Then, Estelle gathered herself up to negotiate with him. “I can give you all my money.”
“I will spend all the money eventually, no matter how much you give me, so that’s not enough.” As the one gaining control over the situation, Victor enjoyed playing with his prey.
“I can also give you my house property and stock funds. Oh, I can even start a company for you.”
Not interested in Estelle’s generous offer, Victor said indifferently, “It seems that you don’t love your children that much.”
“Why don’t I decide for you? You can keep one child out of the three.” He smiled more happily and said more ruthlessly, “I sincerely think being the only child is great because then they don’t need to go great lengths to freeze their siblings out just like Cristofer did.”
Estelle shouted furiously, “Don’t you dare!”
“Chill.” Victor was even happier when he saw that Estelle had almost lost control. Then he continued, “Let me help you analyze the situation here in case my good brother will regret it when he knows this. Why don’t we choose a boy? Or the smallest one? Wait a minute. Isn’t one of these children, not his biological child?”
He wanted to say that Estelle had adopted Christina, but Estelle stopped him before he finished. She would have jumped at him and fought against him if he hadn’t had the three children in his hands. Unfortunately, she could only beg him, “Please tell me what you want. Let’s not waste any time.”
Estelle desperately remarked, “The more time we waste, the less reasonable I can be. When I lose control of myself, I will kill you even if I need to go down with you, and you will get nothing.”
After thinking for a while, Victor asked, “Can you decide for the Hans family?”
“I have nothing to do with the Hans family.” Estelle gritted her teeth, her face pale, “It’s true because Cristofer and I have gotten divorced.”
Much to her surprise, Victor clapped his hands. “Bravo! Keep acting. I’m really curious why he would agree to divorce you after risking his life for you and going to jail with my identity. Would you enlighten me?” Then he gritted his teeth because he thought of the fact that he missed Mr. Hans’ funeral and lost the property of the Hans family after that.
Estelle said coldly, “I think you know the answer more clearly than me. You’d better care more about your life and try to get some money from me this time.”
Victor examined Estelle carefully and started smiling triumphantly after seeing her squeezed, trembling hands. “I’m surprised that you, the CEO of the Hudson Group, will also be scared.”
“Of course, I’m scared.” After dealing with him a few times, she knew Victor was like an evil in hell who would take pleasure in other people’s fear. And Estelle begged him, “Victor, I don’t want to waste time talking anymore. As long as you let the children go, I can directly jump down from here if you want me to die.”
“Wow, how moving can the mother’s love be!” Victor chuckled, “I only want the things I deserve. I should have had a share of the property of the Hans family, but the old man was too biased, and my little brother was too greedy. He promised he could give me half of the property. But how could I know how much he had already hidden? I have no idea how much the Hans family owns, so I’ve decided that I want nothing but all the shares of the Hans International Corporation. I will spend all the money eventually, but a company is different because it will make money by itself.”
Estelle stared at him coldly, “Let the children go, and I’ll say yes.”
But Victor laughed joyfully and clapped his hands, “Do you think I’m a fool? After you leave with the children, you can sue me for racketeering. Then you can have a reunion with your children and your husband, and I will be screwed. I want you to give me the right of inheritance now. Or you can say goodbye to your children.”
“You said that you wanted your share of the property.” Estelle still tried to bargain with him without provoking him in order to increase the probability of saving the children. “Don’t you think you’re too greedy to ask for the entire company?”
“No, I don’t. I want the entire company.” Victor said casually, “I have been merciful enough.”
As Estelle stayed silent, Victor thought she must be thinking about a way to deal with him, so he said complacently, “You’re wasting your time if you are waiting for Cristofer to come. I had made full preparations before I made a move.”
As Cristofer speculated, Victor targeted them a long time ago. He was like a snake who had already opened his mouth and waited to bite them with his poisonous teeth. The reason why he made a move today was that he finally got a chance to do it.
Suddenly, Estelle thought of one possibility. ‘Victor first kidnapped the children and enticed me into coming to this detached house, maybe because he wanted to make Cristofer come alone so that he could kill them all and then live with Cristofer’s identity after that.’
Estelle turned cold at the thought of the possibility and said, “Please let the children go first. I will persuade Cristofer to give you the company.”
“No need,” Victor said, “I’m not a fool. I know my brother is crazy in love with you and has already given the property to the three children. What’s the point of persuading a man who has nothing?”
Estelle was a little relieved because Victor was only concerned about the property of the Hans family, so she continued negotiating with him, “Then it’ll be easier. I’m the children’s custodian, so I can sign the papers on behalf of them as their custodian and directly give their property to you.” She analyzed calmly, “And you are their uncle, so it will work.”
Victor squinted his eyes and seemed to be considering it. He knew how cunning Estelle could be, and he asked, “Aren’t you afraid that Cristofer won’t agree with you? The company is all he has.”
“He will agree with me because he cares about his children, too.” Estelle pointed to the window and said miserably, pursing her lips, “Besides, I can’t care about so many things other than their safety now. I can sign on their behalf if you agree to let them go.”
