Derek pushed open the door of the office room.
He was shocked by what he saw.
“Kill it! Idiot! Go, go, go!” Serina was sitting in front of the computer and playing video games.
“What are you doing?”
“Don’t talk!” Serina immediately stopped Derek, “Kill it! No!”
“Game over!”
Serina leaned back on the chair and said, “It’s so quick.”
Derek walked over and found that it was a game he had recently produced. He immediately glanced at the drawer. He was relieved to see it was shut.
“Do you like playing games?”
Serina straightened up and said, “Yes, I do. Do you know how I know your nephew? Through the game. I even married him in the game!”
Derek frowned.
“However, what’s the game on your computer? I’ve been playing video games since twelve. But I’ve never seen this game before.”
To her surprise, there was really a video game in this world that she had never played before!
To her, this was simply a great humiliation!
Derek smiled and said, “This game is still being tested. It hasn’t been officially released onto the market yet.”
“Really?”
“That’s right, I’m still working on it. I just feel it still needs improvement.”
“What? Did you make this game?”
“Yes.”
Holy shit … the Great Demon King knew how to make games on his own!
Serina had been thinking that a man in his position would only check documents, hold meetings, and sign agreements. Yet, he actually knew how to make games!
You really can’t judge a book by its cover!
“If you have any advice, you can tell me. I might adopt it.”
Serina nodded.
“Alright, go to bed.” Derek touched Serina’s head.
Serina nodded once again, “Tonight, hold me.”
Derek was stunned at first. For all the fact that he held her almost every night these days, it was the first time she had asked him to do so. Usually, he held her at night even if she refused.
“Alright.” Derek reached out his hand to Serina. She put her hand on Derek’s and they walked to the bedroom together.
Back in the bedroom, Serina suddenly asked, “When are we going back?”
“What? Are you tired of staying here?”
“Yes, sort of.”
“But you haven’t seen the turtles lay their eggs.”
“I really can’t wait any longer. I searched about it on the Internet. There’s nothing special. Why don’t we go back?”
Serina smiled unnaturally.
“It doesn’t matter. You just caught a cold and you are on your period. You need a rest. After your period, we will go back, okay?”
Serina was about to say something, but Derek said, “I’m going to take a shower first.”
“Alright.”
Derek walked into the bathroom. Serina sat on the bed and exhaled deeply.
Fortunately, she had heard Derek’s footsteps and Derek had gone straight back to the bedroom so that she could put the documents back in place and opened the computer to play a game.
Over the past few days, Derek took care of her well. She was almost fascinated by his love. Dealing with him was not easy!
He was the one behind all the incidents of the Nathan Group!
No wonder why internet connection was not available on the Water Cloud Island. He was probably worried that Serina would know about Nathan Group’s situation.

She had to get back as soon as possible.
That night, Derek held Serina all night long. However, it was the first time that Serina felt so cold in his arms.
It was not until midnight that she fell asleep.

Hayden was waiting for him.
“How is Nathan Group now?” Derek sat on the chair. It was what he was most concerned about now. Once he solved the problem about Nathan Group, he would leave with Serina.
“Mr. Derek, the LC Group has already reached an agreement with the Nathan Group. The LC Group intends to control 40% of the shares in the Nathan Group. But the whole Nathan Group was in dire need of money so it has not noticed that this is a trap. It regards the LC group as their last hope.”
Derek snorted. He was very satisfied with the result.
“When will they sign the contract?”
“At ten a. m. tomorrow. The Nathan Group has already announced the news on its official website. Obviously, they really think that LC Group wants to help them.”
“Very good. Once they sign the contract, we will go to the next step. I want to buy the Nathan Group at the lowest price.”
“Yes, Mr. Derek. Nathan Group’s share price has already fallen to its lowest level. Now, it is because of the LC Group that it has recovered. Once the contract is signed and LC Group withdraws its capital, the share price will plummet.”
Serina was shocked to hear this outside the door!
Derek was trying to ruin Nathan Group!

Serina tiptoed back to her bedroom and call Sammy. It was all she could do now.
“Hey, Sammy!”
“Serina?” Sammy’s voice sounded tired.
“Sammy, listen to me. Don’t sign the contract with the LC Group. This is a trap!”
“Serina, what are you talking about? Nathan Group is in an unprecedented crisis. Signing the contract with the LC Group is the only way to save the Nathan Group.”
“No! This is a trap…”
“Sammy, who are you talking to?” Clara’s voice suddenly came from the phone.
Before Serina could finish her words, Sammy hung up.
“Fucking bitch! You ruined all!”
Clara was with Sammy so he couldn’t talk to Serina. So she decided to call him again after a while. But when she called again, she couldn’t get through to Sammy.
Clara must have put her on the blacklist!
She had to think of another way to contact Sammy!
