Book:Married To The Most Powerful Man Published:2024-5-28

Gaitan finally understood why she suddenly told him she was inviting him to dinner today.
-How can you not be cautious? Don’t we get along these days?
-Yes, but I… -Yanis didn’t know how to explain it to the other woman, so she tried to keep her tone as calm as possible, “Mr. Gaitan, I’m very sorry, but that’s how dating is, if you don’t like it, it’s perfectly possible to stop immediately.
She didn’t want to drag it out, so she tried to be as concise as possible so the other person could hear her.
Gaitan didn’t have the heart to eat, his own beautiful dream shattered all at once. He had thought he could get away with it later, but who would have thought he would simply say he wouldn’t continue.
-Is it because of the guy from yesterday?
-No.
-Is it? I think it is. You and that guy were having an affair at the table in front of me, and you think I’m blind? You just met the guy yesterday and today you’re telling me no?
-I don’t care what you’ve had with him in the past, let’s find an auspicious day to get married?
-I’m sorry, I don’t like you enough to marry you.
Gaitan’s attitude was still firm, and when he saw that his dream was shattered and hopeless, he was furious.
-Then what Jack said is true, isn’t it? I’ve seen many vain women like you who go to a man’s house when they see he’s rich, having a relationship with a rich man while you use me, a blind date as a backup, Yanis, you’re too disgusting.
Her voice was so loud that it immediately attracted the attention of many people around.
Yanis froze in place, but it was immediately clear that the person in front of her was upset and clearly wanted to embarrass her.
But this man had underestimated Yanis’ mental capacity, and didn’t care about the gaze of others. Yanis picked up his bag and stood up.
-Anyway, I’ve made my words clear to you, sorry, I have things to do in the store, I’ll leave you to it.
Yanis headed straight for the door to settle her account and left the restaurant ready to call a car to leave when Gaitan pounced on her, grabbed her by the wrist and dragged her towards the corner.
-Peraa, how dare you play games with me.
The polite-looking man with glasses disappeared, and now Gaitan looked like a wild animal gone wild, dragging Yanis into a deserted place.
-Let go of me, what are you doing? Help…
Paf!
She screamed and received a slap in the face, and the next moment Gaitan covered her mouth directly.
-Shut up.
-What are you looking at? Haven’t you ever seen a husband beat his wife? This woman is cheating on me, what’s wrong with me teaching her a lesson?
There were many onlookers, but after all, they were still afraid of what was going to happen, and after hearing what he said, they all left.
Yanis was dragged into a side alley.
-Bitch, if I had known you were such a woman, why would I have pretended to act? I’ll see if you can still get married when you get pregnant.
He pulled Yanis’s hand and, despite her kicks and punches, tore off her dress, and when he saw her snow-white skin exposed to the air, a flash of thirst shone in Gaitan’s eyes and he let out a low growl as he tried to pounce on her.
-No! Let go of me! -said Yanis in despair as she realized to her horror that her strength was no match for his.
Bang!
The next second, Gaitan’s whole body shot out and crashed against the wall, falling to the ground with a thud.
Zain, who appeared out of nowhere, kicked Gaitan in the face.
Gaitan lay on the floor, in pain and unable to get up, covering his body and screaming in pain.
But this level of pain did not relieve Zain, his whole body filled with hostility as he approached him step by step.
-Do you want to die?
The words were followed by a foot on his toe, forcefully.
After a scream, Gaitan realized that the hand he had stepped on was the same one that had just torn Yanis’ clothes. Looking at the man shrouded in darkness in front of him, he realized at last that he had messed with a tough guy and hurried to beg for mercy.
-I was wrong, forgive me, I was wrong… if I die, and you’ll pay for it.
However, in response, he was greeted by pain that pierced his other hand.
Presumably the tendons ruptured, so Gaitan simply fainted.
Yanis was terrified, but her senses were still intact and when she was rescued she crouched down and soon realized that her rescuer was actually Zain.
The series of movements Zain made afterwards exceeded Yanis’ expectations.
It was the first time he had seen Zain like this, with nothing but hostility surrounding him.
It was as if he wanted Gaitan dead, and although he fainted Zain did not stop.
Until the very end, words brought Yanis back to sanity.
-Stop fighting, you’re going to die for real if you keep fighting.
-He deserves to die.
As Zain continued, Yanis desperately tried to pull, but could not pull at all, and Yanis finally broke down and cried.
-Don’t fight, I don’t want you to go to jail!
The cries brought Zain back to his senses. He stood still, stopping all his movements. Then, turning slowly, he looked at the girl crying with tearful eyes in front of him, her dark, sunken gaze surfaced with a touch of stoicism.
-All right, no jail time.
With those words, he took off the suit jacket he wore and covered the girl’s body, wrapping it tightly around her.
Zain looked down and wiped the girl’s tears away, stared at the red eyes and high, swollen face for a good while, and lifted her up.
Yanis couldn’t resist reaching out and tugging on Zain’s sleeve as he was gently lowered into the car.
-Is he going to die?
Zain’s eyes cooled at her words.
-No.
-Really? Should I call an ambulance for him?
Zain looked at Yanis, who was still sobbing.
-I, I’m just worried….
-I understand what you’re worried about, I’ll take care of this matter.
Yanis calmed down and finally felt relieved.
-Let’s go to the hospital first.
-No, I don’t want to go to the hospital,” Yanis shook his head vigorously and looked at him with red eyes. It doesn’t hurt… I don’t need to go to the hospital.
She didn’t want anyone to see her in this mess, her clothes were torn.
