CHAPTER 63

Book:FALLING FOR A FAKE OMEGA Published:2024-6-3

Sabrina couldn’t understand herself why the past events still lingered in her mind, even when Kenneth repeatedly gave himself to her. She knew deep down that she loved him immensely, but how much did she really love him? Kenneth was the kind of man who was caring and loving, which only made her fall for him even more. But why was there still hesitation in her heart? Was it because of their tragic past? Or was it because of Isabelle? Sabrina scolded herself, realizing that she shouldn’t doubt Kenneth’s sincerity anymore. He had proven his love for her multiple times.
“Did I make you feel how much I love you?” she asked him.
Kenneth furrowed his brow upon hearing Sabrina’s sudden question and countered with one of his own. “Why are you asking that?”
“Just please answer my question,” she pleaded, resting her head on his well-built arm.
“Hmm, why don’t you just show me again how much you love me?” Kenneth challenged her in a whisper.
Sabrina smiled at Kenneth’s request. After a few minutes of basking in their happiness, they wanted to relive it once more. “Tell me, Kenneth, are you really human?”
Kenneth gasped at Sabrina’s question. “Of course, I am! Why?”
“Aren’t you tired from what we’ve done? We’ve been here for a while now,” Sabrina said to him.
Kenneth secretly smiled at her remark. “What were you worried about? We’re getting married again, so no one would be surprised if we were locked in a room,” he replied.
Sabrina playfully slapped Kenneth and got up. “I’ve been hungry for a while now,” she said, quickly changing her clothes. “Don’t you want to eat?”
“I’ll cook for you,” Kenneth said, getting up to change his clothes as well.
“No, just stay here and rest properly,” Sabrina said, approaching him and whispering,
“Take a rest and prepare yourself for my return.”
“No, please wait,” she stopped him from leaving but then she couldn’t decide what to tell him.
“You seem lost in thought. Let’s eat first before swimming,” Kenneth suggested, helping the woman stand up from her sandy seat.
They would go to the beach almost every day to swim. Someone had told her that swimming was good exercise for a pregnant woman, and Sabrina was grateful that Kenneth was always ready to accompany her to the shore.
“I want to eat boiled sweet potato, the one with purple flesh,” she said.
Kenneth granted her request. He left her for a moment, and when he returned, he brought a tray with the food she requested. He let her eat, and after filling her stomach, they talked. Their topic covered almost everything, but later on, Kenneth’s hands were suddenly all over her body.
He was insatiable!
Sabrina involuntarily moaned loudly as Kenneth intensified his movements. Sabrina noticed that despite their earlier activities, Kenneth remained incredibly hard. It seemed as though he hadn’t lost any of his arousal. But when Kenneth penetrated her deeply, Sabrina couldn’t help but complain because she could hardly move.
“It feels like you’ve reached my womb…” she groaned to him.
Each thrust from Kenneth brought a different kind of pleasure to Sabrina. It was as if her dream had come true after weeks of longing to experience intimacy with Kenneth again.
“Kenneth…” she gasped, repeatedly uttering his name as he entered and exited her body. She lost herself in the moment, with only their physical connection on her mind. “Please, slow down,” she pleaded when she sensed she was nearing climax.
Kenneth complied for a moment, but after a few seconds, he plunged back into her with increased intensity.
“Baby…” Kenneth whispered in her ear, his movements growing even more vigorous.
Her vision started to blur from the overwhelming pleasure Kenneth was providing her body, and she repeated the man’s name over and over.
“It feels so good,” she uttered.
Kenneth didn’t respond, but suddenly he withdrew himself from her and stood up.
Sabrina followed suit, getting off the bed to inquire about his actions, but he immediately turned her around and slightly bent her over. She felt a slight embarrassment when she caught a glimpse of herself in the large mirror in front of her. Her pregnant form looked peculiar.
“Ohhhhh!” Her eyes rolled back as an intense sensation swept through her body. “Faster, baby,” she pleaded to him as she felt the signs of nearing climax once again.
“Yes…” Kenneth responded, quickening his thrusts inside her. “Baby…” he moaned, pressing his body firmly against hers, allowing themselves to fully experience the heat of their passion beneath their intertwined bodies.
They took a brief moment to catch their breaths, then Sabrina kissed the man’s cheek repeatedly. It would have led to another round of lovemaking if Kenneth hadn’t stopped her. They rested for a moment, with Sabrina’s mind still somewhat dazed. She had been smiling without reason.
“What’s wrong?” he asked the woman.
“Nothing. I just remembered something,” Sabrina replied, smiling again as she recalled that day.
For Sabrina, she might be the happiest pregnant woman in the whole world. Why wouldn’t she be? Kenneth has given her all kinds of care. Because of her condition, he took an indefinite leave from the University to focus on her.
“It’s okay if we only see each other on weekends,” Sabrina suggested to the man because she was concerned about his business. Yes, she wanted to be with him every day, but she admitted that he had a business to manage.
“I don’t want to,” Kenneth replied directly because he didn’t want to be away from Sabrina while she was pregnant with their second child. “I have a manager there,” he added.
“Thank you,” Sabrina sincerely thanked Kenneth for not neglecting her like he did during her previous pregnancy.
“I should be the one thanking you for not neglecting my child,” Kenneth replied.
“My child? Our child,” Sabrina said and the man smiled. Since the beginning, she had always been hypnotized by the man whenever he smiled, and she prayed that Kenneth wouldn’t change.
Kenneth squeezed the woman’s hand and smiled sweetly at Sabrina. “Do you know how much I love you?” He asked her and hugged her tightly.
“Ouch! Our child got squished,” Sabrina complained when Kenneth hugged her too tightly.
She wasn’t the only one protesting, as even the baby in her womb reacted.
Kenneth distanced himself slightly because he didn’t want to hurt the child, but he stooped down and kissed the growing belly of the woman.
“I can’t wait to see you, my child,” he whispered.
Although the man’s voice was weak, Sabrina still heard what Alexander said, and she smiled. “I can’t wait for you to be truly mine,” Sabrina said. Just the thought of being with someone other than Kenneth felt like she was about to kill someone.
“You’ve been the owner of me for a long time,” Kenneth replied.
“Let’s get married tomorrow,” Sabrina suggested.
“Are you sure? If what you said is true, I will arrange the papers right now,” Kenneth said.
“Just kidding. I’m due next month, so it’s close.”
“Take a rest while I talk to Simon about the University,” Kenneth ordered.
“As you wish, my love,” Sabrina agreed, but she refused when Kenneth suggested he accompany her to their room.
“Are you sure?”
“Yes,” Sabrina reassured him and then pushed the man away to talk to Simon.
Her belly was quite large, so her movements were often slow. She slowly climbed the stairs when she met Meghan. Meghan carried the crying Ariana, who probably wanted to play with Scarlet and her mother.
“Are you going out?”
“Yup! By the way, Sabrina, a parcel arrived earlier, just pass by my room, okay?”
“Thank you, Meghan.”
When she entered Meghan’s room, she immediately saw the parcel mentioned, and as she walked back to her room, she furrowed her brow because she didn’t expect any documents. The papers she needed for her future business had already been taken care of by an accountant she personally know.
Before opening the parcel sent through the courier, Sabrina pulled the curtain aside to see the blue ocean. Whenever her mind was in turmoil or when she needed to think things through, the beautiful view from her room helped her.
She raised an eyebrow while tearing open the plastic pouch from courier bearing the logo of Stardust because she didn’t recognize the sender. Nevertheless, she still read the first page of the document and immediately looked at some attachments.
Sabrina couldn’t close her mouth when she saw Kenneth’s happy face with another woman. Her whole body suddenly turned cold, and she had to sit on the bed to make sure she didn’t fall to the floor. It felt like she had been drenched in icy water. No, it wasn’t just poured on her but submerged in water full of ice.
She was in the middle of weighing what she should do when the door suddenly opened and Kenneth entered. Sabrina’s face appeared in her mind as she stared at the man’s face before she stood up and confronted him.
Kenneth didn’t have time to react when Sabrina suddenly slapped him hard across the cheek. They only talked to Simon briefly because he wanted to invite Sabrina to eat donuts in the neighboring town. Someone told him that there was a new donut shop there, and it was the girl’s favorite food.
“Why, Kenneth? How could you do this to me?”
Kenneth furrowed his brow because he couldn’t think of anything wrong he had done to the woman. They were just happy together earlier, so he didn’t know why she suddenly burst into the room with angry eyes.
“I don’t understand you,” he said.
Sabrina returned to the bed and grabbed the envelope containing photos of her with another woman and slammed it on the man’s face. She winced as she held back tears from falling.
“You’re capable of doing unimaginable things, aren’t you? While I’m taking care of your child inside my womb, what have you been doing? Meeting different women and you even want to marry me? How long do you plan to deceive me?”
“Sabrina, can you please calm down for a moment? I will explain everything,” Kenneth pleaded with the woman, but she just shook her head and turned away from him. He wanted to tell her that the photos were edited to obscure Isabelle’s face. The pictures were taken too long ago but then, Isabelle found the right time to use them.
“I want to be alone for now,” Sabrina said to the man because she didn’t want to talk to Kenneth at the moment. She was afraid she might scratch his face in anger.
“Sabrina, please,” Kenneth begged, wanting Sabrina to listen to him. “I won’t leave until you hear my explanation.”
Sabrina raised an eyebrow automatically at Kenneth’s pleading. “You promised me that you wouldn’t hurt me again, but why now? You promised, Kenneth.” Her voice trembled slightly as she accused him of breaking his promises.
“I’m sorry for keeping that from you. It happened a long time ago, Sabrina.”
When Sabrina heard the first line of Kenneth’s explanation, her tears fell uncontrollably. “A long time ago? So it means you’ve been deceiving me for a long time,” she said, enduring the pain in her throat as she held back her tears.
Kenneth let out a sigh as Sabrina misinterpreted what he said. “Believe me, I didn’t deceive you. I didn’t mention anything about Sabrina because it’s not important anymore,” he explained.
“It may not be important to you, but it’s important to me, and you know that. Do you know how hard it is to trust again? Especially for you, who already has a history of hurting me, but I chose to give you another chance.” She paused for a moment and wiped the tears from her eyes. “And you still did it. You deceived me and hurt me again. Do you know what I’m feeling right now? I feel like I’m dying from sadness and anger, but I can’t kill you!” After saying what she wanted to throw at him, she allowed herself to sob loudly.
“You haven’t even heard my full explanation, and that’s your immediate reaction. You always throw our past in my face, Sabrina. Why? Haven’t I done enough to show you how much I love you? Haven’t you felt my love for you? You know that I love you deeply,” Kenneth said, slightly hurt that the woman still lacked trust in him.
“You’re the one at fault, yet you’re the one who’s angry!”
“It’s difficult with you because you always let your ego prevail! Can’t I change? Why don’t you believe me when I say that I have good intentions for why I kept it from you?”
“You shouldn’t have kept it a secret! You should have told me the truth! You should have told me that you’re happier with her,” Sabrina insisted.
Kenneth sighed as he walked closer to Sabrina. “Yes, I loved her, but that was a long time ago,” Kenneth continued to explain to Sabrina, but she still shook her head as if she didn’t believe his words.
“Just because it happened a long time ago doesn’t change the fact that you betrayed me,” Sabrina stubbornly refused to listen to Kenneth’s explanations.
“What do I need to do to make you believe that Isabelle and I are a thing of the past?”
“Nothing,” Sabrina answered simply, tired of listening to Kenneth’s lies.
“Sabrina, please!”
“Don’t call me Sabrina now because I can’t forgive you for what you did! You can leave now,” she ordered him.
Angry, Kenneth punched the wall, not caring if his hand started bleeding. “Is that how shallow you see me? I did everything to make you feel loved, is that still not enough?”
Sabrina frowned at Kenneth’s words, but she still faced him with anger. “How about me? How shallow do you think I am that you were able to deceive me repeatedly?”
“I didn’t deceive you!” Kenneth insisted in an angry voice. He didn’t want to raise his voice at the woman, but she was too stubborn and wouldn’t listen. He had already said that what happened between him and Sabrina was a long time ago, but she still didn’t believe him.
“If you were in my position right now, what would you do?”
“Those pictures were taken some years ago! Didn’t you recognize the woman in the photo? It’s Isabelle! For goodness sake, I even left the mansion after the divorce,” he tried to explain.
“Oh please, just shut up!” she screamed at him.
