Mia had an inspiration. “Clara, I have a good idea.”
“What’s it?”
“Your family doesn’t allow Serena to come to the wedding, but you can find a way to have her come. Characteristically she’ll definitely cause a scene at the wedding.”
Clara frowned but did not interrupt her.
“First, the news about your wedding is bound to attract more attention the next day. Second, your sister must be notorious for turning your wedding into a farce. Third, you can take the opportunity to blame her for causing your miscarriage. By then, your family will definitely hold her accountable.”
Mia prided herself on coming up with this idea. “Kill three birds with one stone! What do you think?”
“Mia, I only have one marriage in my life and I don’t want it to be ruined!” Clara’s expression was full of reluctance. “I’ve thought about it too, but on second thought, it’ll be a pyrrhic victory at best. So let’s just dismiss the idea.”
Heard Clara’s rejection, Mia looked somewhat unhappy. “That’s up to you. But, Clara, let me remind you that among so many female stars, only a few can rise to fame. Once the public find out about your pregnancy, don’t blame me if I’m not able to do anything.”
Clara opened her mouth, but no word came out.
She was clear about what Mia said.
‘Nowadays wave after wave of young girls are obsessed about going into entertainment. One wave of them hasn’t gained fame and is immediately replaced by the next one.’
To be famous, one needed not only strength, but also luck and popularity.
She didn’t star in any of the TV shows she acted in. It was just because of the news that she would marry Sammy, heir to the Nathan Group, that she gained some popularity on the Internet.
The Nathan family was rich and influential in City Z. Mia took the opportunity and arranged work of one year for Clara. And the movie she was about to film was a big-deal production for this year.
She might probably shoot to fame!
However, Clara was a girl and wedding would the supreme moment in her life. She hated it if someone ruined it.
“Mia, don’t worry. I’ll get everything settled.” Clara compromised with Mia.
Mia glanced at her. “You’d better keep your promise. Otherwise, I have to give up on you.”
Clara nodded. This was how agents did things. If they failed to make someone popular all the time, they would give up directly.

Serena thought that she could finally get some peace after Derek left, but now she found that it was too quiet here.
She was so bored!
She had tried to escape and got drunk previously, so without Derek’s permission, she couldn’t go out.
Serena sat on the sofa, watching a program from an unknown national radio station on the 70-inch screen. There were a few bags of snacks and plates of fruit on the tea table.
Even food couldn’t relieve her boredom!
Henry heard the sound of a car outside the door and went out quickly.
Serena also sat up. Was Derek back? That couldn’t be. Didn’t he say that he would spend four days there? It was just the first day!
Why would Derek be the first person that came to her mind?
“Mr. Ernest, you’re back.” Henry stood respectfully at the door.
Mr. Ernest?
Serena immediately lit up. Ernest was back!
As soon as Ernest entered, a familiar figure rushed towards him and gave him a hug. “Ernest! I’m so happy to see you!”
Ernest only felt something pressed against him. Hearing this familiar voice, he revealed a bright smile. “Do you miss me that much?”
Serena let go of him and replied, “Of course! I’m gonna die of missing you!”
While speaking, Serena, with smiling eyes, raised her hands to pinch his cheeks.
Even though it hurt, Ernest said nothing and looked at her quietly after hearing that she missed him.
Seeing how intimate they were, Henry shook his head and coughed to remind them.
Ernest hurried to push Serena away. She could have a problem with boundaries, but he couldn’t.
Henry was Derek’s butler. If Ernest did anything wrong, he would tell Derek immediately.
“Mr. Ernest, have you visited Mr. Andrew and Ms. Lauren?” Henry said with a smile.
“Yes, and I came back from their place.” Ernest replied with displeasure.
“Well, I was just wondering.”
Serena held Ernest’s arm and said, “I feel so bored here! Let’s go have some fun first!”
Ernest knew what Serena meant, but he subconsciously looked at Henry, whose face had turned pale!
The marriage between Serena and Derek was unwanted, but she was now indeed Ernest’s aunt in name!
“Well … OK, I brought a new set of game equipment. Let’s fight it out today!”
Hearing this, Henry breathed a sigh of relief.
“That’s great! Let’s go!”
There was one guest room for Ernest on the third floor. Although he hated to live with his uncle, he had to stay here for most of the time.
They were sitting in front of the TV with their hands on game controllers. The two warriors on the screen were fighting together under their control.
“Dodge about! I’ll go first!”
“Kill! Jump over! Jump over!”
The two warriors fell to the ground one after the other, and they lost the game.
Serena threw the controller away and laid on the floor.
Ernest patted her belly. “What’s wrong with you? You’ve regressed so much and even held me back!”
“Get out! I’m not in the mood for that. I’ll show you my strength when I feel better!”
Ernest snorted. “What happened? Let me guess, Sammy and Clara are going to have a wedding, aren’t they?”
“Why would you bring up this sore spot?” Serena glared at him without moving.
Suddenly, she sat up and asked, “Did you get the invitation?”
“No, I’m not a friend of them. How could they invite me?” Ernest shrugged.
Serena’s hope had just been rekindled but shattered immediately.
“What? Do you really want to stir up trouble?”
Serena leaned closer to Ernest and told him her plan. “Stir up trouble? It’s much more than that!”
Ernest was shocked with his eyes wide open. He looked at Serena who was proud of herself. “Are you crazy?”
“Of course not. This is my plan for revenge!”
“Serena…”
Serena covered Ernest’s mouth with one hand and said, “If you’re my buddy, don’t ask me to give up!”
Ernest took her hand away and looked down.
Serena patted him on his shoulder. “Well, you have to do me some favors. Fortunately you’re back, otherwise I don’t know what to do.”
