The Grant’s villa was very luxurious. The prime area of T city was occupied by the Grant family with their swimming pool and garden. After dinner, Ronan took out his car key and wanted to go back with Halle. Grandpa said, “Ronan, I have just come back. Stay here for the night. It’s not too late to leave tomorrow.”

“You sleep on the carpet.” She came back to the key point.

“I just want your concentrated attention. I want grandpa to be at ease.” He said in a sorrowful tone, and it struck and perplexed her.

“Grandpa is ill. He may soon be…”
She pushed off his hands rested on her waist, and then turned and stared into his eyes, “What did you say?” She really could not believe. Grandpa was so nice. She liked him when she saw him for the first time. If what Ronan said just now was true, how hurtful Grandpa would be when she told him the truth? “I’m not cheating. I have his diagnosis. So, I’m asking you seriously. I don’t want him to be suspicious.”

She reacted with a subconscious cry. When she looked up, she caught Ronan’s eyes. She felt sorry for him. She felt that she owed Grandpa a lot. “Halle…” He seemed to be bemused for a bit. He did not expect that she would refuse with such resolution.
“You have enough women, don’t you? If you need to, you can invite them to the apartment. I don’t mind.” In fact, he had not only women, but also men. She saw it with her own eyes.
