serina. It had been more than an hour, but he still had not found Serina!
Derek picked up his phone and called Lucas. Lucas did not dare to delay and directly called Ernest who was filming.
“Uncle, what did you say? Serina is missing?”
“Tell me all the places she may go! Don’t leave a single one behind!” Derek growled.
“If she wants to play, she can go to a lot of places.” Ernest was also in a dilemma.
“What if she doesn’t go out to play?”
“Then I don’t know.”
“Think about it!” Derek roared.
The phone was smashed and the person disappeared.
Derek could only think in the worst direction.
Ernest thought for a long time, “S City.”
“S City?”
“Serina’s mother seems to be in S City. I just heard her mention it by chance. Serina rarely mentions her mother.”
“Where is it?”
“I don’t know either. I only know that her mother is in S City. I don’t know where she lives, and what her name is.”
“Hayden, go and check all the trains and buses that are going to S City today!” Derek hung up the phone.
“Yes!”
Soon, there was news from Hayden.
“Mr. Derek, there are a total of six trains to S City today. The latest is three in the afternoon, and then it will be one in the morning. There are buses all the day. The latest is in eight thirty.”
Derek raised his hand to look at the time, it was now eight o’clock, “Send someone to keep an eye on the train station, now let’s go to the bus station immediately!”
