Madonna was saying about the gift for Raina but she looked at Arien.
“Sister, I would like to gift you something” the screen behind her dropped.
“All of you please be seated and enjoy” Madonna waved her hands. And all the people found places to sit.
Not knowing it was intentional or not but Arien sat at the center. Devian was beside her.
Madonna slowly walked at the side of the stage and the projector started playing pictures.
Devian murmured in Arien’s ears avoiding everyone’s eyes “I’ll come from the washroom”
Arien nodded and he walked away. Dean followed.
The people were enjoying the show.
After a while there were pictures of Raina in the office. There were photos with almost all her colleagues.
Then came a photo of Arien. It was taken when she first met manager Andrew. She had her signature smile.
Arien frowned. Why was this photo put there?
Then another photo came where a man was holding her and it was taken in an angle deliberately showing that Arien took the initiative to hold hands.
There were waved of pictures of Arien. Some with Andrew and some even with Harry Chester.
Madonna, who was standing in the corner suddenly tried to put up an act.
“I don’t know where these pictures came from” she said.
She took the remote control and pretended to end the show but she purposely dropped it and the remote broke into pieces.
Arien was still calm on the surface but she didn’t know why was this act being put up?
“Ahh I’m so sorry” Madonna was putting a nice act to stay in good terms with director Lyle.
If he would come to know that she used his pictures as well to slander Arien he will not spare her so Madonna already made herself at the safe side avoiding such a situation.
Next was a picture of Arien and a handsome man who was none other than Devian.
He was holding her in his arms. She remember the scene when they were close. It was when she was feeling uneasy and came over to his office to check on him.
There were picture of her even with men she had never met! Arien would remember the faces of people she met only once but these men, she haven’t even seen them. The pictures were all edited and photo shopped.
But, about the photos of her and Devian, how were those picture taken? There was no one around. And how Madonna had those pictures of her not only with Devian but also with Harry!
How did Madonna know about Harry?
Arien could figure out that it was not Madonna alone but there were other people.
Arien also had doubts on Andrew since he said to not let anything happen, today in the morning. That was definitely a threat or some kind of warning.
There were more intimate photos of her and Devian together which was intentionally showing that Arien was the one to take the initiative to hook up with all men.
Arien just sat there and squinting her eyebrows looking at the slide show.
Jane, who was sitting beside her held Arien’s arm tightly. She could also sense that something was wrong.
“Arien what’s going on?” She asked.
By this time, everyone’s gaze were shifting between the screen and Arien.
After a while the show ended, finally and everyone looked at Arien with disdain in their eyes.
“I didn’t know she’s like this!” A colleague spoke.
“She seduced our director Lyle and even the young master of Chester corp!” Another added.
“Who knows what all ridiculous things she has done?”
Everyone started talking about the pictures.
Arien stood up with her back straight and her signature smile in her face.
“How can you judge me just by looking at some edited pictures?” She spoke looking confidently at them.
Madonna, who acted to be to innocent just now, spoke up.
“Miss Jenner, I hope you feel a bit shame saying these pictures edited after you are exposed.” She looked at her with ridicule.
“You should know well who needs to be ashamed, isn’t it, Miss Madonna?” Arien was still calm.
Why should she be ashamed. These all were just made up to show Arien on a bad light. Moreover she hasn’t done anything wrong.
“You’re still acting innocent, Arien?” Looking at Arien’s calm attitude Madonna became furious. What if she proved that she was innocent then what would happen to her plan?
“You’re such a whore. You knew that director Lyle is married, yet you tried to seduce him? You’re so shameless!”
Thinking that everyone would turn against her, Madonna started shouting and cursing her.
“Look, this women still don’t have a bit of guilt in her eyes. She seduced our director who’s already married, she could also seduced your husbands. Don’t you hate such homewreckers? Guys, this kind of women are curse to one’s parents!” Madonna tried to persuade the crowd speaking in the microphone.
Some of the people even started believing in Madonna’s words and started cursing her.
Arien walked to the stage unhurriedly.
Hearing Madonna talking about her parents Arien’s anger rose to an extreme.
She reached to Madonna’s side and slapped Madonna saying, “You shouldn’t have bought my parents into this matter.”
“You bitch, you dare to slap me?” Madonna pounced at her to slap her back but Arien held her wrist before her hand could reach Arien’s face.
With just a little force Arien, who had know taekwondo, could’ve broken Madonna’s wrist.
Seeing that she couldn’t fight Arien, Madonna’s expression changed but she thought of something else and turned to push Arien.
She was off guard and she fell down with Madonna’s sudden push.
Madonna then turned to the people and stated convincing them that the pictures were true and almost succeeded.
Arien tried to get up but as she stood she felt a sharp pain in her leg. Because of falling she sprained her leg.
She still stood up forcing all her weight on her left leg.
Almost everyone present there started talking bad about Arien.
But she only cared about what would he think if he sees these fake pictures of her with other men. Will he believe that or believe Arien instead?
She was thinking about him and suddenly her eyes filled with tears but she didn’t let them out.
“My parents are gone. If he decides not to believe me what shall I do?” She could only think about him.
“Assistant Dean, what’s happening here?” A pleasant voice sounded from behind the crowd.
Everyone turned their head to the source of the voice and saw Devian standing at the back.
They cleared the path from him to Arien making her visible to him.
Devian’s gaze locked onto Arien’s face.
