Chapter 65 To Curry Favor With The Boss

Book:Billionaire Wants To Get Married Published:2024-6-2

Raymond was surprised at the vibe emanating from Vanessa, and his heart could not help but doubt himself.
Could this little girl really be his boss?
But it should not be, cause she looked like a high school student.
At this time, Vanessa threw over a stack of paper documents.
“Get those files processed.”
Raymond took it, with some disdain in his heart. But as he flipped through the papers, before he could read a few lines, his brow furrowed.
These documents were challenged for him that it would take him at least a week to deal with them.
“Can’t do it?” Vanessa asked bluntly.
Raymond got a little anxious, “Who do you mean?”
Vanessa, “You.”
Raymond, “Give me a week and I’ll get these files done…”
Before he could finish his words, the folder in his hand was jerked away.
Vanessa took out a pen and started circling the document, and twenty minutes later, she handed the document full of markings to Raymond.
Raymond didn’t believe that Vanessa had already taken care of these documents.
Such demanding documents would take days for even the most professional person.
Not to mention a child with a face full of collagen like Vanessa.
Raymond perfunctorily flipped open the file, casually glanced over. But when he saw the contents inside, his eyes widened instantly.
She actually did it?
Raymond was shocked.
This time he didn’t take it lightly and read every word of the document carefully.
Vanessa also did not rush him and waited quietly.
Another half-hour passed, and Raymond finally finished reading it.
His heart had long been turning up waves of shock.
If he hadn’t seen it with his own eyes, he didn’t think he would have believed that this perfectly handled document came from the hands of the young girl in front of him.
Even given another week, he would not have come up with such a perfect solution.
Raymond closed the document with a heavy heart, and then looked at Vanessa like a genius.
He asked cautiously, “Which university did Miss Simmons graduate from?”
Vanessa faintly swept him a glance, “I haven’t graduated yet.”
Raymond breathed a long sigh of relief after hearing it. Oh, so she hadn’t graduated yet…
What?!
Still not graduated?
Raymond felt his belief was completely turned upside down.
He had always prided himself on being a genius, but in front of Vanessa, he was a piece of trash.
Nothing but crap.
Raymond wanted to cry.
He barely got himself together and asked, “Miss Simmons, may I ask how you became so excellent?”
He had to learn from her.
Vanessa, “I actually think I’m pretty dumb.”
Raymond, “…”
How could she show off in such a low-key way?
Vanessa looked at Raymond, who had turned into a bitter face, thought about it, and felt that she didn’t say anything wrong.
Learning was supposed to be a breeze.
She had a very good visual memory since she was a child.
As for her saying she’s stupid, it’s because she hadn’t learned how to fit in and learn about people she had never been exposed to until now.
Raymond decided to curry favor with Vanessa, although she may be an unattainable height for him. Suddenly, he slapped the table violently, startling Vanessa.
“Miss Simmons, I will follow you from now on!”
Vanessa pursed her thin lips, thought for a while, and said, “Then you can take over my official duties and ask me if there is anything you don’t understand.”
“Okay!” Raymond readily agreed.
Vanessa was also very satisfied with him. Although Raymond was a bit dumb, he can barely take over what she needs to step in. It looked like she needed to reward Edgar when she got back.
“I’m going back to school then.”
Vanessa stood up, put on her small school bag, and politely said goodbye to Raymond.
