Nora put her cellphone back into her handbag, and gazed at the same direction as well.
The man walking into this room had a tall and strong figure, who was born with a natural aura of elegance and nobility. The Hermes suit had enhanced his rangy physique, and his face was like a sculpture handmade by the best artist from Italy. Every line and shape was drawn perfect and astonishingly delicate.
And the woman who was holding his hand was the popular movie star Vivienne Hall.
Nora felt a sudden contraction of her pupils at that very moment, with her heartstrings highly lifted.
That was Kingsley. Why was he here?
Moreover, he was here with Vivienne Hall.
That was what Vivienne called him for!
Nora felt so regretful of not asking Kingsley where he was going. Otherwise she wouldn’t have been in such an awkward situation.
She didn’t have time for additional thoughts. Nora just bowed her head and moved towards the opposite direction.
She couldn’t let Kingsley see her, or he would assume that she was stalking him deliberately, and she would never be able to explain herself.
The waitress was serving drinks around. Suddenly someone grasped her hand and said, “Watch out!”
Something came from Nora’s back and hit her before she could even react.
A glass of iced juice poured over her just like that.
The freeze immediately permeated all her limbs and bones, soaking into her body.
Nora held her breath, thinking to herself it was true that haste brings chaos.
The waitress was horrified. She was totally absent-minded just now, for she saw lots of cute guys. She didn’t pay enough attention and bumped into the guest in front of her.
“I’m so sorry…I’m sorry…”
She kept apologizing, grabbing Nora’s hands and wanted to give her some tissue.
Nora was flurried. What if Kingsley noticed her and the whole mess…
With this thought in her head, she shook off the waitress abruptly, trying to make her way through the crowds to get out.
She couldn’t care less about all the gossips and comments behind her. All she wanted to do was hide from Kingsley.
However, Nora didn’t notice there was a foot sticking out of the crowds. She was tripped and fell down on the ground. Her elbows hit the marble floor so hard that she almost burst out crying.
Someone suddenly said in a clearly sarcastic tone, which was loud and clear, “Look! She’s wearing the same dress as Vivienne!”
“Who on earth is she? She must be wearing a fake one. That’s really disgraceful!”
Nora was surrounded by hostility and laughter. She heard a beautiful female voice when she finally came to life, “Are you alright?”
She was wearing a beige dress, which was the same as the one Nora was wearing. And Nora was sitting on the ground with juice all over her back, which put her in an embarrassing situation.
When Vivienne saw Nora’s face clearly, something struck her and she quickly turned her eyes on the man standing next to her.
Kingsley frowned, narrowing his eyes and staring at the woman in a mess.
His eyes were deep and beautiful, just like the dark, vast galaxy. But now they were gazing at her, covered by dark and thick clouds.
Nobody here knew about the relationship between Kingsley and Nora, not even Vivienne. Vivienne only knew that Kingsley was a married man, but she had never met his wife. She just thought Nora seemed really familiar to her.
Nora was blushing, feeling all eyes were on her, and tears began to fill her eyes.
Kingsley crouched down, still frowning. It seemed to other people that he was showing concern, but there was no emotion or warmth in his eyes.
“Did you get hurt?” He asked.
