“Aaahhh,” Elder Ambrosia screamed in pain because I changed the direction of the dagger at the last moment, right into her heart.
“I could have killed you too, but I didn’t want to kill my own mother.”, I said in a disgusting tone. But I had to kill Elder Ambrosia because she had the power to steal, and I didn’t want her to steal my powers before I could have used them for my benefit.
“What? How?”, She yelled in shock.
“Because I’m marked by him, and so, his powers are in me to some extent. You can’t control my mind just like him.”, I sneered.
She laughed, “So, what? You are still dying?”
“But not before removing your existence,” I smirked.
“We will meet soon,” Saying this, I closed my eyes to concentrate through the pain of my injury was not helping me at all. I felt her attacking me, but a loud growl made me realize that he was there to protect me.
‘Mate is hurt, and mate might die.’, Ivory whimpered. ‘But you shouldn’t let that divert your mind because you will focus on time travel again, then everything will be fine. And our mate knows that whatever he is doing that worth it.’, She also encouraged.
I smiled at her words, and the next moment, I was in mom’s room again.
“Eva!!” Mom screamed, looking at the condition. She almost ran toward me to hold me. “What happened? Who did this to you?”
“Mom!! I… I’m fine.”
“Shut up! You don’t look fine to me.”, She scolded me. She helped me to get near the bed where she had been resting a moment before. In no time, the Nurse came running inside, maybe after hearing mom’s scream.
“Mrs. Williams?”, She said and looked at the two similar faces and saw my condition. “Oh my god. What happened to your sister? Let me call the doctor.”
“No. I’m fine!”
“You shut up, young lady.”, Mom scolded again. “Sister, please get me the first aid box first.” When Nurse ran out to bring the first aid box, I looked at the mom.
“They…they are humans. They can’t treat me. Moreover, I’m dying.”
“I know, but this bleeding needs to be stopped.”, she responded, checking my wound. “Some has stabbed you with a silver knife. But who, Eva?”
“You.”, She froze for a while, hearing me still asking to reconfirm whether she heard it right or not!!
“Me?” I nodded my head. “That’s im…
“Impossible? I know.”, I said, nodding my head. “But you are not like this after seventeen years, mom.”, I added while tears rolled out of my eyes. “When I told you earlier that ‘there is something that will ruin everyone’s life if you will turn into a vampire.’. This was the reason. And except for these, I won’t for the details.”, I said, and immediately Ivory howled in unbearable pain, making me realize that my mate was dead. Daniel’s mark on my body started fading, and I couldn’t help myself from sobbing.
“Eva? What happened, sweetheart?”
“My mate…he is dead in my time.” I couldn’t hold my tears. We had planned a lot of things and especially him, but we didn’t get a chance to fulfill them.
“Eva!” Mom wiped my tears. “Stop crying, okay? Nothing will happen to your mate or anyone. I promise you that. I know how it feels like to lose a mate, and my Princess wouldn’t face the same misfortune. I won’t be turned into a vampire, even if God will ask me to be the one. I promise you that, Princess! Just don’t cry. Please.”
“Father will be able to convince you, and it’s still day. I don’t think I can survive till then.”
“Oh! He can never do that. You have no idea to what extent a mother can go keep her child’s future safe.”, Mom said with determination.
“Mom!! I have a few more requests.”
“Just say it, darling!”
“Please don’t hide so many things from that little Eva because her life will turn upside down when suddenly, at the age of twenty-three, all the truth will be revealed. I know she can’t understand the things at six years old, but she can understand the things at twelve or thirteen years old, and if not everyone, then please tell all the truth to dad so that he can train her to be a better warrior in a pack and at last not the least, please ask father to unbid my powers, because she can’t handle everything at the age of twenty-three all of a sudden. “All points, NOTED. Anything else, Princess?”, She said with a smile on her face.
I shook my head, “No.”
“I will have to leave to change a few little things from other lives as well.”

“I Know I’m dying slowly. Maybe a healer can treat me, but what would I do by staying in staying in that part of the time when my mate is not there for me. Just remember your promise, Mom. And I love you.”

“Yes! The moment your little Eva will become pro in her power.” I smiled before closing my eyes and reaching at Daniel’s pack on the day when James died while saving Daniel’s life.
‘That’s… that’s our mate.’, Ivory pointed out, seeing a little boy sneaking out of the packhouse. But he didn’t see a rouge following him from behind. I knew that he was going to attack my little mate after a while.
‘Let’s end his life, and then the problem of Aunt Emma’s hatred will be solved.’ Ivory said exactly the same thing which I was thinking.
I knew shifting would cause a lot of blood loss, but I knew the time when I was going to die. I shifted and lunged on that rouge before he could have attacked my mate. The loud caused little Daniel to squeal, and he turned back to look at us. I ripped the throat of the rouge, killing him in front of my little mate. He was looking at me with wide eyes.
‘We should leave.’, I reminded Ivory, who was not ready to leave from there. “Ivory, we can’t mess with his timeline; otherwise, a lot of things will change in the future.’
‘Just a moment, please.’
Instead of feeling scared of us, Mini Daniel walked toward us and looked at Ivory in amazement.
“Woah!! You’re a girl.”, he pointed out. “And you can fight.”, he added. “I will also ask dad to let the girl take training because you don’t look like weak to me.’
‘He is so sweet. Can we take him with us?’
‘Shut up!’
I grabbed him by holding his shirt between my canines and took him back to the packhouse.
“But I want to help.”, he whined.
“Grrhhh”
“Okay fine!’, he added. I dropped him to the ground and pushed his back with my head toward the packhouse. He didn’t want to get inside but seeing me glaring at him, he reluctantly agreed. Now, I had to solve the issue of his mother. Thankfully I knew the date when this issue was created, Nora’s fourth birthday.

I grabbed Daniel’s video camera before he could have gotten a hand on him and watched the video which was recorded in it.
Everything was true until he had broken the video camera!
Mom stabbed the knife in his heart while killing him and pushed him away. ‘I lied to you that Daniel was your son to keep him safe from you. What did you think that Daniel was the result of the rape that you did to me? Nope! I was never pregnant with your child. I just lied to keep future Alpha and my pup safe from their own uncle. Daniel, Nora, and Stephen are all my kids. I thought to postpone my plan to kill you, but nope, you wanted to die today, so let be it. Your father kicked you out of the pack; I guess that was not enough, so he returned to destroy your brother’s life. He couldn’t kill you, but I surely can because I’m going to handle your threat anymore.”, Saying this, she kept stabbing that stranger again and again and again until he was dead.
I deleted that video, and after closing the video camera, I came back to my timeline, at my packhouse, where there was no one.
I went into Daniel’s office and looked at his table where he had left a diary and a note. A lone tear rolled down my eyes when I read the first sentence of the note.
‘To-do list.’
I couldn’t gather the courage to read it. I inserted it inside the diary and knew a person who needed it.
My wound was getting worst with each passing second, and now I even stopped feeling Ivory. I did one more last thing that was pending and then went out of the packhouse to find one special person between a lot of dead bodies on the ground.
And there he was!
Lying lifeless on the ground. I reached near him and sat beside him, pulling his head into my lap. I leaned down and rested my head against his before speaking.
“We will meet soon.”

Seventeen years later!!

“Eva! Aleena! Hurry up, girls! The Alpha of Stone Moon Pack will be arriving here anytime soon.”, Dad screamed for the nth number of times.
“Coming, Dad.”, I yelled back and looked at Aleena! “What do you think? Why is he coming?”
“I have heard that his wolf has sensed his mate in this pack! So, that can be a reason.”, Aleena said, applying a little more lipgloss than required.

“And I’m sure that I will be his mate.”, She said, batting her fake eyelashes. “Because an alpha needs an alpha female as his luna. Not some human.”, She added, making me realize that I was nothing but just a human.
But only if she knew my real identity. Only dad and I knew for now what I was, but he asked me not to reveal to anyone because hybrids are too rare, and he didn’t want to risk my life. So, my identity was kept hidden from everyone.
‘I wish my mate find me soon.’, I mentally hoped. Because there was no way I could recognize him without my Lycan, and my Lycan would appear out only after when the full moon ray falls on the body of a human after meeting his or her mate.
Hearing a sound of a car horn. I realized he was here. Aleena quickly ran out of the room to see him while I stayed in my bed, not planning to go out. But It looked like someone else was coming for me even if I wasn’t planning to go out.
The door of the room was slammed loudly, and someone growled before speaking, “MATE.”

The moment I lifted my head and my eyes landed on a young man. No, not just handsome but deadly handsome. With his 5’9′ feet height, broad shoulders, well-muscled chest, flat stomach, and long legs, he definitely has got a body to charm any girl and woman. His well-sculpted face, strong jawline, sharp nose, and silky black hair were enough to make anyone drool over him, but what struck me the most were his brown eyes which were getting changed every moment. He looked at me, and his eyes showed a lot of love for…me?
We would have continued with our staring session for God knows how long, but we were distracted by Dad’s voice.
“Eva, he is Alpha Daniel Grint of Stone Moon Pack, and Alpha Daniel, she is my elder daughter, Evangeline.”
I was now able to compose myself. He also came out of his thoughts.
“MATE,” he said again, but I couldn’t confirm it without my Lycan.
“Alpha Daniel, she is a human.”, Dad said.
“And, of course, you need any alpha female like me as your Luna instead of picking a weakling as your Luna.”, Aleena said immediately; my mate growled at her.
“This will be the last time you are disrespecting my mate. I believed in mates and mate bonds. So, there’s no chance I’m choosing someone else over her.”, he said using his Alpha tone, and immediately his eyes softened when they landed on me again. “Alpha Willams, please make necessary arrangements for your daughter’s wedding.”, he said, widening my eyes.
“Marriage? This soon?” I couldn’t help myself from panicking.
“Yeah! That will be so soon, won’t it? But don’t worry, I have planned everything with me and also have a to-do list before your marriage.”
“To-do list?”
“Yes, first I will try my best you make you feel special, then propose to you in an amusement park for the wedding, then after your YES, then we will think of our marriage, then marking and mating and the Luna Ceremony. What do you say?” he asked.
I looked at dad, mom, and Aleena. Dad understood my situation and took them away from there, closing the door.
“I don’t know what to say! I mean, you have planned a lot of things.”, I muttered in confusion.
“But my planning will get success in real life only when you say YES.”, he said, holding my both hands. A wave of sparks ran all over my body when he touched me. He looked so genuine and sweet that I couldn’t say NO. Well, why would I?
It was not that he was an arrogant jerk.
“Yes”
“My mate, My Angel, and my soon-to-be bride.”, He smiled widely.
“Umm…but I have a question; why do you want to propose to me in an amusement park?”,
“Don’t you like it?”
“No, It’s not like that. It’s just how did he know that I love amusement parks.
“Santa told me.”
“Huh?”
“When I was a kid, a Santa visited my house and gave me a diary with a to-do list. He asked me to apply all those things and when I will find my mate and read that diary together with your mate. Now that I have found you. I can’t wait to read that diary with you someday.”
“Hmm. Seems like that Santa knew me and also knew that I have one of the sweetest memory with the amusement park. Even I can’t wait to read what is so special about that diary which he suggested you read with me.” I muttered. “By you really sure that you want me as your mate? A human?”
“I don’t have a second thought about that, Mate. It’s not that I want a strong mate for weight lifting or for wrestling. I need a loving mate for me, for us.”
I bit my bottom lips suppressing that stupid smile like a teenager and the blush that I felt trying to creep onto my cheeks. Damn my mate! He was making me feel the things that I had never felt before. He leaned down and pressed his forehead against mine before speaking.
“My search for my mate stopped here because finally, we met.”
“Even my wait ends here because we finally met.”
“Finally.”, We said together and smiled.
