“Boom, boom.” I listened for Calvin’s strong heartbeat and only felt my heartbeat quicken.
I thought that aside from the few conflicts, he was actually very good to me and didn’t really hurt me. My dislike for him was mostly based on prejudice, but he was so gentle tonight that I couldn’t help but dislike him.
The room was very quiet, so quiet that only the breathing of two people could be heard.
“Yes.” I nodded and wrapped my hands around Calvin’s waist.
When he said in person that he loved me, even if I was insensitive, I couldn’t refuse anymore. I have vanity, too. When a man like Calvin personally said he loved me, my heart beat faster.
Just give it a try. In the end, if I still can’t fall in love with him, then he shouldn’t bother me anymore.
But, what if I really do fall in love with him? If I give up my heart, will I end up getting squeezed again?
Calvin’s POV
She hummed slightly, but that made my heart beat even harder. I had waited so many years since the first time I saw her, and I finally held her in arms. How could this not excite me!
“Trust me!” I continued to kiss her ear.
“It itches,” she said, pulling back her neck a little uncomfortably and shyly.
“Alexia” my breathing suddenly became frantic, her hand stroking me uneasily.
Alexia’s POV
“Hey!” I felt his hand reach into my clothes and I shyly slapped his hand away.
“Can you give her to me?” Calvin resisted the urge, still stroking me patiently.
“Not now, I’m not ready!” My face flushed with embarrassment, and I didn’t dare look Calvin in the eye.
Calvin paused and nodded, “Well, I’ve waited so many years for you, and I don’t care about this moment!”
I bit my lip and looked up at him, “You’re really not going to tell me who you are?”
“I said as long as you say you love me, I’ll tell you!”
Calvin’s eyebrows drew together, and he felt miserable.
“Hey, why are you angry again?” I saw Calvin suddenly stop talking, and his expression was very angry because he thought I was insulting him somewhere, and I wanted to run away.
Calvin hugged me and immediately pushed me down on the sofa, covering my lips directly.
“You did that on purpose!” After one kiss, I knew he shouldn’t be angry anymore.
“What?” Calvin pretended not to understand and squeezed my chin, smiling.
I urged him, “You’re very creepy, and your facial expressions are so changeable I can’t comprehend it!”
Calvin raised his eyebrows. Was that why she had been avoiding him until now?
“I’ve gotten used to it, I can’t change it for a while, but no matter what, I won’t be mad at you!” said Calvin.
“Really?” I was very skeptical.
“Of course, but you can’t get on my case!” Calvin decided that some things needed to be made clear.
“What’s the bottom line?” I asked.
“To be loyal and not betray me!” Calvin stared me in the eye and said word for word.
“It seems I said it!” I curled my lips.
“Aren’t we loyal to each other?” Calvin kissed me.
“Yes.” I nodded. Actually, I didn’t even take in Calvin’s words because I didn’t think he would be loyal to me.
I didn’t sleep well at night, I felt dizzy in the morning, I went to the bathroom and woke up.
A man was holding a bath towel to wipe his hair.
Calvin also seemed surprised by me who suddenly walked in. He continued to wipe his hair and looked at me.
I unconsciously looked down, very good, Calvin is really taking a bath! Naked! So pretty!
“Sorry, I got the wrong door!” I rolled my eyes violently, turned and ran.
Calvin smiled, he had done it on purpose.
At the breakfast table, “So, right now, I, later…” I couldn’t say it.
Calvin raised his eyebrows. “You must be responsible.”
“Huh?” This man is so cheeky!
Calvin suppressed a smile, then said, “You didn’t yell today!”
“Huh?” What the hell was he talking about? “Why would I yell?”
“Yes, you definitely did, you’ll always appreciate it!” Calvin put the paper down and took another sip of milk.
“Often?” I finally responded, staring sheepishly at Calvin, “Can you stop being so sassy!”
“I wasn’t,” Calvin said innocently. “Obviously it was you who suddenly broke in, I was almost scared of you!”
“Why didn’t I see that you were scared!!!” I continued to stare at Calvin.
“You want to check it out then?” Calvin leaned forward and stared at me with a smile.
“No!” I lowered my head, suddenly remembering my mother. “By the way, there’s something else I want to tell you. My mother said that after so many years of being tired, she was also disappointed in my father. .”
“What do you think?” Calvin looked at me in the eye.
I was silent for a while and then said, “I’m a little reluctant.”
Calvin was silent and waited for me to continue.
I sighed, “But my mom also said she was wrong, and she also said that my dad’s company isn’t working anymore, so I respect my mom’s opinion!”
“Nothing?” Calvin blinked.
“Well, not anymore, give it to whoever they want! I’d rather earn what I want myself!” I said firmly. .
Though I am still very much reconciled, the father who once loved me so much is now so indifferent, but it has turned out that way, and I will say nothing.
“Well, you have to decide!” Calvin hugged me, just hoping he could protect me now.
I actually made that decision because I had been secretly researching. Dad’s company had a big problem and was on the verge of bankruptcy, so there was no reason to fight for him.
Calvin saw my expression change, and so did the expression on his face. He raised his eyebrows and asked, “What are you thinking about?”
“I love you!” I stared into Calvin’s eyes and suddenly said.
Calvin was taken aback and felt like his whole heart was beating wildly, but then he calmed down because he knew I had said those three words on purpose!
“I know!” Calvin was a little crestfallen.
“Then you should tell me now!” I continued to ask.
“Tell you what?” Calvin pretended not to understand.
“Tell me who you are, what our relationship is, and how we met! Why do you like me!”
“What if I don’t tell you?” Calvin smiled wickedly.
“Say it!”, I acted like a baby.
“I changed my mind!” Calvin lifted his lips thoughtfully, “I want you to say those three words to me every day until I’m satisfied!”
“Over the top!” But I just tried it today. I wasn’t going to get the answer today.
“How many people have heard those three words from you?” Those three words excited Calvin a lot, but also made him lose his composure.
“Are you jealous?” I blinked, how could he be so possessive.
“Is it obvious?” asked Calvin.
“Yes.” I nodded, then looked at my watch, “There’s going to be a traffic jam if you don’t get out!”
Calvin knew I was changing the subject, he didn’t ask again, and he was afraid he would get angry after hearing the answer he didn’t want to know.
Today Calvin drove alone until the car was long off, “One!”
Calvin didn’t respond, he turned .
“One! I only have one ex-boyfriend! There’s nothing else!”
Calvin smiled softly.
As I approached the company building, I asked Calvin to stop at the bus stop. Because I didn’t want others to see me getting out of Calvin’s car.
“We haven’t arrived yet, why are you so eager to get out of the car?” wondered Calvin.
“I don’t want to be scolded!” I stared at Calvin with steady eyes.
Calvin had no choice but to listen.
When I got off the bus, I saw that Calvin had arrived as well. He was putting a lot of pressure on me.
Suddenly there’s a good man like me, did I save the earth?
Hey, actually, it’s not bad to have a relationship with Calvin.
I had been busy all morning, but the atmosphere in the department was a little strange today. Several coworkers were looking at me with weird eyes, and a few female coworkers were looking at me askance like they were jealous.
Did these people find out about me and Calvin?
At the end of the morning, I got a call from Calvin, “Come on up.”
“What are you doing?” I turned off the computer and sorted through the files in my hands.
“For lunch, Auntie brought soup, hurry up, I’m waiting for you!” Calvin hung up after talking to me, not giving me a chance to decline.
I crept up the stairs.
“What’s taking so long?” Calvin stood by the elevator, and as soon as I came out, he hugged me.
“Hey, let go of me! It’s not good to be seen!” I said nervously.
“No one there!”
We had a leisurely lunch.
When lunch was over, I covered my mouth and went to my seat to sit down, quickly getting the makeup mirror out of my bag. I had just been forced into a kiss by Calvin. I don’t know why he likes kissing me so much. It’s all right now, my mouth is really swollen, what can I do!
“Mr. Smith said he’s picking some secretaries in the company, have you heard about it!” I heard the female colleagues discussing.
“Mr. Smith wants to pick a secretary?” Hearing this, my eyelids twitched wildly, and I had a bad feeling.
Before they could finish their chatter, the computer rang and it was an email reminder. I clicked on it and the contents of the email were as I expected – I had been selected.
“Alexia has been selected to be Secretary to the President?” My colleague saw my horrified expression and came over to take a look, saying excitedly.
The people around us all looked over with envious expressions.
“Alexia, don’t forget about us!”
Hearing those compliments, I couldn’t feel happy. I didn’t want to be a secretary for Calvin. This way, I would run into him at work during the day and see him at home at night, without a sense of distance.
