Kolten’s pov
“Father Samuel, why are you leaving us? Why did you say you don’t know when will you comeback?” Hale is crying while his arms are wrapped around Samuel’s neck.
“One day, we will meet again. Don’t be sad.” Samuel solaced him. He wiped our son’s tears.
“Why? Frost world clan is not very far, uncle Alex said it will just take few hours to arrive there. Can I visit you there? The little boy bargained.
“I will not be there even if you go, I will go somewhere farther, the thing is very important.”
Samuel is being lost for explanations.
“Daddy Kolten, can’t we go with father?” My boy went down Samuel, and came running to me.
“I am sorry dear, but we can’t, daddy has a lot of things to do here.” I explained.
Hale scratched his cute little eyes. Confused and totally sad.
He exited the area crying. I let him, he will feel better in a few moments.
Samuel nodded, and with his sad eyes, he went on.
While I was watching him walk away, my heart beats are racing. Every breath I am taking are hurting me really bad.
I wanted to go after him and stop him, I really do.
But maybe, yes maybe not this time.
The day will eventually come, I want to allow myself to reflect a little more.
Going back, he deceived me in that bar, he used me to give him a child that will unify inferno wolf clan and frost wolf clan.
He almost killed my parents.
When I went amnesia, he deceived and lied to me again.
What good has he done to me? It was only when he saved our son Hale that he sacrificed himself. But was it really a sacrifice of love and affection as a parent? Or was it in a purpose of saving our son to become his greed weapon?
What if my theory is right? What if he is up to something terrible against my clan?
They said that his grandfather took his own life, but what if he used black magic again and he is alive watching somewhere? What if he will use Samuel for his plans again? What if?
Am I in no position to doubt Samuel? Am I unreasonable to choose my clan’s welfare than my foolish heart?
My fathers were looking at me, while I was looking at Samuel slowly fading away.
I didn’t look at them instead left them for my room.
Somehow, my eyes need to release something.
As long as I entered my room, my tears kept falling. I cannot help but let it be.
My mind was so exhausted that it put me to sleep after crying.
I was awaken by commotions outside my room. I went out to check.
“Hale is missing!” My father Patrick was worried.
“What?!” I was shocked and scared. Where did he go?
“How long is he gone?” I asked in fear.
“His guard thought that he went to his room when he was crying for his father Samuel. But when we checked for him to eat, he is not there.” My father calmly explained.
I ordered everyone to look around. He must just be around.
He cannot go anywhere. The search took hours but Hale was nowhere to be found.
I don’t know what to think. I am very furious and scared. Who took him? I am looking everywhere, I went to Samuel’s room but he was not there.
“Samuel, he might have taken Hale.” My father Elvis concluded.
“How could that be? We all saw him leave without Hale?” Father Patrick protested.
“But there is a possibility that Hale followed him.” the latter explained.
My face turned sour! Dare he steal my son from me, I won’t know what I can do to him!
I immediately prepared myself. I will go to frost wolf clan. I will destroy them! I will kill them all! Dare them take my son from me! Of all the trust and chances given to them!
“Father! I need all our men!” I asked permission.
“What are they for?” my father king asked.
“Give me all our skilled men. We will go get my son from the frost wolf clan!” I am very furious this time.
“But you are not sure that he is there? What if he went missing in our hands? Be calm.” Father Patrick calmed me.
“No, I am certain. Very certain that Samuel took him! I will kill him!” all my thoughts are now clothed of anger.
“You go but be calm and don’t start a fight.” My father’s reminded me.
“But if I find out that my son is with them, expect me to be back dead or alive.” I left my last words then of we went.
Alex’s pov
The castle is very peaceful, since I became the king. A few rules were changed. Our people are now free to do whatever they want. Those who wanted to go to the normal human world were allowed, with a condition that if they are needed, they must be a call away.
Since my bigger brother Samuel went back to life, he did not want to take charge the position already.
He chose to live with Kolten and their son with the inferno wolf clans. This somehow is a relief. This means a peaceful unification for inferno and frost wolf cans. And soon when my nephew, Hale reaches the proper age. He will take charge for the ruling of two clans.
I am excited to see how this formal unification happens. With Kolten’s upbringing I am sure there will be no greed be honed on him.
I could not imagine how life makes it turn. It can be a funny joke or the other way around.
Kolten and Samuel’s story is unusual. Even I was shocked when I learned about their possibility to have a child back then, and even more stunned when I learned that Kolten was a product of two alphas.
“Give me back my son!”
A loud voice was coming from the main entrance of the castle.
I am not sure but I think it was Kolten’s.
I rushed out to see what’s happening.
“Kolten?” I was confused. He is really mad. His eyes are read and seem ready to bite anytime.
“Give me back my Son or blood will flood this area!” Kolten is deadly. He can change form anytime. I can see that in his eyes.
“Kolten, why are you looking for your son here? I thought he is with you and Samuel?” I asked still confused.
“Don’t act like you don’t know anything! Tell your brother to bring me back my son!”
I tried to calm him to come and talk inside but he resisted. He is really insisting that Samuel and Hale are here.
Gaging the situation, if we go to war. I am sure my clan will be defeated. Almost half of our community has left the castle. It will be too late to call for help.
What happened? What did Samuel do? I too don’t know, but I am determined to settle things civil. I cannot allow two clans to hurt each other.
It should never be because of misunderstanding.
“Kolten, please calm down. Samuel is not here. The last time of his visit was already two weeks ago. Whatever happened, let us settle it peacefully. Tell me what happened.” I am calm but determined to settle accounts peacefully.
“He left our castle this morning, and when I woke up I was told that my son is missing.”
Kolten explained what happened between him and Samuel.
I am saddened by what I heard but I am sure that Samuel cared about Kolten to hurt him again by taking their child away.
“If you say that you saw him left with Hale behind, how are you going to prove that he took your child? Did he followed him somehow? Was he crying? Did he not want his father Samuel leave? Those are the scenarios that may cause him to follow Samuel.”
“Yes he was crying, he doesn’t want Samuel to leave.” Kolten’s answer cleared thoughts in my mind.
“Okay, let us go check on them in our family’s villa at Ambrent city. You know that place, you two lived there together before. That is the only place I know Samuel could go. “
I comforted and offered Kolten help.
