“Okay, ready?” Hael asked. “This is the rider, as you can see, the posture of the rider isn’t that manly and the body structure isn’t manly, so the witnesses can obviously say that the rider is a girl plus points of the pink sneakers. According to the witnesses, she’s near at the university at exactly seven hours and one minute. One of the witnesses, said that the rider opened her helmet, the witness saw her eyes, the witness saw how she closed her tightly, the other witness said, there’s a hesitation on the rider’s eyes. One of those witness came near to the rider heard her heart that beats so fast, one saw the birthmark on her hand, one had her bracelet. One witnessed how the rider intentionally wants to hit the original subject and the other had the rider’s plate number.”
Rovi can’t believe of what he had heard. He felt unbearable pain on his chest that made him touch it. “Grace, I know you can really do that but why?” he said to the air as his tears kept on falling on his eyes. His jealous of what Grace can do for that person and madness for what that person which that person can’t do for Grace. “If you’ll only remember me, I’ll do everything just to make you feel special.” He heard some knock on the door that made him wipe his tears immediately and look away from the door.
“Doctor Moon would like to talk to you. He wants you to go to his office.” said the nurse.
“Thank you.” he said then the nurse left him and close the door.
He knew what does Doctor Moon wants from him; he can sense it. He’s nervousness became higher when he reached Doctor Moon’s office. He knocked at the door then went inside.
“Glad your here that fast.” said Doctor Moon without looking at him.
He remained silent. Doctor Moon looked at him straight from the eyes. “You lack of focus recently plus you don’t do your job as a doctor to all of you patients. What’s into you, huh?” said Doctor Moon in calm but more emphasis on all of the words spoken. “I know, you’re worried about her, but also think about your patients, too. They also need you. You’re not her private doctor, she’s not the only patient you have. Do you understand?”
“Yes sir. I’m sorry, it won’t be happened again.”
“That’s a must. Don’t do what just you want, do what you need to. Is that clear?”
“Yes sir.”
He heard him sigh. “I’m your friend, that’s why you have to focus.”
“I really am sorry.” he said apologetically.
“If I heard yo—”
“Hey, long time no see?” someone said cut what his head doctor was about to say.
He was stunned when he saw Hael standing while leaning on the door. “What are y—”
“I know, I know. But why so harsh to him?” Hael said then walked towards the table and sat there.
“This is my job, you don’t have to meddle.” Doctor Moon said.
He heard Hael chuckles while signing him to exit. “Come on, I came all the way here just to see you, my friend.”
“Oh, don’t be like that.” Doctor Moon replied with a smile on his lips then look at him. “That’s all for now, you can go back to your work.” Doctor Moon said softly.
He can still hear some conversation from his head doctor Moon and his friend, Prosecutor Leal. He’s curious how his friend, Hael did became friends with Doctor Moon but all he knew is Hael helped him. He called his father. “Dad, can we meet later? I see… Okay, I understand.” he felt sad but he understand.
While he’s doing his rounds. He can’t help but to think on how will he’s going to make Grace remember him. “All I need to do is to make her remember our bonding before, our sacrifices and our love.” he said to himself.
He was about to open the door of Grace’s room when he saw Hael opened it. Their eyes meet as if they were talking. Hael just passed through him without a word. His heart begun to beat wild and followed him. “Hael.” he said, he kept his tone soft and low.
Hael didn’t turn around to look at him. “Don’t worry, she’ll soon remember everything. Just wait and never make a move that will confuse her. Just make her feel comfortable when you were with her especially when both of you are alone. Don’t force her to remember all the bonding and sacrifices you had before especially the love that bounds you before.” he said then left him without a word.
He was confused and curious but he believed him. He trusted him because they knew each other and Hael always support him. He realized that Hael was just making sense to make it easier for him. He smiled. “You really knew how you will help me. Just by simple gestures and making her comfortable when I’m around was really make sense. Thank you.” he mumbled unto the air.
He went to Grace’s room. “Can you feel your feet?” he asked when he saw Grace nod and smile. “Can you move it?” he asked once again and when he saw her moved her feet he smiled. “Okay, let’s schedule your therapy for you to walk again soon. Don’t worry about the expenses, someone sponsored all the needs you need for the therapy. Tonight or tomorrow, your therapists will be here to look at your case. If you have something you need you can ask Nurse Dy.” he said then left the room.
