*Kat’s POV
“He was the one who attacked my friend first, the mayor was just helping her.” I said calmly but far from calm with police officers all around us, Ry with his friend in the ambulance getting help, Raven comforting Amanda while she was talking to another police officer.
When we called everyone to the club never did we think this was the way our night was going to end. Now to the question how did everyone end up like this. Well we got to rewind back.
*4 hours ago*
“Here we are. When should I come sir?” Mark asked.
“I will call Mark.” Ryder said while getting out from the car, me following him.
We are at his friend Gabriel’s club, ‘Devil’s Drinks’. It is a very famous club with several branches in all of USA. He was one of the business allies of Ryder. He along with Neocount used to be Ryder’s best friend in his college.
When Ry asked me to go for clubbing, though with hesitation I said yes, cause god knows I terribly need a distraction from the real world drama. I called Amanda, Raven, Martha, Jason also Richard, Rayna, Cassy. I haven’t seen Rayna and Cassy after I took Ry’s project it would be a good time to catch with all of them.
When we entered the club it was the usual sight we see in every clubs. Alcohol, drunken people dancing, loud music. It’s been a while I been to a club. The last time I came was when I first joined the Simiona Architects, when they all brought me to a club to celebrate me joining the team.
I am not much of a party person but I used partying and alcohol as an option to forget about my miseries, but much to the hope of forgetting it, I forgot none and the feelings came back 100 fold the next day.
I told Ry I will stay outside waiting for my friends while he go and meets his friends. He nodded and said he will come to find me in 10 mins. Kissing me on the cheek he went upstairs to meet his friends. It was a three floored club with a mix of normal club and strip clubbing but unless to go separately to each part of the club the ones in one floor wont know the existence of the other floors. That was how the architecture was. It amazed me how they made it possible.
Only an architecture goes into the detailing of each building because they know what goes behind each while others just view it like one view a art piece in a gallery. To others it is just an artwork but to the painter and the people working in it knows it is not just an artwork but much more. I love going to exhibitions which is another hobby of mine, when I don’t want to distract myself with alcohol but with something else, that wont return the pain 100 fold.
It was within 10 mins that my friends from Ry’s company came to the club since they are nearer and after 10 mins that my friends from my company came. To meet them Ry was also with me outside while he made sure his employees were inside in the VIP room. Yeah forgot to tell about the VIP room, it was the room attached to both 1st and 2nd floor which is the only floor we can see from each floor but was guarded by a big scary bouncer but was actually a softie. I met him and tried talking to him when we took Raven, Martha and Jason to the VIP section. Notice the word tried because though a softie he stood their like a stone. How I found he was a softie? Well, Gabriel said.
So while I tried and failed talking to him Martha was flirting with him, to which he stood not moving like a stone, much to Jason’s annoyance. I think something’s going on between the two. Either Jason don’t have the balls to confess or Martha is deflecting all his advances. I could notice something different in the way he looked at Martha and defended her from her ex.
Hopefully they become a thing. I like being a cupid now.
It was after we all settled in that Amanda came in after I gave the directions to come and Gabriel notified his bouncer of her arrival. The moment Amanda entered till now that is 1 hour to be exact both Neocount and Amanda haven’t stopped talking and flirting with eachother. I have never seen Amanda blush before. Yes she have been hit on before but she haven’t blushed saying she knows she is hot and sexy. But it might have something to do with the fact that it was the first time someone called her beautiful and not sexy.
Raven and Richard has been in their own bubble dancing in the first floor. It seems that after he left he called her to a date and from then on they officially announced that they are in a relationship now.
As for Gabriel he too is in first floor dancing with different girls, flirting with all girls there making them blush and giggle like a schoolgirl. He is handsome and has a way with his words. Despite being a playboy he is very loyal to his friends. Ry said many incidents where Gabriel and Neocount had helped him out with his business and his personal life as well.
Now for me and Ryder. We have been dancing for a while now. After getting tired of the way Neocount and Amanda were all over eachother we decided to hit the dancefloor. When we got up to go they too decided to hit the dance floor as well.
Sometimes some drunken guys would hit us. Someone even tried dancing with me even after me rejecting him multiple times but when I decided to ignore him he somehow took it as a yes and touch my hips. Ry got angrier seeing this and took his hand off me and twisted it in pain to which he screamed but the music was so loud and all were hammered, so no one bothered to look at the incident and Ry whispered something in the guy’s ear. The guys eyes widened and left to get to another girl. It seems that Ry had told him, that action of his costed him to be on his bad side that if he bothered us again we would be blacklisted not only from this club but from the other clubs in the state as well.
