The next morning, Josephine refused Aaron and Daisy’s accompany and took a taxi in front of the hotel. She told the driver the address that had been carved into her heart three years ago. Then, she arrived at that high-end villa area where property price was extremely high.
As if the security guard had expected her to come. Upon seeing her, he opened the gate, and nodded to her respectfully, “Madam.”
A car drove out from the community and stopped in front of her. Regan stepped out of the car and opened the door on the other side for her, “Madam, please get in. Mr. Reginald is waiting for you.”
Josephine rolled up her eyes at him, but got in the car anyway.
When they arrived at Reginald’s residence, the maids and doormen were guarding at the front door, standing in a row and bowing respectfully towards her, “Welcome home, Madam.”
Josephine turned a deaf ear to them.
Regan left after taking her to the doorway of the bedroom where she lived three years ago. Josephine knocked on the door and the man’s low voice came out from inside, “Come in.”
Josephine opened the door and walked in. Reginald was leaning against the floor-to-ceiling window. With both hands in his trouser pockets, he looked unruly. He stared straightly at Josephine with a triumphant smile.
Josephine took a deep breath and met his eyes with indifference, “I want my daughter back.”
Reginald pulled his hand out of his pocket and went to her step by step. He looked at her condescendingly while slamming the door behind her backhandedly, “No problem. As long as you call off your engagement with that man and stay with me.”
Josephine backed up spontaneously. She looked up at him with a sneer, “Mr. Reginald, you must be kidding. It was you who have force me to divorce you three years ago, and I signed the agreement for you and Aurelia. Do you forget that?”
Reginald’s handsome face instantly sank, “Josephine, you finally admitted it!”
“I don’t want to waste my time arguing with you. I’m saying it again. I want my daughter back!”
Reginald’s eyes stared at her sharply. He was in sulk for the indifference and disgust on her face. Like his chest being pounded heavily, he felt out of breath.
They hadn’t seen each other for three years, but all she was talking about was her daughter. Where was the woman who loved him deep in soul? Now, Josephine treated him like an enemy.
Well, if this was the case, he would make the woman in front him fall in love with him again. She was his, and she was always his.
Reginald passed her to lock the door. Then he lifted Josephine and threw her onto the bed. His tall body pressed against hers.
Josephine was pinned under him and couldn’t move. Realizing what was going on, she struggled even more desperately, ”Bastard! What do you want? Back off and don’t touch me!”
Reginald clasped her arms above her head and looked at her in a malignant way. He ripped off his own tie and chest buttons, revealing the skin of his lean, honey-colored chest. Then, he lowered his head and seized her lips.
Surrounded by his breath, Josephine widened her eyes in shock. She turned her head to deflect his kiss and shouted angrily, “You are disgusting! Let go of me, do you hear me?”
Reginald felt a sudden burst of frustration. He fiercely clutched her thin, sharp chin, the anger in his eyes almost burning to her face, ”Josephine! Don’t you dare to say it again?”
Disgusting?
The woman who once loved him deep in her soul now hated him so much?
Since when had his self-esteem ever been trampled on like that?
“You are disgusting! Reginald, don’t bully a woman if you are a real man. It was you who abandoned me and forced me to divorce you. Now you want me back. You are out of your mind!”
Gritting her teeth in hatred, Josephine and said word by word. Her harsh words were full of sarcasm and disdains. Reginald was totally irritated.
“We have already had two babies now. You know I am a man!”
Reginald roared out these words, gritting his teeth. Then, he pinned her with one hand and lifted up her skirt with the other hand. Josephine screamed as she struggled to get up, cursing, “Get out, you get out!”
