Mira’s pov:
The door flew open as the person that I drained meeting stepped inside with a mischievous smile, with heavy eyes I stared at him. He walked towards me with a huge guy behind him who kept giving me a pitiful look.
The guy is huge but you can’t compare him to my mate, the guy that I don’t even know his name, I painfully look at him to know the reason why he was here since he despised me very well.
“What a wonderful scene,” he said with a smirk. I just kept staring at him since I have no strength to stand up or speak, my whole body ached.
“Do you enjoy the food?” He asked, making me confused, I glanced at him as if he had indeed gone crazy. He laughed at me as he noticed my confused state.
“How naive you are, so you have no idea what I was talking about, moron?” he spits horribly at me. I glared at him as he stood up and started pacing around my room nodding his head in a disapproving manner.
I tried standing up and stumbled but before I could make it to the ground, I found myself hanging in the air. I slowly opened my eyes as I followed the direction of the hand holding me still and noticed that it was no other but the other huge guy.
“Thanks….” I forced a smile as I thanked the huge guy but it hurts that it wasn’t my mate who saved me.
“Why did you save her?” He snapped with an emotionless tone.
“She was about to…… he didn’t get to finish as he was interrupted.
“Is it not time you let her down,” he said with the same expression. I smirked at him for his jealousy and possessiveness, he can’t underestimate the mate bond but my smile was wiped out as he let the bomb slip out from his lips.
“This one is just a little compared to the pain that you will keep receiving in the future,” he said to me viciously.
I gazed at him trying to understand what he meant. “How did he know that I was in pain before?” Or was he the cause of it?” I asked myself as many questions kept popping into my head.
“He… he cheated on us knowingly,” Heaven wailed, sobbing hard. “So this was why Heaven hasn’t been responding to me as she was feeling the pain of her mate banging another she-wolf,” who couldn’t it hurt to find your mate fucking another.
I shrink back in pain as I stare at him with a hurtful eye, it hurts that he was the reason behind my pain and agony. It hurts that he didn’t care about my happiness.
“How dare you…” I grit my teeth as I asked him.
“Now you understand….. ugly creature,” he said meanly to me.
“Why do you hate me this much?” I said as tears had already crowded my eyes.
“The moon goddess made a mistake,” he spits coldly.
“The moon goddess never makes mistakes…. She knew the reason why she bonded us together,” I cried out.
“But this, she made a huge mistake,” he said nonchalantly as he shrugged his shoulders. I staggered back as his words cut sharply through my heart, they shattered me into pieces. “Why this much hatred?” I asked myself.
“Why this much hate from the one person that I craved to meet throughout my lifetime,” I cried as I asked myself inwardly.
“You….. you…you hate me…because. of that?” With trembling lips, I asked him.
“I hate you more than anything, your parents made the mistake of not using a condom to prevent you from coming into existence as I hate the air that you breathe,” he spits meanly to me, his words breaking me within.
I gaped at him with my eyes popping out of their socket, “Does he hate our existence?” I asked Heaven with a surprised, painful tone.
“Our mate doesn’t want us,” Heaven cried out as she said to me.
“How could you?!” I surprisingly snapped at him.
“How could you!!!? I half yelled.
“That’s your business, and be ready to be getting more of this pain for eternity,” he said, his eyes as cold as ice.
“Why are you so mean?” I asked as a sob escaped my lips, I can’t control it any longer.
“You deserve every shit happening in your life,” he malevolently snarled at me, I flinched back as I stared at him. I clenched my fists with a heavy breath, swallowing the lump down my throat.
“Hey Heaven……you there,” I whispered to my wolf.
“Yes…. I am with you,” Heaven sniffed as she spoke. I slowly stared at the huge guy behind him, he gave me an encouraging smile before diverting his attention elsewhere.
I feel fucking tired and unstable, I stare at my clothes that were drenched with blood. My demon mate follows my movement as his gaze stops on my clothes.
I thought he was going to ask me the reason for those stains and all the sores and injuries on my skin but who am I kidding when he was the reason behind my pains? His laugh echoes throughout the room as he stares at my vulnerable state.
“What did you do this time? how did you cause me pain?” This is the answer that I drain to know, this is the answer that I didn’t even want to hear but I have no choice, I need to know what will cause me this much pain and make me vulnerable. I tightened my grip on the bed cover as I squeezed the fabric hard due to fear and nervousness fearing the outcome.
The huge guy shifted uncomfortably when I asked my demon mate the question who stood there eyeing me up and down with a taunting smile. The huge guy kept looking everywhere except me.
“I asked what you did this time?” I wanted to yell at him but found myself sobbing, this shit hurt, it hurt! “What have I done to deserve this?” Though I knew what he did, I want to know if he will shamelessly say it.
I was just a lonely child of Alpha of the crystal moon pack, I was the fearest and among the strongest in my pack but right now, I might not be able to say the same. I clung to my clothes as I allowed the tears to flow down like oceans, why do I have a feeling that whatever he is going to say won’t be any good?
