We drive in silence for a few minutes, I didn’t know where he was taking me but I didn’t really care at this point, he was actually the first to speak.
“We’ll drive for a while until we find a safe place to stay for the night,” he says breaking the silence, I just shake my head continuing to look out the window.
“We had a safe place to stay but you’ve just pulled us away from that,” I say, still looking out the window seeing all the trees and hills we drove past.
“Do you really think that guy you went to see is gonna keep to his word? he’s probably got people there already looking for you” he says annoyed turning the corner, which thinking about it was probably true, I’d only known him a little while but I wouldn’t trust him even if I knew him for years.
“This is all your parent’s fault!”I shout not caring about his feelings at this point, he looks at me but turns back to the road annoyed.
“I’m sorry my parents took you in and looked after you,” he says, but I slam my hand on the car angrily.
“Your parents kidnapped me!” I shout, which makes him hit the breaks making the car stop suddenly, it’s lucky I was wearing a seatbelt.
“What are you talking about?” He asks annoyed at me but I cross my arms looking over at him.
“Didn’t you hear what Reece said back there, I was taken from my parents when I was a year old” I say, but he points in my face with his finger.
“You don’t know that’s my parents,” he says, but I just give him a look.
“My wolf told me last week it was your parents that kidnapped me, I didn’t tell you cause I don’t want to hurt your feelings,” I say, but he punches the car window causes it to smash, okay wow.
I get out the car walking away he also gets out calling my name, I ignored him jumping a fence so I was walking through a field, he wasn’t far behind.
“This is stupid, Savannah stop,” he says taking my hand pulling me back to stand in front of him “do you actually believe my parents kidnapped you?” He asks kind of annoyed but also curious I think.
“I think they did, before you turned up I had another flashback, your parents were in it,” I say which makes him look to the floor, he picks up a rock-throwing it where it smashed into a tree
“Ryan calm down,” I say placing my hands on his shoulders, but he doesn’t seem like it was working.
“My parents took you from your parents, why would they do that!” He said throwing another rock, why the heck is there so many rocks around here?!
“I know what they did but-” I say, but he cuts me off turning around.
“You could have been with your family, but they pulled you away and forced you to live with us and not your real family,” he says in a sad tone, I wrap my arms around his neck forcing him to stop throwing rocks, he immediately hugs back.
We stand there for a few minutes, in the distance I see a bunch of people making their way towards us, I remain hugging me but didn’t take my eyes off them.
“Ryan there’s a bunch of people heading our way,” I say, he turns us and pulls away but acts like he’s not looking.
“Come on,” he says grabbing my hand running us away, but as I look back the people were also running.
“Ryan,” I say in a scared tone, this made him start running faster pulling me with him.
We run as fast as we can I felt like my legs were gonna fall off, every time I’d look back it seemed like the people were getting closer and closer, which made us go faster and faster. Ryan stops us dramatically this was when I saw a bunch of other people in front of us, I turn to the side to see a group of people running that side too.
“Ryan,” I say holding his hand so tightly looking around, he puts me behind him but kept moving us in a circle as we were blocked in.
Ryan lets out a growl, warning them to back off but they didn’t, within seconds we were surrounded in a circle of people, they held swords but didn’t move from the circle that they formed.
“Let us go,” Ryan growls, but they don’t even budge, they all even held the same expression.
What the heck is going on?
