Chapter 49 Marrying a Retarded Man

Abby thought that she couldn’t let off Eva and Tina so easily. As for what was the purpose they asked her to come back, she wouldn’t pursue it temporarily.
Tina was relieved in her heart when Tim’s tone began to soften.
Abby burst into sobs pathetically, saying, “Dad, stop questioning Eva. She was drunk last night and she doesn’t remember anything. Forget it. It’s often said that we couldn’t believe the words from a drunken person. I know Eva has always had a grudge against me, so let her vent with her liquor last night.”
The words and meaning of her speech were easy to understand by some people. Those who didn’t understand would feel heartbroken.
Tim frowned again. He had known all along what his eldest daughter had been wronged in this house.
And at this time, Ethan was an effective helper to pour oil on the flames.
“No, mommy… Don’t leave me… I saw it all in our room last night… Auntie was going to beat you… I’m so scared…She looked like she was going to eat people… So terrifying! I don’t want mother to go. You had to take me with you. If Eva drinks again one day, I’m sure she’ll take it out on me… I don’t get eaten…”
Ethan’s words shocked everyone. Even Abby had to admire the boy’s acting!
He was sleeping so soundly when she came back to her room last night.
If Tim had believed Eva at first, he would never believe her again because of the words from a child this time.
“Eva, do you have any explanations?”
Eva bit her head off at Tim’s questioning. And that the behaviors of the little imp were as mean as his cheap mother. When did she beat Abby?
“Dad, could you believe a kid? I didn’t make apologies, so they ganged up on me. And I definitely didn’t hit her. I just scolded her at most.”
“You——” Tim was speechless with anger. “The facts are there, but you refuse to admit them. Is it possible that Ethan could lie at such a young age?”
Eva’s aggrieved tears kept falling down, and she spat out more vicious words.
“Dad, how can you believe this bastard? Have you forgotten how Abby got pregnant? The father was still missing… He’s an illegitimate child who couldn’t become a member of our family…”
Tim slapped Eva hard in the face.
Eva gave a scream and staggered to the ground.
Tina saw this and rushed to protect Eva with a scream.
“Tim, dare you hit my daughter? You can hit me if you want, and you’ll feel better if you kill us both.”
“Tina, get out of the way. If you keep protecting her, what would she become in the future? Listen to her words! Do you think that is what a girl should say?”
“Dad…You, you hit me!” Eva covered her beaten ear with her hand, bitter tears gushing from her eyes.
Especially she saw the scornful smile flickering in the eyes of the damned little imp. One day she would certainly return all these to the mother and her illegitimate son.
Covering her face, she ran to her room, crying.
Tina was shaking with anger. The slap was as if hit her right in the heart. She glared at Tim.
Tim didn’t regret it. He stared at Tina’s eyes and said, “What will our daughter be if we don’t educate her?” Then he turned and went back to his study.
Tina withdrew her eyes and stared wickedly at the Abby and Ethan who were sitting on the sofa.
But for the sake of her plan, she had no choice but to hide all the resentment in her heart.
“Don’t worry, Abby. Eva has been educated by her father. Although the girl is stubborn, she’ll get over it in a few days.”
Abby looked up at her with aggrieved eyes.
Tina forced a gentle smile from her face and said again, “Abby, you could live at home in peace. If you have any trouble, please let me know. Besides, this is your own home, so it doesn’t matter if you can ask for any help.”
Abby nodded and gave her a feigned glance of gratitude.
“Thank you, Tina.”
“Oh, it doesn’t matter.” Tina smiled happily.
Abby took Ethan back to her room.
She felt more stunned, because Tina was still so calm when the things had developed to this stage. What exactly did they want from her that Tina could fit herself to the state of not hitting back or swearing back?
This made Abby even more curious. She seemed to be dying to know what Tina’s purpose was.
The slack of her dress was gently dragged. As she glanced at it, she saw her little boy looking at her piteously.
She smiled and took Ethan in her arms.
‘Are you angry, mother? “Ethan asked, raising his little head.
“… Well, a little bit.” Abby blinked.
“Mom, I’m sorry, I was wrong. I shouldn’t have lied.” Ethan pouted. “But I saw your sister seem to hate you, and the smile of grandma was so fake! I’m very angry that they got together to bully you.”
The little guy knew he had done something wrong and offered to apologize to Abby.
Abby nodded, her gentle eyes shining like water.
“Ethan, it’s right to protect mother. But don’t cheat next time. You should be a honest boy, OK?”
“Yes!”
Ethan nodded heavily and held out his small, fleshy hand to make a pinky swear with Abby.
In Eva’s room, Tina stood beside the bed, consoling Eva and urging her to endure for a few more days.
“No. Why should I suffer it? The little bastard and the bitch have conspired to frame me up! Although she returned home from abroad, she could stay anywhere in our country. Why do you bring her back to our house?”
Tina reached out her hand to hush Eva. She walked to the door with serious expression, put her ear to the door, listening carefully to make sure that no one was outside, and then turned back.
“Eva, your father has a business problem and needs a lot of money to deal with it. A developer offered to help us…on condition that our daughter should marry his retarded son.”
