POV: Lianne
Ruen pulled up his long-sleeved shirt and then his denim jeans in one fluid motion, and there I saw him, hovering above me like he was in that fateful night when I made love to him here in my bedroom for the first time.
A shiver of yearning exploded inside me when he went to touch me in my most sensitive part. He showed mastery over pleasuring me. I couldn’t help but pant and moan again.
It felt divine. So divine. Every hungry stroke of his tongue on my breasts, every erotic brush of his fingertips on my skin, every pleasurable moan and grumble as we moved as one when he finally thrust his rigid length inside me.
Rocking.
Gliding.
Each thrust drove him deeper. I wrapped myself around him. At least this way, I could stabilize myself from my melting state and eventually, a drowning tide of raw bliss when we finally hit our climax.
My thighs convulsed in ecstasy. It was primal. A thrill he could only give me. And I knew that he felt it too when his lips seized mine hungrily.
“Tell me, Lianne. Does that feel real to you?” he asked with a grin, lying sideways facing me as I turned on my side to face him too.
“Yes, so real, Ruen, and I miss it so, ” I answered whilst giving him a content smile.

The next morning, together we toured the mansion, reminiscing memories of the past. He helped me remember most of the details about the mansion and its eventual history that left it on the pages of the museum library books.
Apparently, except for us, no one knew of the true owners of the mansion. It was abandoned by the time the city progressed and became peaceful, and eventually, the local government named the city, Since, in exchange for the ancient name, Norfew.
Ruen ultimately reminded me of the same village below the mansion’s hill in the past. It was called Norfew village of course.
I, on the other hand, managed to remember bits of my most favorite places like the stables which were the same now, except that the resort owner, Mr. Rafael, upgraded it with modern-day equipment; the mansion’s library which looked exactly the same except for the new furniture in it; the kitchen which was upgraded into a modern-class five-star kitchen; and of course, we didn’t miss visiting his bed chamber a. k. a. the VIP-off-limits room where I first had an encounter with Cain.
And oh speaking of Cain, there wasn’t a clue in him in the mansion. He didn’t make his presence known either, which made me feel at ease.
“What’s the time of your flight, Love?” Ruen asked me as we stood together next to the balustrade of the huge balcony of his bed chamber.
He was embracing me from behind, my hand resting on his wrist. Directly below the balcony, there was an elegant fountain with koi fishes swimming in it. I could see them playfully passing to and from the bubble waves as they hit the surface. The sun was up, almost in the twelve o’clock position, but the air was still cold.
“Four in the afternoon, ” I replied.
“I see, ” he said but then paused for a moment as if he was in deep thought. “Are you sure you don’t want to use my private plane? It would make you feel a lot more comfortable flying and I at ease during your flight.”
I arched a teasing brow at him.
“Hmmm, sounds tempting, but Jen specifically said that we should use the public airplane. It seemed she wanted to have a girl bonding time with the four of us only. It is Alona’s twenty-fifth birthday after all.”
Speaking of which, I need to send her a happy birthday text soon.
Alona was just a year older than me and Jen, while Rachel was two years older. A lunch date was already set up for the four of us today at the Morlave Restaurant at the bayside of the mansion, near the beach. It is going to be fun, I know but men are strictly prohibited, so that means no boyfriends allowed. I remember Jen frowning when Alona mentioned it last night, but she gave in and just said her usual cheery ‘okay’.
“If that’s what it is then, but you have to call me as soon as you land in Fortville National Airport.”
I nodded. “Yes, boss, ” I said and then smiled at him to which he only gave me a good tickle at the sides of my ribs.
I whirled around, laughter ringing loudly in the air, and then paused, looking at him with passion overflowing in my heart.
“I will see you there, ” I whispered and then lifted my face up planning to kiss him on the lips.
It was thrilling to know that he would follow me wherever I go. He knew that my life was in Fortville, and he understood that I should return there. However, he clearly stated that he wanted me to live with him in the rest house sooner or later. He said that last night, and I couldn’t help but think of it as his way of a marriage proposal.
“I will be waiting, ” he answered and then met my lips in another mind-blowing kiss.
