Selina pursed her lips and did not say a word. She was still thinking how Manfred looked at her just now. She failed to read his mind from his deep and emotionless eyes. What was he trying to do when he asked her to go?
“Hey, I’m talking to you, you hear me?” Horace was raged and apprehensive, he instantly grabbed her collar. And with that, he saw the mark on her and went mad at once. “Selina Jones, I’ve truly underestimated you. And I wondered why you spent so much time in the washroom! As my woman, how dare you even cheat on me when I was there! You bet I won’t hit you to death today!”
Selina sneered. “Your woman? Now I know the women in the Keith family are goods that can be sold as you want to, or vases that are used to attract attention?”
“You…” Horace gritted his teeth. “Do you want to die?” After finished, he raised his hand high and waved it towards Selina’s face. Selina could almost felt the strong wind from the wave onto her face. Yet he retrieved his hand in just a split second. “You want to provoke me so I can hit you? No way! Mr. Gordon is still waiting for you there, and since you’re already a useless thing, I don’t have to care about you.”
Selina gritted her teeth. “Horace Keith, are you still human?”
“Of course I am, not only that, I even want to become the top of human!” As he finished his words, he straight away tossed her into the car and drove the car away. Manfred who was behind the window at the second floor only put down the curtain and left until the car had gone far away. Horace did not go home, he took Selina to the workplace straight away instead. A meeting had taken place for several nights in the HT Group to start the plan making afresh.
Those who had taken part in the meeting were extremely baffled when they saw Selina. They knew Horace had many women outside, but when had he had such a goddess? The woman’s sorrowful look when she lowered her eyes was exceptionally beautiful. Several young employees had stared at her until they forgot their purpose in the meeting. Horace pulled down his face when he saw that yet he did not utter a word. The plan was finally decided after they worked hard until midnight.
Horace tossed the finalized planning proposal to Selina and glanced at his wristwatch. “I give you two hours, memorize this proposal thoroughly. If anything goes wrong tomorrow, I won’t let you off!” Selina did not make a move nor did she take it over. Those blokes at the side could not help but plead, “Mr. Keith, it’s already too late. Why don’t we all have a rest first? It’s okay to memorize tomorrow. If it can’t be done, we still have our colleagues, it’s gonna be alright.”
Horace glimpsed at them coldly and said, “Get out.” Feeling shocked, they replied, “Mr. Keith…”
“I’m asking you to get the hell out of here! Now!” Those blokes’ face flushed and went pale at the same time. After being in a daze for a while, they turned and left. The rest of the people also found themselves some excuses and left when they saw that. Selina and Horace were the only ones left in the meeting room. Horace sneered. “Selina Jones, look at your charisma. You only sat here for a while, yet there are people racking their brains to plead for you. You really do have some talents!”
“Are you done talking? I won’t go to the Far Eastern, go find someone else!” After finished, Selina stood up. Horace straight away tossed a pile of documents before her and said, “You can leave, but the moment you do, I’ll sign on this paper.”
