“Then what do I need to do to make you believe me?” Cristofer sneered.
“Sign an agreement with me. Today is not a good time to do that. Uncle Nelson is still waiting outside. We must go out as soon as possible. I’ll contact you after I draw up the agreement,” Geoffrey calmly said.
As soon as he finished his words, the door of the villa was suddenly pushed open with a bang. Then, several servants rushed in.
“Mr. Hans, it’s dangerous to stay in the house. Come out with us! Mr. Lopez is very worried about you!” A servant said as she reached her hand to pull Cristofer’s left hand.
Cristofer tightly gripped his left hand and swiftly dodged the servant’s attempt to assist him. He said calmly, “It’s alright. I’ve fixed the gas system. You can bring Uncle Nelson back inside.”
The servants were surprised, and one of them began to praise Cristofer, “Mr. Hans, you even know how to fix the gas system? You’re quite…”
Cristofer frowned and waved his hand, cutting him off, “Just bring Uncle Nelson inside. It’s getting windy and cold in the evening.”
“Of course, right away,” the servant replied, hurrying to follow Cristofer’s instructions.

The sudden incident ruined the cozy and happy atmosphere in the dining room.
Looking at the sashimi that was no longer fresh, Nelson sighed and said, “What a pity that we can’t enjoy the fresh taste of this pilot fish.”
Seeing that Cristofer kept silent with a darkened face, Geoffrey smiled and said, “Uncle Nelson, there will be plenty of opportunities to eat fish in the future. You can catch another one next time you go fishing.”
“Do you know how rare the pilot fish are? Many people fishing for many years have never caught one. It’s hard to say if I can catch another one before I die. By the way, what was wrong with the gas system? What caused the gas leak? Didn’t you overhaul the gas system regularly?” Nelson said snappishly.
The next moment, the smile on Geoffrey’s face disappeared. Lowering his head, he said coldly, “Sorry, I don’t know how rare the pilot fish are. I’ll ask someone to check the gas system later.”
“Shut up if you don’t know much about fishing!” Nelson was in a bad mood, so he vented all his displeasure on Geoffrey in front of everyone, ignoring his feelings.
Then Nelson added, “See, Geoffrey, this is one of the differences between you and Cristofer. Cristofer never messes up trivial matters like this! That’s right. Cristofer is excellent in everything. I have never seen anyone better than him. That’s why I chose him as my heir. Thanks to him, I can enjoy my retirement and don’t need to worry that the fruits of my painstaking efforts for all my life will be ruined.”
Geoffrey’s face darkened at once when he heard Nelson’s words.
‘What do you mean, Nelson? Do you mean that I will squander all your properties if you choose me as your heir? I work my ass off for you over the years, and this is what I get in return?! You blind fuck! I’ll make you pay for what you’ve done to me sooner or later!’ Geoffrey screamed these words silently.
Thinking about this, Geoffrey gritted his teeth and put down his chopsticks.
Taking a glance at him, Nelson asked, “What’s wrong with you? Why are you pulling a long face?”
Geoffrey turned his face away and said, “Nothing. I just lost my appetite.”
“If you have no appetite, then get out. Don’t be an eyesore here,” Nelson said in a cold tone.
“Uncle Nelson, you…”
Before Geoffrey could say anything else, Nelson interrupted him and said bluntly, “I asked you to get out. Didn’t you hear that? Are you deaf?”
With a sneer, Geoffrey stood up, quickly limped out of the villa with his stick, and went to the beach.
“Just leave him alone, Cristofer. Let’s continue to have dinner,” Nelson said gently.
“… Okay.” Cristofer felt a little embarrassed.
“I heard that Alexander has agreed to cooperate with you. Is that true?”
“Yes. And we’ll sign the contract soon…”
While they were talking and eating, a servant standing in an unnoticeable corner secretly left the dining room and walked out of the villa. Then she spotted Geoffrey at a glance and walked over to him.
Since Geoffrey was lame, walking on the beach was not convenient for him. So he didn’t walk far away. Standing on the beach outside the villa, he looked at the sea and let the cold sea wind blow on his face.
“Mr. Field,” the servant stood behind him and said in a low voice, “I have done what you asked me to do.”
“Well done,” Geoffrey said. Then he lowered his head and said with a bitter smile, “Uncle Nelson is so partial to Cristofer. When the explosion happened, he didn’t care about my safety at all and even asked me to see if Cristofer was safe.”
The servant then said respectfully in a low voice, “Don’t be sad, Mr. Field. As long as Cristofer remembers that he is Mr. Mysterious and gets to know the truth of the car accident that year, he will fall out with Mr. Lopez, and then you will have a chance to get Mr. Lopez’s properties!”
Hearing this, Geoffrey smiled and asked curiously, “If Cristofer really remembers everything, then there’s a life-or-death battle between Uncle Nelson and him. Who do you think will win then?”
The servant showed a wicked smile and said, “Of course, you will win.”
“Me?”
“Mr. Lopez is surely strong, but he’s old. Cristofer, on the other hand, is young but has a lot of potential. They’re pretty evenly matched. If they end up as enemies and fight each other, you can just wait until they wear each other down. Then you can step in and get what you want,” the servant explained.
Geoffrey smiled upon hearing this and replied, “You’re correct. Cristofer has amnesia now, and it will be a while before he remembers the past. But Estelle, your Mr. Mysterious will return to you soon.”

“Uncle Nelson, there are two things I want to ask you about,” Sitting next to Nelson by the dining table, Cristofer came straight to the point.
Nelson, who thought that he would ask something about business, nodded and said gently, “Okay. Go ahead.”
“How did you deal with the cars in my underground garage after water damaged them?” Cristofer asked.
Without any change in his expression, Nelson calmly sipped his soup and remarked, “They were scrapped and probably ended up in the junkyard. If you like new cars, you can always buy new ones.”
